1 Chronicles 16
1 And they bring in the Ark of God, and set it up in the midst of the tent that David has stretched out for it, and they bring burnt-offerings and peace-offerings near before God;

2 and David ceases from offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, and blesses the people in the Name of YHWH,
Baada ya Daudi kumaliza kutoa hizo sadaka za kuteketezwa na hizo sadaka za amani, akawabariki watu katika jina la Bwana.
3 and gives a portion to every man of Israel, both man and woman: to each a cake of bread, and a measure of wine, and a grape-cake.
Kisha akamgawia kila Mwisraeli mwanaume na mwanamke mkate, andazi la tende na andazi la zabibu kavu.
4 And he puts before the Ark of YHWH, those ministering from the Levites, even to make mention of, and to thank, and to give praise to YHWH, God of Israel:
Akawaweka pia baadhi ya Walawi ili wahudumu mbele ya Sanduku la Bwana kufanya maombi, kumshukuru na kumsifu Bwana, Mungu wa Israeli:
5 Asaph the head, and his second Zechariah; Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of psalteries, and with harps; and Asaph is sounding with cymbals;
Asafu ndiye alikuwa mkuu wao, akisaidiwa na Zekaria, Yeieli, Shemiramothi, Yehieli, Matithia, Eliabu, Benaya, Obed-Edomu na Yeieli. Hawa ndio wangepiga zeze na vinubi, Asafu angepiga matoazi,
6 and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests [are] continually [sounding] with trumpets before the Ark of the Covenant of God.
nao Benaya na Yahazieli makuhani, ndio wangepiga tarumbeta mara kwa mara mbele ya Sanduku la Agano la Mungu.
7 On that day, at that time, David has given at the beginning to give thanks to YHWH by the hand of Asaph and his brothers:
Siku ile, kitu cha kwanza Daudi alichofanya ni kumkabidhi Asafu na wenzake zaburi hii ya shukrani kwa Bwana:
8 “Give thanks to YHWH, call on His Name, Make His doings known among the peoples.
Mshukuruni Bwana, liitieni jina lake; wajulisheni mataifa yale aliyoyatenda.
9 Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him, Meditate on all His wonders.
Mwimbieni yeye, mwimbieni yeye sifa; waambieni matendo yake yote ya ajabu.
10 Boast yourselves in His Holy Name, The heart of those seeking YHWH rejoices.
Lishangilieni jina lake takatifu; mioyo ya wale wamtafutao Bwana na ifurahi.
11 Seek YHWH and His strength, Seek His face continually.
Mtafuteni Bwana na nguvu zake; utafuteni uso wake siku zote.
12 Remember His wonders that He did, His signs, and the judgments of His mouth,
Kumbuka matendo ya ajabu aliyoyafanya, miujiza yake na hukumu alizozitamka,
13 O seed of Israel, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!
enyi wazao wa Israeli mtumishi wake, enyi wana wa Yakobo, wateule wake.
14 He [is] our God YHWH, His judgments [are] in all the earth.
Yeye ndiye Bwana Mungu wetu; hukumu zake zimo duniani pote.
15 Remember His covenant for all time, The word He commanded—To one thousand generations,
Hulikumbuka agano lake milele, neno ambalo aliamuru, kwa vizazi elfu,
16 Which He has made with Abraham, And His oath—to Isaac,
agano alilolifanya na Abrahamu, kiapo alichomwapia Isaki.
17 And He establishes it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel [for] a perpetual covenant,
Alilithibitisha kwa Yakobo kuwa amri, kwa Israeli liwe agano la milele:
18 Saying, To you I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,
“Nitakupa wewe nchi ya Kanaani kuwa sehemu utakayoirithi.”
19 When you were few in number, As a little thing, and sojourners in it.
Walipokuwa wachache kwa idadi, wachache sana na wageni ndani yake,
20 And they go up and down, From nation to nation, And from a kingdom to another people.
walitangatanga kutoka taifa moja hadi jingine, kutoka ufalme mmoja hadi mwingine.
21 He has not permitted any to oppress them, And reproves kings on their account:
Hakuruhusu mtu yeyote awaonee; kwa ajili yao aliwakemea wafalme, akisema:
22 Do not come against My anointed ones, And do no evil against My prophets.
“Msiwaguse niliowatia mafuta; msiwadhuru manabii wangu.”
23 Sing to YHWH, all the earth, Proclaim His salvation from day to day.
Mwimbieni Bwana dunia yote; tangazeni wokovu wake siku baada ya siku.
24 Recount His glory among nations, His wonders among all the peoples.
Tangazeni utukufu wake katikati ya mataifa, matendo yake ya ajabu miongoni mwa mataifa yote.
25 For great [is] YHWH, and greatly praised, And He [is] fearful above all gods.
Kwa kuwa Bwana ni mkuu, mwenye kustahili kusifiwa kuliko wote; yeye ni wa kuogopwa kuliko miungu yote.
26 For all gods of the peoples [are] nothing, And YHWH has made the heavens.
Kwa maana miungu yote ya mataifa ni sanamu, lakini Bwana aliziumba mbingu.
27 Splendor and majesty [are] before Him, Strength and joy [are] in His place.
Fahari na enzi viko mbele yake; nguvu na utukufu vimo patakatifu pake.
28 Ascribe to YHWH, you families of peoples, Ascribe to YHWH glory and strength.
Mpeni Bwana, enyi jamaa za mataifa, mpeni Bwana utukufu na nguvu,
29 Ascribe to YHWH the glory of His Name, Lift up a present, and come before Him. Bow yourselves to YHWH, In the beauty of holiness.
mpeni Bwana utukufu unaostahili jina lake. Leteni sadaka na mje katika nyua zake; mwabuduni Bwana katika uzuri wa utakatifu wake.
30 Be pained before Him, all the earth; Also, the world is established, It is not moved!
Dunia yote na itetemeke mbele zake! Ulimwengu ameuweka imara; hauwezi kusogezwa.
31 The heavens rejoice, and the earth is glad, And they say among nations, YHWH has reigned!
Mbingu na zishangilie, nchi na ifurahi; semeni katikati ya mataifa, “Bwana anatawala!”
32 The sea roars, and its fullness, The field exults, and all that [is] in it,
Bahari na ivume, na vyote vilivyomo ndani yake; mashamba na yashangilie, na vyote vilivyomo ndani yake.
33 Then trees of the forest sing, From the presence of YHWH, For He has come to judge the earth!
Kisha miti ya msituni itaimba, itaimba kwa furaha mbele za Bwana, kwa maana anakuja kuihukumu dunia.
34 Give thanks to YHWH, for [He is] good, For His kindness [is] for all time,
Mshukuruni Bwana kwa kuwa ni mwema; upendo wake wadumu milele.
35 And say, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us, and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks to Your Holy Name, To triumph in Your praise.
Mlilieni, “Ee Mungu Mwokozi wetu, tuokoe. Tukusanye tena na utukomboe kutoka kwa mataifa, ili tuweze kulishukuru jina lako takatifu, na kushangilia katika sifa zako.”
36 Blessed [is] YHWH, God of Israel, From age to age”; And all the people say, “Amen,” and have given praise to YHWH.
Atukuzwe Bwana, Mungu wa Israeli, tangu milele na hata milele. Nao watu wote wakasema, “Amen,” na “Msifuni Bwana.”
37 And he leaves there [those] of Asaph and of his brothers, before the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH, to minister before the Ark continually, according to the matter of a day in its day;
Daudi akamwacha Asafu na wenzake mbele ya Sanduku la Agano la Bwana ili wahudumu humo mara kwa mara, kulingana na mahitaji ya kila siku.
38 both Obed-Edom and their sixty-eight brothers, and Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and Hosah, for gatekeepers;
Pia akamwacha Obed-Edomu pamoja na wenzake sitini na wanane wahudumu pamoja nao. Obed-Edomu mwana wa Yeduthuni na pia Hosa walikuwa mabawabu wa lango.
39 and Zadok the priest, and his brothers the priests, before the Dwelling Place of YHWH, in a high place that [is] in Gibeon,
Daudi akamwacha kuhani Sadoki pamoja na makuhani wenzake mbele ya hema ya ibada ya Bwana katika mahali pa juu pa kuabudia huko Gibeoni
40 to cause burnt-offerings to ascend continually to YHWH on the altar of burnt-offering, morning and evening, and for all that is written in the Law of YHWH that He charged on Israel.
ili kutoa sadaka za kuteketezwa kwa Bwana kwenye madhabahu ya sadaka ya kuteketezwa mara kwa mara, asubuhi na jioni, sawasawa na kila kitu kilichoandikwa katika sheria ya Bwana ambayo alikuwa amempa Israeli.
41 And with them [are] Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of those chosen, who were defined by name, to give thanks to YHWH, for His kindness [is] for all time;
Waliohudumu pamoja nao walikuwa Hemani, Yeduthuni na wale wote waliochaguliwa na kutajwa kwa jina kumpa Bwana shukrani, “Kwa maana fadhili zake zadumu milele.”
42 and with them—Heman and Jeduthun—[are] trumpets and cymbals for those sounding, and instruments of the song of God, and the sons of Jeduthun [are] at the gate.
Hemani na Yeduthuni walikuwa na wajibu wa kupiga tarumbeta, matoazi na kutumia vyombo vingine kwa ajili ya nyimbo za sifa kwa Mungu. Wana wa Yeduthuni waliwekwa langoni.
43 And all the people go, each to his house, and David turns around to bless his house.
Kisha watu wote wakaondoka, kila mmoja akarudi nyumbani kwake, naye Daudi akarudi nyumbani kuibariki jamaa yake.
