1 Chronicles 2

1 These [are] sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,

Aceștia sunt fiii lui Israel: Ruben, Simeon, Levi și Iuda, Isahar și Zabulon,

2 Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

3 Sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, three have been born to him of a daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, firstborn of Judah, is evil in the eyes of YHWH, and He puts him to death.

4 And his daughter-in-law Tamar has borne Perez and Zerah to him. All the sons of Judah [are] five.

5 Sons of Perez: Hezron, and Hamul.

6 And sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara; all of them five.

7 And sons of Carmi: Achar, troubler of Israel, who trespassed in the devoted thing.

8 And sons of Ethan: Azariah.

9 And sons of Hezron who were born to him: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.

10 And Ram begot Amminadab, and Amminadab begot Nahshon, prince of the sons of Judah;

11 and Nahshon begot Salma, and Salma begot Boaz,

12 and Boaz begot Obed, and Obed begot Jesse;

13 and Jesse begot his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third,

14 Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

16 and their sisters Zeruiah and Abigail. And sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asah-El—three.

17 And Abigail has borne Amasa, and the father of Amasa [is] Jether the Ishmaelite.

Și Abigail a născut pe Amasa; și tatăl lui Amasa a fost Ieter, ismaelitul.

18 And Caleb son of Hezron has begotten Azubah, Isshah, and Jerioth; and these [are] her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.

Și Caleb fiul lui Hețron a născut copii din Azuba soția lui și din Ieriot, aceștia sunt fiii ei: Ieșer și Șobab și Ardon.

19 And Azubah dies, and Caleb takes Ephrath to himself, and she bears Hur to him.

20 And Hur begot Uri, and Uri begot Bezaleel.

Și Hur a născut pe Uri și Uri a născut pe Bețaleel.

21 And afterward Hezron has gone in to a daughter of Machir father of Gilead, and he has taken her, and he [is] a son of sixty years, and she bears Segub to him.

Și după aceasta Hețron a intrat la fiica lui Machir tatăl lui Galaad, cu care s-a căsătorit când el era în vârstă de șaizeci de ani; și i-a născut pe Segub;

22 And Segub begot Jair, and he has twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead,

Și Segub a născut pe Iair, care a avut douăzeci și trei de cetăți în țara lui Galaad,

23 and he takes Geshur and Aram, the small villages of Jair, from them, with Kenath and its small towns, sixty cities—all these [belonged to] the sons of Machir father of Gilead.

Și Hețron a luat Gheșurul și Aramul, cu orașele din Iair, de la ei, cu Chenatul și orașele acestuia, chiar șaizeci de cetăți. Toate acestea au aparținut fiilor lui Machir, tatăl lui Galaad;

24 And after the death of Hezron in Caleb-Ephratah, then the wife of Hezron, Abijah, even bears to him Asshur, father of Tekoa.

Și după ce Hețron a murit în Caleb-Efrata, atunci Abia, soția lui Hețron, i-a născut pe Așhur, tatăl lui Tecoa.

25 And sons of Jerahmeel, firstborn of Hezron, are: the firstborn Ram, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.

Și fiii lui Ierahmeel, întâiul născut din Hețron, au fost: Ram întâiul născut și Buna și Oren și Oțem și Ahiia.

26 And Jerahmeel has another wife, and her name [is] Atarah, she [is] mother of Onam.

Ierahmeel a avut de asemenea o altă soție, a cărei nume a fost Atara; ea a fost mama lui Onam.

27 And sons of Ram, firstborn of Jerahmeel, are Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.

Și fiii lui Ram întâiul născut al lui Ierahmeel au fost: Maaț și Iamin și Echer.

28 And sons of Onam are Shammai and Jada. And sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.

Și fiii lui Onam au fost: Șamai și Iada. Și fiii lui Șamai: Nadab și Abișur.

29 And the name of the wife of Abishur [is] Abihail, and she bears Ahban and Molid to him.

Și numele soției lui Abișur a fost Abihail și i-a născut pe Ahban și pe Molid.

30 And sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim; and Seled dies without sons.

Și fiii lui Nadab: Seled și Apaim; dar Seled a murit fără copii.

31 And sons of Appaim: Ishi. And sons of Ishi: Sheshan. And sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.

Și fiii lui Apaim: Ișei. Și fiii lui Ișei: Șeșan. Și copiii lui Șeșan: Ahlai.

32 And sons of Jada, brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether dies without sons.

Și fiii lui Iada, fiul lui Șamai: Ieter și Ionatan; și Ieter a murit fără copii.

33 And sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were sons of Jerahmeel.

Și fiii lui Ionatan: Pelet și Zaza. Aceștia au fost fiii lui Ierahmeel.

34 And Sheshan had no sons, but daughters, and Sheshan has a servant, an Egyptian, and his name [is] Jarha,

Și Șeșan nu a avut fii, ci fiice. Și Șeșan a avut un servitor, un egiptean, a cărui nume era Iarha.

35 and Sheshan gives his daughter to his servant Jarha for a wife, and she bears Attai to him;

36 and Attai begot Nathan, and Nathan begot Zabad,

Și Atai a născut pe Natan și Natan a născut pe Zabad,

37 and Zabad begot Ephlal, and Ephlal begot Obed,

Și Zabad a născut pe Eflal și Eflal a născut pe Obed,

38 and Obed begot Jehu,

Și Obed a născut pe Iehu și Iehu a născut pe Azaria,

39 and Jehu begot Azariah, and Azariah begot Helez, and Helez begot Eleasah,

Și Azaria a născut pe Haleț și Haleț a născut pe Elasa,

40 and Eleasah begot Sismai, and Sismai begot Shallum,

Și Elasa a născut pe Sismai și Sismai a născut pe Șalum,

41 and Shallum begot Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begot Elishama.

Și Șalum a născut pe Iecamia și Iecamia a născut pe Elișama.

42 And sons of Caleb brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his firstborn, he [is] father of Ziph; and sons of Mareshah: Abi-Hebron.

Și fiii lui Caleb, fratele lui Ierahmeel, au fost: Meșa întâiul său născut, care a fost tatăl lui Zif; și fiii lui Mareșa tatăl lui Hebron.

43 And sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.

44 And Shema begot Raham father of Jorkoam, and Rekem begot Shammai.

Și Șema a născut pe Raham, tatăl lui Iorcheam; și Rechem a născut pe Șamai.

45 And a son of Shammai [is] Maon, and Maon [is] father of Beth-Zur.

Și fiul lui Șamai a fost Maon; și Maon a fost tatăl lui Bet-Țur.

46 And Ephah concubine of Caleb bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begot Gazez.

Și Efa, concubina lui Caleb, a născut pe Haran și pe Moța și pe Gazez; și Haran a născut pe Gazez.

47 And sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshem, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.

Și fiii lui Iahdai: Reghem și Iotam și Gheșan și Pelet și Efa și Șaaf.

48 The concubine of Caleb, Maachah, bore Sheber and Tirhanah;

Concubina lui Caleb, Maaca, a născut pe Șeber și pe Tirhana.

49 and she bears Shaaph father of Madmannah, Sheva father of Machbenah, and father of Gibea; and a daughter of Caleb [is] Achsa.

Ea a născut de asemenea pe Șaaf, tatăl lui Madmana; Șeva, tatăl lui Mahbena și tatăl lui Ghibea; și fiica lui Caleb a fost Acsa.

50 These were sons of Caleb son of Hur, firstborn of Ephrathah: Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim,

Aceștia au fost fiii lui Caleb, fiul lui Hur, întâiul născut al lui Efrata; Șobal tatăl lui Chiriat-Iearim,

51 Salma father of Beth-Lehem, Hareph father of Beth-Gader.

Salma tatăl lui Betleem, Haref tatăl lui Bet-Gader.

52 And there are sons to Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim: Haroeh, half of the Menuhothite;

Și Șobal, tatăl lui Chiriat-Iearim, a avut fii: Haroe și jumătate din menuhotiți.

53 and the families of Kirjath-Jearim: the Ithrite, and the Puhite, and the Shumathite, and the Mishraite. The Zorathite and the Eshtaolite went out from these.

Și familiile lui Chiriat-Iearim: ietriții și putiții și șumatiții și mișraiții; din ei au venit țoreatiții și eștaoliții.

54 Sons of Salma: Beth-Lehem, and the Netophathite, Atroth, Beth-Joab, and half of the Menuhothite, the Zorite;

Fiii lui Salma: Betleem și netofatiții, Atarot, casa lui Ioab și jumătate din menuhotiți, țoriții.

55 and the families of the scribes, the inhabitants of Jabez: Tirathites, Shimeathites, Suchathites. They [are] the Kenites, those coming of Hammath father of the house of Rechab.

Și familiile scribilor care locuiau la Iaebeț: tiratiții, șimeatiții și sucatiții. Aceștia sunt cheniții care au ieșit din Hamat, tatăl casei lui Rehab.
