1 Chronicles 2

1 These [are] sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,

इस्राएल के पुत्रों के नाम ये है: रियूबेन, शिमओन, लेवी, यहूदाह, इस्साखार, ज़ेबुलून,

2 Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

दान, योसेफ़, बिन्यामिन, नफताली, गाद और आशेर.

3 Sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, three have been born to him of a daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, firstborn of Judah, is evil in the eyes of YHWH, and He puts him to death.

यहूदाह के पुत्र: एर, ओनान और शेलाह. ये तीनों कनानी शुआ की पुत्री से पैदा हुए थे. (एर, यहूदाह का पहलौठा याहवेह की दृष्टि में दुष्ट था; इसलिये याहवेह ने उसके प्राण ले लिए.)

4 And his daughter-in-law Tamar has borne Perez and Zerah to him. All the sons of Judah [are] five.

यहूदाह की पुत्र-वधू तामार से उन्हें पेरेज़ और ज़ेराह पैदा हुए. यहूदाह गोत्र पांच पुत्र थे.

5 Sons of Perez: Hezron, and Hamul.

पेरेज़ के पुत्र: हेज़रोन और हामुल.

6 And sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara; all of them five.

ज़ेराह के पुत्र: ज़िमरी, एथन, हेमान, कालकोल और दारा, कुल पांच पुत्र.

7 And sons of Carmi: Achar, troubler of Israel, who trespassed in the devoted thing.

कारमी के पुत्र: आखान, अर्थात् इस्राएल की विपदा, जिसने भेंट किए हुए सामान को लेकर आज्ञा तोड़ी थी;

8 And sons of Ethan: Azariah.

एथन का पुत्र: अज़रियाह.

9 And sons of Hezron who were born to him: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.

हेज़रोन के पुत्र, जो उसे पैदा हुए: येराहमील, राम और क़ेलब.

10 And Ram begot Amminadab, and Amminadab begot Nahshon, prince of the sons of Judah;

राम पिता था अम्मीनादाब का और अम्मीनादाब नाहशोन का, जो यहूदाह के पुत्रों का नायक हुआ;

11 and Nahshon begot Salma, and Salma begot Boaz,

नाहशोन पिता था सालमा का, सालमा बोअज़ का,

12 and Boaz begot Obed, and Obed begot Jesse;

बोअज़ ओबेद का, ओबेद, यिशै का.

13 and Jesse begot his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third,

येस्सी का पहलौठा था एलियाब, दूसरा अबीनादाब, तीसरा शिमिया,

14 Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

चौथा नेथानेल, पांचवा रद्दाई,

15 Ozem the sixth, David the seventh,

छठवां ओज़ेम और सातवां दावीद.

16 and their sisters Zeruiah and Abigail. And sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asah-El—three.

उनकी बहनें थी, ज़ेरुइयाह और अबीगइल. ज़ेरुइयाह के तीन पुत्र थे अबीशाई, योआब और आसाहेल.

17 And Abigail has borne Amasa, and the father of Amasa [is] Jether the Ishmaelite.

अबीगइल ने अमासा को जन्म दिया. जिसका पिता था इशमाएली मूल का येथेर.

18 And Caleb son of Hezron has begotten Azubah, Isshah, and Jerioth; and these [are] her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.

हेज़रोन के पुत्र कालेब को उसकी पत्नी अत्सूबा और येरिओथ से ये पुत्र पैदा हुए: येशर, शोबाब और अर्दोन.

19 And Azubah dies, and Caleb takes Ephrath to himself, and she bears Hur to him.

जब अत्सूबा की मृत्यु हुई, कालेब ने एफ़राथा से विवाह कर लिया, जिसने हूर को जन्म दिया.

20 And Hur begot Uri, and Uri begot Bezaleel.

हूर उरी का पिता हुआ और उरी बसलेल का.

21 And afterward Hezron has gone in to a daughter of Machir father of Gilead, and he has taken her, and he [is] a son of sixty years, and she bears Segub to him.

इसके बाद में हेज़रोन ने माखीर की पुत्री से संबंध बनाया, माखीर गिलआद का पिता था. उसने साठ वर्ष की उम्र में उससे विवाह किया और उससे सेगूब का जन्म हुआ.

22 And Segub begot Jair, and he has twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead,

सेगूब याईर का पिता हुआ, जो गिलआद में तेईस नगरों का स्वामी था.

23 and he takes Geshur and Aram, the small villages of Jair, from them, with Kenath and its small towns, sixty cities—all these [belonged to] the sons of Machir father of Gilead.

(किंतु गेशूर और अराम ने हव्वोथ-याईर, केनाथ और इन क्षेत्रों के साठ गांव इनसे छीन लिए.) ये सभी गिलआद के पिता माखीर के वंश के थे.

24 And after the death of Hezron in Caleb-Ephratah, then the wife of Hezron, Abijah, even bears to him Asshur, father of Tekoa.

कालेब-एफ़राथा में हेज़रोन की मृत्यु के बाद हेस्रोन की पत्नी अबीयाह ने अशहूर को जन्म दिया, जो तकोआ का पिता था.

25 And sons of Jerahmeel, firstborn of Hezron, are: the firstborn Ram, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.

हेज़रोन के पहलौठे येराहमील के पुत्र थे: पहलौठा राम, इसके बाद बूना, औरेन, ओज़ेम और अहीयाह.

26 And Jerahmeel has another wife, and her name [is] Atarah, she [is] mother of Onam.

येराहमील की एक अन्य पत्नी भी थी, जिसका नाम था अटाराह; जो ओनम की माता थी.

27 And sons of Ram, firstborn of Jerahmeel, are Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.

येराहमील के पहलौठे राम के पुत्र: माअज़, यामिन और एकर.

28 And sons of Onam are Shammai and Jada. And sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.

ओनम के पुत्र: शम्माई और यादा. शम्माई के पुत्र: नादाब और अबीशूर.

29 And the name of the wife of Abishur [is] Abihail, and she bears Ahban and Molid to him.

अबीशूर की पत्नी का नाम था अबीहाइल, जिससे आहबान और मोलिद का जन्म हुआ.

30 And sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim; and Seled dies without sons.

नादाब के पुत्र: सेलेद और अप्पाईम. सेलेद निःसंतान ही मर गया.

31 And sons of Appaim: Ishi. And sons of Ishi: Sheshan. And sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.

अप्पाईम का पुत्र: इशी था, इशी का शेशान, शेशान का अहलाई.

32 And sons of Jada, brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether dies without sons.

शम्माई के भाई यादा के पुत्र: येथेर और योनातन थे. येथेर निःसंतान ही चल बसा.

33 And sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were sons of Jerahmeel.

योनातन के पुत्र थे: पेलेथ और ज़ाज़ा. ये थे येराहमील के वंशज.

34 And Sheshan had no sons, but daughters, and Sheshan has a servant, an Egyptian, and his name [is] Jarha,

शेशान के कोई पुत्र न हुआ, उसके सिर्फ पुत्रियां ही पैदा हुईं. शेशान का यारहा नामक एक मिस्री दास था.

35 and Sheshan gives his daughter to his servant Jarha for a wife, and she bears Attai to him;

शेशान ने अपनी पुत्री का विवाह अपने इसी दास से कर दिया. जिससे अत्तई का जन्म हुआ.

36 and Attai begot Nathan, and Nathan begot Zabad,

अत्तई नाथान का पिता था, नाथान ज़ाबाद का,

37 and Zabad begot Ephlal, and Ephlal begot Obed,

ज़ाबाद एफलाल का, एफलाल ओबेद का पिता था.

38 and Obed begot Jehu,

ओबेद येहू का, और येहू अज़रियाह का.

39 and Jehu begot Azariah, and Azariah begot Helez, and Helez begot Eleasah,

अज़रियाह हेलेस का, और हेलेस एलासाह का.

40 and Eleasah begot Sismai, and Sismai begot Shallum,

एलासाह सिसमाई का, और सिसमाई शल्लूम का.

41 and Shallum begot Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begot Elishama.

शल्लूम येकामियाह का, और येकामियाह एलीशामा का.

42 And sons of Caleb brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his firstborn, he [is] father of Ziph; and sons of Mareshah: Abi-Hebron.

येराहमील के भाई कालेब के पुत्र: उसका पहलौठा मेषा, जो ज़ीफ़ का पिता था, और दूसरा मारेशाह हेब्रोन का.

43 And sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.

हेब्रोन के पुत्र: कोराह, तप्पूआह, रेकेम और शेमा.

44 And Shema begot Raham father of Jorkoam, and Rekem begot Shammai.

रेहाम का पिता था शेमा, जो योरकिअम का पिता था, और रेकेम शम्माई का पिता था.

45 And a son of Shammai [is] Maon, and Maon [is] father of Beth-Zur.

शम्माई का पुत्र था माओन; माओन बेथ-त्सूर का पिता था.

46 And Ephah concubine of Caleb bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begot Gazez.

कालेब की उप-पत्नी एफाह ने, हारान, मोत्सा और गज्ज़ा को जन्म दिया, और हारान गज्ज़ा का पिता हुआ.

47 And sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshem, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.

याहदाई के पुत्र: रेगेम, योथाम, गेशन, पेलेत, एफाह और शाफ़.

48 The concubine of Caleb, Maachah, bore Sheber and Tirhanah;

कालेब की उप-पत्नी माकाह ने, शेबर और तिरहाना को जन्म दिया.

49 and she bears Shaaph father of Madmannah, Sheva father of Machbenah, and father of Gibea; and a daughter of Caleb [is] Achsa.

उसने शाफ़ को भी जन्म दिया, जो मदमन्‍नाह का पिता था और शेवा को भी, जो मकबेनाह और गिबिया का पिता था. कालेब की पुत्री का नाम अक्सा था.

50 These were sons of Caleb son of Hur, firstborn of Ephrathah: Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim,

ये सभी कालेब के वंश के थे. एफ़राथाह के पहलौठे हूर के पुत्र: किरयथ-यआरीम का पिता शोबल,

51 Salma father of Beth-Lehem, Hareph father of Beth-Gader.

बेथलेहेम का पिता सालमा और बेथ-गादर का पिता हारेफ़

52 And there are sons to Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim: Haroeh, half of the Menuhothite;

किरयथ-यआरीम के पिता शोबल के अन्य पुत्र भी थे हारोएह: मेनुहोथ नगरवासियों का आधा भाग,

53 and the families of Kirjath-Jearim: the Ithrite, and the Puhite, and the Shumathite, and the Mishraite. The Zorathite and the Eshtaolite went out from these.

और किरयथ-यआरीम नगर के परिवार: इथरी, पुथी, शुमार्था और मिशराई. इन्हीं से सोराही और एशताओली वंश के लोग पैदा हुए.

54 Sons of Salma: Beth-Lehem, and the Netophathite, Atroth, Beth-Joab, and half of the Menuhothite, the Zorite;

सालमा के पुत्र: बेथलेहेम, नेतोफ़ाथी, अतारोथ-बेथ-योआब और आधे सोरि मानाहाथी,

55 and the families of the scribes, the inhabitants of Jabez: Tirathites, Shimeathites, Suchathites. They [are] the Kenites, those coming of Hammath father of the house of Rechab.

याबेज़ नगरवासी शास्त्रियों के वंशज: तीराही, शिमियाथी और सुकाथी. ये केनी जाति के वे लोग हैं, जो हम्माथ से आए थे, जो रेखाब वंश का मूल था.
