< 1 Chronicles 16 >

1 And they bring in the Ark of God, and set it up in the midst of the tent that David has stretched out for it, and they bring burnt-offerings and peace-offerings near before God;

2 and David ceases from offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, and blesses the people in the Name of YHWH,
David mah hmai angbawnhaih hoi angdaeh angbawnhaih sak pacoengah, Angraeng ih ahmin hoiah tahamhoihaih to paek.
3 and gives a portion to every man of Israel, both man and woman: to each a cake of bread, and a measure of wine, and a grape-cake.
To pacoengah Israel nongpa nongpanawk boih khaeah, takaw phaek maeto, moi ngan maeto, misurthaih takaw karoem to a paek.
4 And he puts before the Ark of YHWH, those ministering from the Levites, even to make mention of, and to thank, and to give praise to YHWH, God of Israel:
Thoemto Levi kaminawk hanah loe, Angraeng lokkamhaih thingkhong hmaa ah toksak moe, Israel Angraeng Sithaw to saphaw pacoengah, anghoehaih lokthuihaih tok to a paek.
5 Asaph the head, and his second Zechariah; Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of psalteries, and with harps; and Asaph is sounding with cymbals;
Asaph loe lu koekah oh, hnetto haih ah Zekariah, anih pacoengah Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom cae to a suek; Jeiel loe aqui kapop katoeng hoi tamoinawk to kruek moe, Asaph mah cingceng to boh;
6 and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests [are] continually [sounding] with trumpets before the Ark of the Covenant of God.

7 On that day, at that time, David has given at the beginning to give thanks to YHWH by the hand of Asaph and his brothers:
To niah David mah Asaph hoi angmah ih nawkamyanawk khaeah, paek hmaloe ih anghoehaih hoi Angraeng saphawhaih saam laa to sak.
8 “Give thanks to YHWH, call on His Name, Make His doings known among the peoples.
Angraeng khaeah anghoehaih lok to thui oh, ahmin to kawk oh; a sak ih hmuennawk to kaminawk boih panoek o sak ah.
9 Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him, Meditate on all His wonders.
Anih khaeah laa to sah oh, anih saphawhaih laa to sah oh, a sak ih dawnrai hmuennawk to thui oh.
10 Boast yourselves in His Holy Name, The heart of those seeking YHWH rejoices.
Anih ih kaciim ahmin to pakoeh oh; Angraeng pakrong kaminawk ih palungthin loe anghoe nasoe.
11 Seek YHWH and His strength, Seek His face continually.
Angraeng hoi a thacakhaih to khen oh loe, anih ih mikhmai to khen o poe ah.
12 Remember His wonders that He did, His signs, and the judgments of His mouth,
A sak ih dawnrai hmuennawk hoi anghmang thok hmuennawk, a thuih ih lokcaekhaihnawk to panoek oh.
13 O seed of Israel, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!
Aw a tamna Israel caanawk, Jakob ih caanawk, a qoih ih kaminawk.
14 He [is] our God YHWH, His judgments [are] in all the earth.
Anih loe aicae ih Angraeng Sithaw ah oh; a lokcaekhaih loe long nui boih ah oh.
15 Remember His covenant for all time, The word He commanded—To one thousand generations,
Anih loe a sak ih lokmaihaih to panoek poe moe, a paek ih lok to caanawk dung khoek to panoek;
16 Which He has made with Abraham, And His oath—to Isaac,
Abraham hoi sak ih lokmaihaih, Isaak hoi sak ih lokmaihaih to panoek poe;
17 And He establishes it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel [for] a perpetual covenant,
Jakob khaeah lok takroekhaih to caksak moe, Israel khaeah dungzan lokmaihaih to a caksak.
18 Saying, To you I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,
Na toep o han koi qawk ah kaom, Kanaan prae to kang paek han, tiah thuih.
19 When you were few in number, As a little thing, and sojourners in it.
Nangcae loe nazetto doeh na om o ai, kami zetta ni na oh o, to prae thungah angvin ah ni na oh o.
20 And they go up and down, From nation to nation, And from a kingdom to another people.
Nihcae loe prae maeto khaeah caeh o moe, kami maeto hoi maeto khaeah ah amhet o.
21 He has not permitted any to oppress them, And reproves kings on their account:
Nihcae to mi mah doeh pacaekthlaeksak ai, nihcae pongah siangpahrangnawk to a zoeh.
22 Do not come against My anointed ones, And do no evil against My prophets.
Situi ka bawh ih kaminawk hae sui hmah; kai ih tahmaanawk to pacaekthlaek o hmah, tiah a naa.
23 Sing to YHWH, all the earth, Proclaim His salvation from day to day.
Long kaminawk boih, Angraeng khaeah laasah oh; nito pacoeng nito a pahlonghaih to thui oh.
24 Recount His glory among nations, His wonders among all the peoples.
A lensawkhaih to Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk khaeah thui oh loe, a sak ih dawnrai hmuen to prae kaminawk boih khaeah taphong oh.
25 For great [is] YHWH, and greatly praised, And He [is] fearful above all gods.
Angraeng loe lensawk moe, pakoeh han krak; sithawnawk boih pongah doeh zitthoh kue.
26 For all gods of the peoples [are] nothing, And YHWH has made the heavens.
Prae kalah kaminawk ih sithaw loe sakcop ih krang rumram tok ni; toe Angraeng mah loe vannawk to sak.
27 Splendor and majesty [are] before Him, Strength and joy [are] in His place.
Anih hmaa ah lensawkhaih hoi pakoehhaih to oh moe, anih ohhaih ahmuen ah loe anghoehaih hoi thacakhaih to oh.
28 Ascribe to YHWH, you families of peoples, Ascribe to YHWH glory and strength.
Angraeng khaeah paek oh, prae boih ih canawknawk, Angraeng khaeah lensawkhaih hoi thacakhaih to paek oh.
29 Ascribe to YHWH the glory of His Name, Lift up a present, and come before Him. Bow yourselves to YHWH, In the beauty of holiness.
Angraeng ih ahmin loe lensawk, tiah thui oh; a hmaa ah angzo oh loe, hmuen to paek oh; ciimcai hmuen hoiah Angraeng to saphaw oh.
30 Be pained before Him, all the earth; Also, the world is established, It is not moved!
Long boih, a hmaa ah tasoeh oh; long loe kacakah angdoe tih, angthui mak ai.
31 The heavens rejoice, and the earth is glad, And they say among nations, YHWH has reigned!
Vannawk anghoe o nasoe loe, long doeh anghoe nasoe; prae kaminawk boih khaeah, Angraeng mah uk, tiah thui o nasoe.
32 The sea roars, and its fullness, The field exults, and all that [is] in it,
Tuipui hoi a thungah kaom hmuennawk mah lok tacawt o sak nasoe loe, lawk thungah kaom hmuennawk boih, anghoe o nasoe.
33 Then trees of the forest sing, From the presence of YHWH, For He has come to judge the earth!
Anih loe long lokcaek hanah angzoh pongah, taw ih thingnawk mah laa to sah o tih.
34 Give thanks to YHWH, for [He is] good, For His kindness [is] for all time,
Angraeng loe hoih pongah, anih khaeah anghoehaih lok to thui oh; anih tahmenhaih loe dungzan khoek to cak.
35 And say, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us, and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks to Your Holy Name, To triumph in Your praise.
Kaciim na hmin to ka pakoeh o moe, nang saphawhaih ah kam oek o thai hanah, Na pahlong ah, Aw Sithaw kaicae pahlongkung! Kaicae hae nawnto amkhuengsak loe, Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk thung hoiah na pahlong ah, tiah hang oh.
36 Blessed [is] YHWH, God of Israel, From age to age”; And all the people say, “Amen,” and have given praise to YHWH.
Israel Angraeg Sithaw loe dungzan hoi dungzan khoek to tahamhoihaih om nasoe, tiah thuih naah, kaminawk boih mah Amen, Angraeng loe saphaw oh, tiah thuih o.
37 And he leaves there [those] of Asaph and of his brothers, before the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH, to minister before the Ark continually, according to the matter of a day in its day;
David mah Asaph hoi angmah ih nawkamyanawk to Angraeng lokkamhaih thingkhong hmaa ah, ni thokkruek toksak hanah caehtaak;
38 both Obed-Edom and their sixty-eight brothers, and Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and Hosah, for gatekeepers;
Obed-Edom loe angmah ih nawkamya qui taruk, tazettonawk to nihcae bomkung ah oh o sak moe, Jeduthun capa Obed-Edom hoi Hosah loe khongkha toepkung ah oh hoi.
39 and Zadok the priest, and his brothers the priests, before the Dwelling Place of YHWH, in a high place that [is] in Gibeon,
David mah qaima Zadok hoi angmah ih nawkamya qaimanawk to, Gibeon ih hmuensang hoi Angraeng ih kahni im ah caehtaak,
40 to cause burnt-offerings to ascend continually to YHWH on the altar of burnt-offering, morning and evening, and for all that is written in the Law of YHWH that He charged on Israel.
Angraeng khaeah aduem akhawn, hmaicam nuiah hmai angbawnhaih to sak moe, Israel kaminawk khaeah paek ih, cabu thungah tarik tangcae Angraeng ih kaalok baktih toengah, angbawnhaih sak o poe hanah a caehtaak.
41 And with them [are] Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of those chosen, who were defined by name, to give thanks to YHWH, for His kindness [is] for all time;
Angraeng tahmenhaih loe dungzan khoek to cak pongah, Angraeng khaeah anghoehaih lawkthuih hanah, nihcae hoi nawnto kaom kaminawk hoi nawnto Heman hoi Jeduthun pacoengah, qoih moe, ahmin lak ih kaminawk doeh oh o;
42 and with them—Heman and Jeduthun—[are] trumpets and cymbals for those sounding, and instruments of the song of God, and the sons of Jeduthun [are] at the gate.
Heman hoi Jeduthun loe mongkah, cingceng hoi Sithaw ih katoeng kruekhaih bangah toksahkung ah oh hoi. Jeduthun ih caanawk loe khongkha toepkung ah oh o.
43 And all the people go, each to his house, and David turns around to bless his house.
To pacoengah kaminawk boih angmacae im ah amlaem o; to tiah David doeh angmah ih imthung takoh tahamhoihaih paek hanah amlaem toeng.
