1 Chronicles 2
1 These [are] sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,

2 Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

3 Sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, three have been born to him of a daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, firstborn of Judah, is evil in the eyes of YHWH, and He puts him to death.
Fils de Juda: Er, Onan et Shéla. Ces trois lui naquirent de la fille de Shua, la Cananéenne. Er, premier-né de Juda, était méchant devant l'Éternel, et il le fit mourir.
4 And his daughter-in-law Tamar has borne Perez and Zerah to him. All the sons of Judah [are] five.

5 Sons of Perez: Hezron, and Hamul.
Fils de Pharets: Hetsron et Hamul.
6 And sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara; all of them five.

7 And sons of Carmi: Achar, troubler of Israel, who trespassed in the devoted thing.

8 And sons of Ethan: Azariah.

9 And sons of Hezron who were born to him: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.

10 And Ram begot Amminadab, and Amminadab begot Nahshon, prince of the sons of Judah;

11 and Nahshon begot Salma, and Salma begot Boaz,
Nahasshon engendra Salma. Salma engendra Booz.
12 and Boaz begot Obed, and Obed begot Jesse;
Booz engendra Obed. Obed engendra Isaï.
13 and Jesse begot his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third,
Isaï engendra Éliab son premier-né, Abinadab le second, Shimea le troisième,
14 Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
Nathanaël le quatrième, Raddaï le cinquième,
15 Ozem the sixth, David the seventh,

16 and their sisters Zeruiah and Abigail. And sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asah-El—three.

17 And Abigail has borne Amasa, and the father of Amasa [is] Jether the Ishmaelite.

18 And Caleb son of Hezron has begotten Azubah, Isshah, and Jerioth; and these [are] her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
Caleb, fils de Hetsron, eut des enfants d'Azuba, sa femme, et de Jérioth; ses fils furent Jésher, Shobab et Ardon.
19 And Azubah dies, and Caleb takes Ephrath to himself, and she bears Hur to him.
Azuba mourut; et Caleb prit pour femme Éphrath, qui lui enfanta Hur.
20 And Hur begot Uri, and Uri begot Bezaleel.
Hur engendra Uri, et Uri engendra Betsaléel.
21 And afterward Hezron has gone in to a daughter of Machir father of Gilead, and he has taken her, and he [is] a son of sixty years, and she bears Segub to him.
Après cela, Hetsron alla vers la fille de Makir, père de Galaad, et la prit, étant âgé de soixante ans; elle lui enfanta Ségub.
22 And Segub begot Jair, and he has twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead,
Ségub engendra Jaïr, qui eut vingt-trois villes au pays de Galaad.
23 and he takes Geshur and Aram, the small villages of Jair, from them, with Kenath and its small towns, sixty cities—all these [belonged to] the sons of Machir father of Gilead.
Les Gueshuriens et les Syriens leur prirent les bourgs de Jaïr, Kénath et les villes de son ressort, soixante villes. Tous ceux-là étaient enfants de Makir, père de Galaad.
24 And after the death of Hezron in Caleb-Ephratah, then the wife of Hezron, Abijah, even bears to him Asshur, father of Tekoa.
Après la mort de Hetsron, à Caleb-Éphratha, Abija, femme de Hetsron, lui enfanta Ashur, père de Thékoa.
25 And sons of Jerahmeel, firstborn of Hezron, are: the firstborn Ram, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.
Les fils de Jérachméel, premier-né de Hetsron, furent: Ram, le premier-né, Buna, Oren et Otsem, nés d'Achija.
26 And Jerahmeel has another wife, and her name [is] Atarah, she [is] mother of Onam.
Jérachméel eut une autre femme, nomée Atara, qui fut mère d'Onam.
27 And sons of Ram, firstborn of Jerahmeel, are Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
Les fils de Ram, premier-né de Jérachméel, furent Maats, Jamin et Éker.
28 And sons of Onam are Shammai and Jada. And sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
Les fils d'Onam furent: Shammaï et Jada. Fils de Shammaï: Nadab et Abishur.
29 And the name of the wife of Abishur [is] Abihail, and she bears Ahban and Molid to him.
Le nom de la femme d'Abishur était Abichaïl, qui lui enfanta Achban et Molid.
30 And sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim; and Seled dies without sons.
Fils de Nadab: Séled et Appaïm. Séled mourut sans enfants.
31 And sons of Appaim: Ishi. And sons of Ishi: Sheshan. And sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.
Fils d'Appaïm: Jishéï. Fils de Jishéï: Shéshan. Fils de Shéshan: Achlaï.
32 And sons of Jada, brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether dies without sons.
Fils de Jada, frère de Shammaï: Jéther et Jonathan. Jéther mourut sans enfants.
33 And sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were sons of Jerahmeel.
Fils de Jonathan: Péleth et Zaza. Ce furent là les enfants de Jérachméel.
34 And Sheshan had no sons, but daughters, and Sheshan has a servant, an Egyptian, and his name [is] Jarha,
Shéshan n'eut point de fils, mais il eut des filles. Il avait un esclave égyptien, nommé Jarcha.
35 and Sheshan gives his daughter to his servant Jarha for a wife, and she bears Attai to him;
Et Shéshan donna sa fille pour femme à Jarcha, son esclave, et elle lui enfanta Attaï.
36 and Attai begot Nathan, and Nathan begot Zabad,
Attaï engendra Nathan; Nathan engendra Zabad;
37 and Zabad begot Ephlal, and Ephlal begot Obed,
Zabad engendra Ephlal; Ephlal engendra Obed;
38 and Obed begot Jehu,
Obed engendra Jéhu; Jéhu engendra Azaria;
39 and Jehu begot Azariah, and Azariah begot Helez, and Helez begot Eleasah,
Azaria engendra Hélets; Hélets engendra Élasa;
40 and Eleasah begot Sismai, and Sismai begot Shallum,
Élasa engendra Sismaï; Sismaï engendra Shallum;
41 and Shallum begot Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begot Elishama.
Shallum engendra Jékamia; Jékamia engendra Élishama.
42 And sons of Caleb brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his firstborn, he [is] father of Ziph; and sons of Mareshah: Abi-Hebron.
Fils de Caleb, frère de Jérachméel: Mésha, son premier-né, qui fut père de Ziph, et les fils de Marésha, père d'Hébron.
43 And sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.

44 And Shema begot Raham father of Jorkoam, and Rekem begot Shammai.
Shéma engendra Racham, père de Jorkéam; et Rékem engendra Shammaï.
45 And a son of Shammai [is] Maon, and Maon [is] father of Beth-Zur.
Fils de Shammaï: Maon; et Maon fut père de Bethsur.
46 And Ephah concubine of Caleb bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begot Gazez.
Épha, concubine de Caleb, enfanta Haran, Motsa et Gazez. Haran engendra Gazez.
47 And sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshem, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
Fils de Jahdaï: Réguem, Jotham, Guéshan, Pélet, Épha et Shaaph.
48 The concubine of Caleb, Maachah, bore Sheber and Tirhanah;
Maaca, concubine de Caleb, enfanta Shéber et Thirchana.
49 and she bears Shaaph father of Madmannah, Sheva father of Machbenah, and father of Gibea; and a daughter of Caleb [is] Achsa.
Elle enfanta aussi Shaaph, père de Madmanna, Shéva, père de Macbéna et père de Guibea. La fille de Caleb était Acsa.
50 These were sons of Caleb son of Hur, firstborn of Ephrathah: Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim,
Ceux-ci furent fils de Caleb: Shobal, fils de Hur, premier-né d'Éphrata, et père de Kirjath-Jearim;
51 Salma father of Beth-Lehem, Hareph father of Beth-Gader.
Salma, père de Bethléhem; Hareph, père de Beth-Gader.
52 And there are sons to Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim: Haroeh, half of the Menuhothite;
Shobal, père de Kirjath-Jearim, eut des enfants: Haroë, Hatsi-Hamménuhoth.
53 and the families of Kirjath-Jearim: the Ithrite, and the Puhite, and the Shumathite, and the Mishraite. The Zorathite and the Eshtaolite went out from these.
Les familles de Kirjath-Jearim furent: les Jithriens, les Puthiens, les Shumathiens et les Mishraïens; de ceux-là sont sortis les Tsoreathiens et les Eshthaoliens.
54 Sons of Salma: Beth-Lehem, and the Netophathite, Atroth, Beth-Joab, and half of the Menuhothite, the Zorite;
Enfants de Salma: Bethléhem et les Nétophathiens, Atroth-Beth-Joab, Hatsi-Hammanachthi, les Tsoreïens,
55 and the families of the scribes, the inhabitants of Jabez: Tirathites, Shimeathites, Suchathites. They [are] the Kenites, those coming of Hammath father of the house of Rechab.
Et les familles des scribes qui habitaient à Jaebets, les Thireathiens, les Shimathiens, les Suchatiens. Ce sont les Kéniens, issus de Hamath, père de la maison de Récab.
