1 Chronicles 16
1 And they bring in the Ark of God, and set it up in the midst of the tent that David has stretched out for it, and they bring burnt-offerings and peace-offerings near before God;
| ثُمَّ أَدْخَلُوا تَابُوتَ اللهِ إِلَى الْخَيْمَةِ الَّتِي نَصَبَهَا دَاوُدُ، وَوَضَعُوهُ فِي وَسَطِهَا وَقَرَّبُوا مُحْرَقَاتٍ وَذَبَائِحَ سَلامٍ لِلهِ. | ١ |
2 and David ceases from offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, and blesses the people in the Name of YHWH,
| وَبَعْدَ أَنِ انْتَهَى دَاوُدُ مِنْ تَقْدِيمِ الْمُحْرَقَاتِ وَذَبَائِحِ السَّلامِ بَارَكَ الشَّعْبَ بِاسْمِ الرَّبِّ. | ٢ |
3 and gives a portion to every man of Israel, both man and woman: to each a cake of bread, and a measure of wine, and a grape-cake.
| وَوَزَّعَ عَلَى كُلِّ الإِسْرَائِيلِيِّينَ مِنْ رِجَالٍ وَنِسَاءٍ وَسَائِرِ الْحَاضِرِينَ رَغِيفَ خُبْزٍ وَكَأْسَ خَمْرٍ وَقُرْصَ زَبِيبٍ. | ٣ |
4 And he puts before the Ark of YHWH, those ministering from the Levites, even to make mention of, and to thank, and to give praise to YHWH, God of Israel:
| وَعَيَّنَ دَاوُدُ عَدَداً مِنَ اللّاوِيِّينَ لِيَقُومُوا بِالْخِدْمَةِ أَمَامَ تَابُوتِ الرَّبِّ وَلِرَفْعِ التَّضَرُّعَاتِ وَتَقْدِيمِ الشُّكْرِ وَالتَّسْبِيحِ لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِ إِسْرَائِيلَ. | ٤ |
5 Asaph the head, and his second Zechariah; Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of psalteries, and with harps; and Asaph is sounding with cymbals;
| وَجَعَلَ آسَافَ رَئِيساً عَلَيْهِمْ وَزَكَرِيَّا مُعَاوِناً لَهُ، وَكَانَ يَعِيئِيلُ وَشَمِيرَامُوثُ وَيَحِيئِيلُ وَمَتَّثْيَا وَأَلِيآبُ وَبَنَايَا وَعُوِبِيدُ أَدُومَ وَيَعِيئِيلُ يَعْزِفُونَ عَلَى الرَّبَابِ وَالأَعْوَادِ، أَمَّا آسَافُ فَكَانَ يَعْزِفُ عَلَى الصُّنُوجِ. | ٥ |
6 and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests [are] continually [sounding] with trumpets before the Ark of the Covenant of God.
| فِي حِينِ كَانَ بَنَايَا وَيَحْزِيئِيلُ الْكَاهِنَانِ يَنْفُخَانِ بِالأَبْوَاقِ دَائِماً أَمَامَ تَابُوتِ عَهْدِ الرَّبِّ. | ٦ |
7 On that day, at that time, David has given at the beginning to give thanks to YHWH by the hand of Asaph and his brothers:
| وَكَانَتْ هَذِهِ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ يُسَبَّحُ فِيهَا الرَّبُّ بِالْغِنَاءِ (فِي الْخَيْمَةِ) وَقَدْ عَهِدَ دَاوُدُ بِذَلِكَ إِلى آسَافَ وَرِفَاقِهِ: | ٧ |
8 “Give thanks to YHWH, call on His Name, Make His doings known among the peoples.
| قَدِّمُوا الشُّكْرَ لِلرَّبِّ؛ ادْعُوا بِاسْمِهِ. عَرِّفُوا بِأَفْعَالِهِ بَيْنَ الشُّعُوبِ. | ٨ |
9 Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him, Meditate on all His wonders.
| غَنُّوا لَهُ؛ اشْدُوا لَهُ؛ حَدِّثُوا بِكُلِّ عَجَائِبِهِ. | ٩ |
10 Boast yourselves in His Holy Name, The heart of those seeking YHWH rejoices.
| تَبَاهَوْا بِاسْمِهِ القُدُّوسِ، لِتَفْرَحْ قُلُوبُ طَالِبِي الرَّبِّ. | ١٠ |
11 Seek YHWH and His strength, Seek His face continually.
| اطْلُبُوا الرَّبَّ وَقُوَّتَهُ؛ الْتَمِسُوا وَجْهَهُ دَائِماً. | ١١ |
12 Remember His wonders that He did, His signs, and the judgments of His mouth,
| اذْكُرُوا عَجَائِبَهُ الَّتِي صَنَعَ، مُعْجِزَاتِهِ وَأَحْكَامَهُ الَّتِي نَطَقَ بِها | ١٢ |
13 O seed of Israel, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!
| يَا ذُرِّيَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَبْدِهِ، يَا بَنِي يَعْقُوبَ الَّذِينَ اخْتَارَهُمْ | ١٣ |
14 He [is] our God YHWH, His judgments [are] in all the earth.
| هُوَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا، أَحْكَامُهُ تَمْلأُ الأَرْضَ كُلَّهَا | ١٤ |
15 Remember His covenant for all time, The word He commanded—To one thousand generations,
| لَمْ يَنْسَ عَهْدَهُ قَطُّ وَلا وَعْدَهُ الَّذِي قَطَعَهُ إِلَى أَلْفِ جِيلٍ، | ١٥ |
16 Which He has made with Abraham, And His oath—to Isaac,
| الْعَهْدَ الَّذِي أَبْرَمَهُ مَعَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ؛ وَالْقَسَمَ الَّذِي أَقْسَمَ بِهِ لإِسْحَاقَ | ١٦ |
17 And He establishes it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel [for] a perpetual covenant,
| ثُمَّ ثَبَّتَهُ لِيَعْقُوبَ فَرِيضَةً؛ وَلإِسْرَائِيلَ مِيثَاقاً أَبَدِيًّا | ١٧ |
18 Saying, To you I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,
| قَائِلاً: لَكَ أُعْطِي أَرْضَ كَنْعَانَ نَصِيبَ مِيرَاثٍ لَكُمْ | ١٨ |
19 When you were few in number, As a little thing, and sojourners in it.
| إذْ كَانُوا قِلَّةً بَعْدُ؛ نَفَراً ضَئِيلاً مُتَغَرِّبِينَ فِي الأَرْضِ. | ١٩ |
20 And they go up and down, From nation to nation, And from a kingdom to another people.
| مُتَنَقِّلِينَ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ إِلَى أُمَّةٍ وَمِنْ مَمْلَكَةٍ إِلَى أُخْرَى | ٢٠ |
21 He has not permitted any to oppress them, And reproves kings on their account:
| فَلَمْ يَدَعْ أَيَّ إِنْسَانٍ يَظْلِمُهُمْ بَلْ وَبَّخَ مُلُوكاً مِنْ أَجْلِهِمْ | ٢١ |
22 Do not come against My anointed ones, And do no evil against My prophets.
| قَائِلاً: لَا تَمَسُّوا مُسَحَائِي، وَلا تُؤْذُوا أَنْبِيَائِي. | ٢٢ |
23 Sing to YHWH, all the earth, Proclaim His salvation from day to day.
| غَنُّوا لِلرَّبِّ يَا كُلَّ شُعُوبِ الأَرْضِ، خَبِّرُوا بِخَلاصِهِ مِنْ يَوْمٍ إِلَى يَوْمٍ. | ٢٣ |
24 Recount His glory among nations, His wonders among all the peoples.
| أَعْلِنُوا مَجْدَهُ بَيْنَ الأُمَمِ؛ وَعَجَائِبَهُ بَيْنَ الشُّعُوبِ كُلِّهَا | ٢٤ |
25 For great [is] YHWH, and greatly praised, And He [is] fearful above all gods.
| فَإِنَّ الرَّبَّ عَظِيمٌ وَجَدِيرٌ بِكُلِّ حَمْدٍ. هُوَ مَرْهُوبٌ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ جَمِيعِ الآلِهَةِ. | ٢٥ |
26 For all gods of the peoples [are] nothing, And YHWH has made the heavens.
| لأَنَّ كُلَّ آلِهَةِ الأُمَمِ أَصْنَامٌ، أَمَّا الرَّبُّ فَهُوَ صَانِعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ. | ٢٦ |
27 Splendor and majesty [are] before Him, Strength and joy [are] in His place.
| الْجَلالُ وَالْبَهَاءُ أَمَامَهُ، وَالْقُوَّةُ وَالْجَمَالُ فِي مَقْدِسِهِ. | ٢٧ |
28 Ascribe to YHWH, you families of peoples, Ascribe to YHWH glory and strength.
| قَدِّمُوا لِلرَّبِّ يَا جَمِيعَ الشُّعُوبِ، قَدِّمُوا لِلرَّبِّ مَجْداً وَقُوَّةً. | ٢٨ |
29 Ascribe to YHWH the glory of His Name, Lift up a present, and come before Him. Bow yourselves to YHWH, In the beauty of holiness.
| قَدِّمُوا لِلرَّبِّ الْمَجْدَ الْوَاجِبَ لاِسْمِهِ، أَحْضِرُوا تَقْدِمَةً وَتَعَالَوْا وَامْثُلُوا فِي حَضْرَتِهِ، اسْجُدُوا لَهُ فِي زِينَةٍ مُقَدَّسَةٍ. | ٢٩ |
30 Be pained before Him, all the earth; Also, the world is established, It is not moved!
| ارْتَعِدِي أَمَامَهُ يَا كُلَّ الأَرْضِ، هُوَذَا الأَرْضُ قَدِ اسْتَقَرَّتْ ثَابِتَةً. | ٣٠ |
31 The heavens rejoice, and the earth is glad, And they say among nations, YHWH has reigned!
| لِتَفْرَحِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَلْتَبْتَهِجِ الأَرْضُ وَلْيُذَعْ بَيْنَ الأُمَمِ أَنَّ الرَّبَّ قَدْ مَلَكَ. | ٣١ |
32 The sea roars, and its fullness, The field exults, and all that [is] in it,
| لِيَعِجَّ الْبَحْرُ وَكُلُّ مَا يَحْوِيهِ، لِيَتَهَلَّلِ الْحَقْلُ وَكُلُّ مَا فِيهِ. | ٣٢ |
33 Then trees of the forest sing, From the presence of YHWH, For He has come to judge the earth!
| عِنْدَئِذٍ تَتَرَنَّمُ أَشْجَارُ الْغَابَةِ فِي حَضْرَةِ الرَّبِّ لأَنَّهُ جَاءَ لِيَدِينَ الأَرْضَ. | ٣٣ |
34 Give thanks to YHWH, for [He is] good, For His kindness [is] for all time,
| احْمَدُوا الرَّبَّ لأَنَّهُ صَالِحٌ وَرَحْمَتَهُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ تَدُومُ. | ٣٤ |
35 And say, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us, and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks to Your Holy Name, To triumph in Your praise.
| قُولُوا: أَنْقِذْنَا يَا إِلَهَ خَلاصِنَا، وَاجْمَعْ شَمْلَنَا مِنْ بَيْنِ الأُمَمِ وَخَلِّصْنَا فَنَرْفَعَ الشُّكْرَ لاِسْمِكَ الْقُدُّوسِ وَنَفْتَخِرَ بِتَسْبِيحِكَ. | ٣٥ |
36 Blessed [is] YHWH, God of Israel, From age to age”; And all the people say, “Amen,” and have given praise to YHWH.
| مُبَارَكٌ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُ إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنَ الأَزَلِ إِلَى الأَبَدِ. فَأَجَابَ كُلُّ الشَّعْبِ: «آمِين»، وَسَبَّحُوا الرَّبَّ. | ٣٦ |
37 And he leaves there [those] of Asaph and of his brothers, before the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH, to minister before the Ark continually, according to the matter of a day in its day;
| وَكَلَّفَ دَاوُدُ آسَافَ وَرِفَاقَهُ بِالْقِيَامِ بِالْخِدْمَةِ الْيَوْمِيَّةِ أَمَامَ تَابُوتِ عَهْدِ الرَّبِّ، | ٣٧ |
38 both Obed-Edom and their sixty-eight brothers, and Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and Hosah, for gatekeepers;
| وَعَهِدَ إِلَى عُوبِيدَ أَدُومَ بْنِ يَدِيثُونَ وَحُوسَةَ وَرِفَاقِهِمِ الثَّمَانِيَةِ وَالسِّتِّينَ بِحِرَاسَةِ التَّابُوتِ. | ٣٨ |
39 and Zadok the priest, and his brothers the priests, before the Dwelling Place of YHWH, in a high place that [is] in Gibeon,
| وَأَوْكَلَ إِلَى صَادُوقَ الْكَاهِنِ وَرِفَاقِهِ الْكَهَنَةِ خِدْمَةَ مَسْكَنِ الرَّبِّ الْقَدِيمِ الْقَائِمِ عَلَى مُرْتَفَعَةِ جِبْعُونَ، | ٣٩ |
40 to cause burnt-offerings to ascend continually to YHWH on the altar of burnt-offering, morning and evening, and for all that is written in the Law of YHWH that He charged on Israel.
| لِيُقَرِّبُوا عَلَى مَذْبَحِ الْمُحْرَقَةِ قَرَابِينَ لِلرَّبِّ بِصُورَةٍ دَائِمَةٍ فِي كُلِّ صَبَاحٍ وَمَسَاءٍ، كَمَا هُوَ مُدَوَّنٌ فِي شَرِيعَةِ الرَّبِّ الَّتِي أَمَرَ بِها إِسْرَائِيلَ. | ٤٠ |
41 And with them [are] Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of those chosen, who were defined by name, to give thanks to YHWH, for His kindness [is] for all time;
| وَأَضَافَ إِلَيْهِمْ هَيْمَانَ وَيَدُوثُونَ وَسَائِرَ الْمُخْتَارِينَ الَّذِينَ وَرَدَتْ أَسْمَاؤُهُمْ لِيُمَجِّدُوا الرَّبَّ، لأَنَّ رَحْمَتَهُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ تَدُومُ. | ٤١ |
42 and with them—Heman and Jeduthun—[are] trumpets and cymbals for those sounding, and instruments of the song of God, and the sons of Jeduthun [are] at the gate.
| فَكَانَ هَيْمَانُ وَيَدُوثُونُ يَنْفُخَانِ بِالأَبْوَاقِ وَيَعْزِفَانِ عَلَى الصُّنُوجِ وَسِوَاهَا مِنْ آلاتِ غِنَاءٍ لِلهِ، كَمَا قَامَ أَبْنَاءُ يَدُوثُونَ بِالْحِرَاسَةِ. | ٤٢ |
43 And all the people go, each to his house, and David turns around to bless his house.
| ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الشَّعْبِ إِلَى مَنْزِلِهِ وَعَادَ دَاوُدُ لِيُبَارِكَ أَهْلَ بَيْتِهِ. | ٤٣ |
