1 Chronicles 2
1 These [are] sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,

2 Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

3 Sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, three have been born to him of a daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, firstborn of Judah, is evil in the eyes of YHWH, and He puts him to death.
Die Söhne Judas: [Vergl. 1. Mose 38] Gher und Onan und Schela; diese drei wurden ihm geboren von der Tochter Schuas, der Kanaaniterin. Und Gher, der Erstgeborene Judas, war böse in den Augen Jehovas, und er tötete ihn.
4 And his daughter-in-law Tamar has borne Perez and Zerah to him. All the sons of Judah [are] five.
Und Tamar, seine Schwiegertochter, gebar ihm Perez und Serach. Aller Söhne Judas waren fünf.
5 Sons of Perez: Hezron, and Hamul.
Die Söhne des Perez [Vergl. 1. Mose 46,12] waren: Hezron und Hamul.
6 And sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara; all of them five.
Und die Söhne Serachs: Simri und Ethan und Heman und Kalkol und Dara; [And. l.: Darda, wie 1. Kön. 4,31] ihrer aller waren fünf. -
7 And sons of Carmi: Achar, troubler of Israel, who trespassed in the devoted thing.
Und die Söhne Karmis: Achar, [in Jos. 7: Achan] der Israel in Trübsal brachte, weil er Untreue beging an dem Verbannten.
8 And sons of Ethan: Azariah.
Und die Söhne Ethans: Asarja. -
9 And sons of Hezron who were born to him: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
Und die Söhne Hezrons, die ihm geboren wurden: Jerachmeel und Ram und Kelubai.
10 And Ram begot Amminadab, and Amminadab begot Nahshon, prince of the sons of Judah;
Und Ram [Vergl. Ruth 4,19-22] zeugte Amminadab; und Amminadab zeugte Nachschon, den Fürsten der Kinder Juda.
11 and Nahshon begot Salma, and Salma begot Boaz,
Und Nachschon zeugte Salma, und Salma zeugte Boas,
12 and Boaz begot Obed, and Obed begot Jesse;
und Boas zeugte Obed, und Obed zeugte Isai.
13 and Jesse begot his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third,
Und Isai zeugte Eliab, seinen Erstgeborenen; und Abinadab, den zweiten; und Schimea, den dritten;
14 Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
Nethaneel, den vierten; Raddai, den fünften;
15 Ozem the sixth, David the seventh,
Ozem, den sechsten; David, den siebten.
16 and their sisters Zeruiah and Abigail. And sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asah-El—three.
Und ihre Schwestern waren: Zeruja und Abigail. Und die Söhne der Zeruja: Abisai und Joab und Asael, drei.
17 And Abigail has borne Amasa, and the father of Amasa [is] Jether the Ishmaelite.
Und Abigail gebar Amasa; und der Vater Amasas war Jether, der Ismaeliter.
18 And Caleb son of Hezron has begotten Azubah, Isshah, and Jerioth; and these [are] her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
Und Kaleb, der Sohn Hezrons, zeugte Söhne mit Asuba, seinem Weibe, und mit Jerioth; [Vielleicht ist mit geringer Änderung zu lesen: zeugte mit seinem Weibe Asuba die Jerioth] und dies sind ihre [d. h. wahrscheinlich der Asuba] Söhne: Jescher und Schobab und Ardon.
19 And Azubah dies, and Caleb takes Ephrath to himself, and she bears Hur to him.
Und Asuba starb; und Kaleb nahm sich Ephrath, und sie gebar ihm Hur.
20 And Hur begot Uri, and Uri begot Bezaleel.
Und Hur zeugte Uri, und Uri zeugte Bezaleel. -
21 And afterward Hezron has gone in to a daughter of Machir father of Gilead, and he has taken her, and he [is] a son of sixty years, and she bears Segub to him.
Und danach ging Hezron ein zu der Tochter Makirs, des Vaters Gileads; und er nahm sie, als er sechzig Jahre alt war, und sie gebar ihm Segub.
22 And Segub begot Jair, and he has twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead,
Und Segub zeugte Jair. Und dieser hatte 23 Städte im Lande Gilead;
23 and he takes Geshur and Aram, the small villages of Jair, from them, with Kenath and its small towns, sixty cities—all these [belonged to] the sons of Machir father of Gilead.
und Gesur und Aram [O. die Gesuriter und die Syrer] nahmen ihnen die Dörfer Jairs weg, mit Kenath und seinen Tochterstädten, sechzig Städte. Diese alle waren Söhne Makirs, des Vaters Gileads.
24 And after the death of Hezron in Caleb-Ephratah, then the wife of Hezron, Abijah, even bears to him Asshur, father of Tekoa.
Und nach dem Tode Hezrons in Kaleb-Ephratha, da gebar Abija, Hezrons Weib, ihm [And. l.: ging Kaleb nach Ephratha; und das Weib Hezrons war Abija, und sie gebar ihm] Aschur, den Vater Tekoas.
25 And sons of Jerahmeel, firstborn of Hezron, are: the firstborn Ram, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.
Und die Söhne Jerachmeels, des Erstgeborenen Hezrons, waren: Der Erstgeborene, Ram, und Buna und Oren und Ozem, von Achija.
26 And Jerahmeel has another wife, and her name [is] Atarah, she [is] mother of Onam.
Und Jerachmeel hatte ein anderes Weib, ihr Name war Atara; sie war die Mutter Onams. -
27 And sons of Ram, firstborn of Jerahmeel, are Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
Und die Söhne Rams, des Erstgeborenen Jerachmeels, waren: Maaz und Jamin und Eker. -
28 And sons of Onam are Shammai and Jada. And sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
Und die Söhne Onams waren: Schammai und Jada. Und die Söhne Schammais: Nadab und Abischur.
29 And the name of the wife of Abishur [is] Abihail, and she bears Ahban and Molid to him.
Und der Name des Weibes Abischurs war Abichail; und sie gebar ihm Achban und Molid.
30 And sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim; and Seled dies without sons.
Und die Söhne Nadabs: Seled und Appaim. Und Seled starb ohne Söhne. -
31 And sons of Appaim: Ishi. And sons of Ishi: Sheshan. And sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.
Und die Söhne Appaims: Jischhi. Und die Söhne Jischhis: Scheschan. Und die Söhne Scheschans: Achlai. -
32 And sons of Jada, brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether dies without sons.
Und die Söhne Jadas, des Bruders Schammais: Jether und Jonathan. Und Jether starb ohne Söhne.
33 And sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were sons of Jerahmeel.
Und die Söhne Jonathans: Peleth und Sasa. Das waren die Söhne Jerachmeels. -
34 And Sheshan had no sons, but daughters, and Sheshan has a servant, an Egyptian, and his name [is] Jarha,
Und Scheschan hatte keine Söhne, sondern nur Töchter. Und Scheschan hatte einen ägyptischen Knecht, sein Name war Jarcha;
35 and Sheshan gives his daughter to his servant Jarha for a wife, and she bears Attai to him;
und Scheschan gab seinem Knechte Jarcha seine Tochter zum Weibe, und sie gebar ihm Attai.
36 and Attai begot Nathan, and Nathan begot Zabad,
Und Attai zeugte Nathan, und Nathan zeugte Sabad,
37 and Zabad begot Ephlal, and Ephlal begot Obed,
und Sabad zeugte Ephlal, und Ephlal zeugte Obed,
38 and Obed begot Jehu,
und Obed zeugte Jehu, und Jehu zeugte Asarja,
39 and Jehu begot Azariah, and Azariah begot Helez, and Helez begot Eleasah,
und Asarja zeugte Helez, und Helez zeugte Elasa,
40 and Eleasah begot Sismai, and Sismai begot Shallum,
und Elasa zeugte Sismai, und Sismai zeugte Schallum,
41 and Shallum begot Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begot Elishama.
und Schallum zeugte Jekamja, und Jekamja zeugte Elischama.
42 And sons of Caleb brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his firstborn, he [is] father of Ziph; and sons of Mareshah: Abi-Hebron.
Und die Söhne Kalebs, des Bruders Jerachmeels: Mescha, sein Erstgeborener [er ist der Vater Siphs], und die Söhne Mareschas, des Vaters Hebrons.
43 And sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
Und die Söhne Hebrons: Korach und Tappuach und Rekem und Schema.
44 And Shema begot Raham father of Jorkoam, and Rekem begot Shammai.
Und Schema zeugte Racham, den Vater Jorkeams, und Rekem zeugte Schammai.
45 And a son of Shammai [is] Maon, and Maon [is] father of Beth-Zur.
Und der Sohn Schammais war Maon, und Maon war der Vater Beth-Zurs. -
46 And Ephah concubine of Caleb bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begot Gazez.
Und Epha, das Kebsweib Kalebs, gebar Haran und Moza und Gases. Und Haran zeugte Gases. -
47 And sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshem, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
Und die Söhne Jehdais: Regem und Jotham und Geschan und Peleth und Epha und Schaaph. -
48 The concubine of Caleb, Maachah, bore Sheber and Tirhanah;
Maaka, das Kebsweib Kalebs, gebar Scheber und Tirchana;
49 and she bears Shaaph father of Madmannah, Sheva father of Machbenah, and father of Gibea; and a daughter of Caleb [is] Achsa.
und sie gebar Schaaph, den Vater Madmannas, Schewa, den Vater Makbenas, und den Vater Gibeas. Und die Tochter Kalebs war Aksa.
50 These were sons of Caleb son of Hur, firstborn of Ephrathah: Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim,
Dies waren die Söhne Kalebs: Die Söhne [W. der Sohn; so auch Kap. 3,19. 21. 23;7,35] Hurs, des Erstgeborenen der Ephratha: Schobal, der Vater von Kirjath-Jearim;
51 Salma father of Beth-Lehem, Hareph father of Beth-Gader.
Salma, der Vater von Bethlehem; Hareph, der Vater von Beth-Gader.
52 And there are sons to Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim: Haroeh, half of the Menuhothite;
Und Schobal, der Vater von Kirjath-Jearim, hatte Söhne: Haroeh, Hazi-Hammenuchoth; [Die Hälfte von Menuchoth]
53 and the families of Kirjath-Jearim: the Ithrite, and the Puhite, and the Shumathite, and the Mishraite. The Zorathite and the Eshtaolite went out from these.
und die Geschlechter von Kirjath-Jearim waren: die Jithriter und die Puthiter und die Schumathiter und die Mischraiter; von diesen sind ausgegangen die Zorathiter und die Estauliter. -
54 Sons of Salma: Beth-Lehem, and the Netophathite, Atroth, Beth-Joab, and half of the Menuhothite, the Zorite;
Die Söhne Salmas: Bethlehem, und die Netophathiter, Ateroth-Beth-Joab, und Hazi-Hammanachti, [die Hälfte der Manachtiter] die Zoriter;
55 and the families of the scribes, the inhabitants of Jabez: Tirathites, Shimeathites, Suchathites. They [are] the Kenites, those coming of Hammath father of the house of Rechab.
und die Geschlechter der Schreiber, [O. Schriftgelehrten] welche Jabez bewohnten: die Tirathiter, die Schimathiter, die Sukathiter. Das sind die Keniter, die von Hammath, dem Vater des Hauses Rekab, herkommen.
