1 Chronicles 16
1 And they bring in the Ark of God, and set it up in the midst of the tent that David has stretched out for it, and they bring burnt-offerings and peace-offerings near before God;
Då de båro Guds ark in, satte de honom uti tabernaklet, som David honom beredt hade; och offrade bränneoffer och tackoffer för Gudi.
2 and David ceases from offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, and blesses the people in the Name of YHWH,
Och då David hade fullkomnat bränneoffren och tackoffren, välsignade han folket i Herrans Namn;
3 and gives a portion to every man of Israel, both man and woman: to each a cake of bread, and a measure of wine, and a grape-cake.
Och utskifte hvarjom och enom i Israel, både man och qvinno, ett stycke bröd, och kött, och ett mätt vin.
4 And he puts before the Ark of YHWH, those ministering from the Levites, even to make mention of, and to thank, and to give praise to YHWH, God of Israel:
Och han satte inför Herrans ark några Leviter till tjenare, att de skulle prisa, tacka och lofva Herran Israels Gud;
5 Asaph the head, and his second Zechariah; Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of psalteries, and with harps; and Asaph is sounding with cymbals;
Nämliga Assaph den första, Zacharia den andra, Jegiel, Semiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithia, Eliab, Benaja, ObedEdom; och Jegiel med psaltare och harpor; men Assaph med klingande cymbaler;
6 and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests [are] continually [sounding] with trumpets before the Ark of the Covenant of God.
Och Benaja och Jahasiel, Presterna, med trummeter, alltid för Guds förbunds ark.
7 On that day, at that time, David has given at the beginning to give thanks to YHWH by the hand of Asaph and his brothers:
På den tiden beställde David i förstone att tacka Herranom, genom Assaph och hans bröder:
8 “Give thanks to YHWH, call on His Name, Make His doings known among the peoples.
Tacker Herranom, prediker hans Namn; förkunner ibland folken hans verk.
9 Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him, Meditate on all His wonders.
Sjunger honom, speler, och taler om all hans under.
10 Boast yourselves in His Holy Name, The heart of those seeking YHWH rejoices.
Lofver hans helga Namn; deras hjerta fröjde sig, som söka Herran.
11 Seek YHWH and His strength, Seek His face continually.
Söker efter Herran, och efter hans magt; söker hans ansigte alltid.
12 Remember His wonders that He did, His signs, and the judgments of His mouth,
Tänker på hans under, som han gjort hafver; på hans under, och hans ord;
13 O seed of Israel, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!
I Israels hans tjenares säd, I Jacobs hans utkorades barn.
14 He [is] our God YHWH, His judgments [are] in all the earth.
Han är Herren vår Gud, han dömer i allo verldene.
15 Remember His covenant for all time, The word He commanded—To one thousand generations,
Kommer ihåg hans förbund evinnerliga; hvad han utlofvat hafver i tusende slägter;
16 Which He has made with Abraham, And His oath—to Isaac,
Hvilket han gjort hafver med Abraham, och hans ed med Isaac.
17 And He establishes it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel [for] a perpetual covenant,
Och han satte det Jacob till en rätt, och Israel till ett evigt förbund,
18 Saying, To you I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,
Och sade: Jag skall gifva dig Canaans land, edar arfvedels lott.
19 When you were few in number, As a little thing, and sojourners in it.
Då de få och ringa voro, och främlingar derinne;
20 And they go up and down, From nation to nation, And from a kingdom to another people.
Och de drogo ifrå det ena folket till det andra, och utur ett rike bort till ett annat folk;
21 He has not permitted any to oppress them, And reproves kings on their account:
Han lät ingen göra dem skada; och för deras skull straffade han Konungar;
22 Do not come against My anointed ones, And do no evil against My prophets.
Kommer icke vid mina smorda; och görer intet ondt mina Propheter.
23 Sing to YHWH, all the earth, Proclaim His salvation from day to day.
Sjunger Herranom all land; förkunner dageliga hans salighet.
24 Recount His glory among nations, His wonders among all the peoples.
Förtäljer ibland Hedningarna hans härlighet; och hans under ibland folken.
25 For great [is] YHWH, and greatly praised, And He [is] fearful above all gods.
Ty Herren är stor, och fast loflig; och underlig öfver alla gudar.
26 For all gods of the peoples [are] nothing, And YHWH has made the heavens.
Förty alle Hedningars gudar äro afgudar; men Herren hafver gjort himmelen.
27 Splendor and majesty [are] before Him, Strength and joy [are] in His place.
Det står härliga och kosteliga till för honom, och går krafteliga och gladeliga till i hans rum.
28 Ascribe to YHWH, you families of peoples, Ascribe to YHWH glory and strength.
Bärer fram Herranom, I folk; bärer fram Herranom äro och magt.
29 Ascribe to YHWH the glory of His Name, Lift up a present, and come before Him. Bow yourselves to YHWH, In the beauty of holiness.
Bärer fram Herrans Namne äro; bärer fram skänker, och kommer för honom, och tillbeder Herran i heligo prydelse.
30 Be pained before Him, all the earth; Also, the world is established, It is not moved!
All verlden frukte för honom; han hafver befäst jordena, så att hon intet röres.
31 The heavens rejoice, and the earth is glad, And they say among nations, YHWH has reigned!
Fröjde sig himmelen, och jorden vare glad; och man må säga ibland Hedningarna, att Herren är rådandes.
32 The sea roars, and its fullness, The field exults, and all that [is] in it,
Hafvet dåne, och hvad deruti är; och marken vare glad, och hvad deruppå är.
33 Then trees of the forest sing, From the presence of YHWH, For He has come to judge the earth!
Fröjde sig all trä i skogen för Herranom: ty han kommer till att döma jordena.
34 Give thanks to YHWH, for [He is] good, For His kindness [is] for all time,
Tacker Herranom, ty han är god, och hans barmhertighet varar evinnerliga.
35 And say, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us, and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks to Your Holy Name, To triumph in Your praise.
Och säger: Hjelp oss, Gud vår Frälsare, och församla oss, och hjelp oss ifrå Hedningarna, att vi måge tacka dino helgo Namne, och lofsäga dig.
36 Blessed [is] YHWH, God of Israel, From age to age”; And all the people say, “Amen,” and have given praise to YHWH.
Lofvad vare Herren Israels Gud, ifrån evighet till evighet; och allt folket säge Amen, och lofve Herran.
37 And he leaves there [those] of Asaph and of his brothers, before the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH, to minister before the Ark continually, according to the matter of a day in its day;
Alltså lät han der för Herrans förbunds ark Assaph och hans bröder, till att tjena inför arken alltid, och hvar dag i sitt dagsverk;
38 both Obed-Edom and their sixty-eight brothers, and Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and Hosah, for gatekeepers;
Men ObedEdom och hans bröder, åtta och sextio; och ObedEdom, Jeduthuns son, och Hosa till dörravaktare;
39 and Zadok the priest, and his brothers the priests, before the Dwelling Place of YHWH, in a high place that [is] in Gibeon,
Och Zadok Presten, och hans bröder Presterna, lät han inför Herrans tabernakel, på höjdene i Gibeon;
40 to cause burnt-offerings to ascend continually to YHWH on the altar of burnt-offering, morning and evening, and for all that is written in the Law of YHWH that He charged on Israel.
Att de dageliga skulle göra Herranom bränneoffer, uppå bränneoffrens altare, om morgon och afton, såsom skrifvet står uti Herrans lag, som han Israel budit hade;
41 And with them [are] Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of those chosen, who were defined by name, to give thanks to YHWH, for His kindness [is] for all time;
Och med dem Heman och Jeduthun, och de andra utvalda, som vid namn benämnde voro, till att tacka Herranom, att hans barmhertighet varar evinnerliga;
42 and with them—Heman and Jeduthun—[are] trumpets and cymbals for those sounding, and instruments of the song of God, and the sons of Jeduthun [are] at the gate.
Och med dem Heman och Jeduthun, med trummeter och cymbaler, till att klinga, och med Guds strängaspel. Men Jeduthuns söner gjorde han till dörravaktare.
43 And all the people go, each to his house, and David turns around to bless his house.
Alltså drog allt folket sin väg, hvar och en i sitt hus. Drog också David bort till att välsigna sitt hus.
