1 Chronicles 12
1 And these [are] those coming to David at Ziklag, while shut up because of Saul son of Kish, and they [are] among the mighty ones, helping the battle,
Namoonni kunneen warra yeroo inni sababii Saaʼol ilma Qiish sanaatiif asii fi achi sochoʼuu dadhabetti Siiqlaagitti gara Daawit dhufanii dha. Isaanis loltoota jajjaboo kanneen lola irratti isa gargaaran keessaa tokkoo dha;
2 armed with bow, right and left handed, with stones, and with arrows, with bows, of the brothers of Saul, of Benjamin.
isaan warra iddaa qabatanii harka mirgaatiin yookaan harka bitaatiin xiyya darbachuu yookaan dhagaa furrisuu dandaʼanii dha; isaanis gosa Beniyaam keessaa warra Saaʼoliif firootaa dhiigaa taʼanii dha.
3 The head [is] Ahiezer, and Joash, sons of Shemaab the Gibeathite, and Jeziel, and Pelet, sons of Azmaveth, and Berachah, and Jehu the Antothite,
Ahiiʼezer hangafa isaanii ture; sana booddee immoo Yooʼaashitu ture; lamaan isaanii iyyuu ilmaan Shemaaʼaa namicha Gibeʼaa sanaa turan. Ilmaan Azmaawet Yiziiʼeelii fi Phelet, Beraakiyaa, Yehuu namicha Anaatoot,
4 and Ishmaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty one among the thirty, and over the thirty, and Jeremiah, and Jahaziel, and Johanan, and Josabad the Gederathite.
Yishmaʼiyaa namichi Gibeʼoonii sun jara Soddomman keessaa nama jabaa fi hoogganaa Soddomman isaanii ture; Ermiyaas, Yahiziiʼeel, Yoohaanaan, Yoozaabaad namicha Gedeeraa,
5 Eluzai, and Jerimoth, and Bealiah, and Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite;
Elʼuuzay, Yeriimooti, Beʼaaliyaa, Shemaariyaa, Shefaaxiyaa namicha Haruufaa,
6 Elkanah, and Jesiah, and Azareel, and Joezer, and Jashobeam the Korahites,
Elqaanaa, Yishiyaa, Azariʼeel, Yoozerii fi Yaashobiʼaam jarreen gosa Qooraahi,
7 and Joelah, and Zebadiah, sons of Jeroham of Gedor.
Yooʼelaa fi Zebaadiyaa ilmaan Yeroohaam namicha Gedoor.
8 And of the Gadite there have been separated to David, to the fortress, to the wilderness, mighty men of valor, men of the host for battle, setting in array buckler and spear, and their faces [are as] the face of the lion, and as roes on the mountains for speed:
Yeroo Daawit gammoojjiitti daʼoo keessa turetti namoonni gosa Gaad tokko tokko dhufanii isaatti ni dabalaman. Isaanis loltoota ciccimoo gaachanaa fi eeboo qabachuu dandaʼan kanneen waraanaaf qophaaʼan turan. Fuulli isaanii fuula leencaa fakkaata ture; isaan akkuma kuruphee tulluu gubbaa saffistoota turan.
9 Ezer the head, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third,
Eezer hoogganaa isaanii ture; Obaadiyaan lamaffaa, Eliiyaab sadaffaa,
10 Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth,
Mishmanaan afuraffaa, Ermiyaas shanaffaa,
11 Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,
Ataayi jaʼaffaa, Eliiʼeel torbaffaa,
12 Johanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,
Yoohaanaan saddeettaffaa, Elzaabaad saglaffaa,
13 Jeremiah the tenth, Machbannai the eleventh.
Ermiyaas kurnaffaa, Makibanaayi kudha tokkoffaa ture.
14 These [are] of the sons of Gad, heads of the host; the least [is] one of one hundred, and the greatest, of one thousand;
Jarreen gosa Gaad kunneen ajajjoota loltootaa turan; isaan keessaa inni xinnaan akka ajajaa nama dhibbaatti, inni guddaan immoo akka ajajaa nama kumaatti hedama ture.
15 these [are] they who have passed over the Jordan in the first month—and it is full over all its banks—and cause all [those in] the valley to flee to the east and to the west.
Warri jiʼa jalqabaatti yeroo lagni Yordaanos guutee ededa isaa hunda irra dhangalaʼutti ceʼanii akka namoonni sululicha keessa jiraachaa turan gara baʼa biiftuutii fi gara lixa biiftuutti baqatan godhan namootuma kanneen turan.
16 And [some] from the sons of Benjamin and Judah came to David at the stronghold,
Namoonni Beniyaamiitii fi Yihuudaa tokko tokkos Daawit bira gara daʼannoo isaa ni dhufan.
17 and David goes out before them, and answers and says to them, “If you have come to me for peace, to help me, I have a heart to unite with you; and if to betray me to my adversaries—without violence in my hands—the God of our fathers sees and reproves.”
Daawitis isaan simachuudhaaf gad baʼee akkana jedheen; “Isin yoo na gargaaruudhaaf jettanii nagaadhaan dhuftanii jiraattan, ani ofitti isin dabalachuudhaaf qophaaʼaa dha. 18 And the Spirit has clothed Amasai, head of the captains: “To you, O David, and with you, O son of Jesse—peace! Peace to you, and peace to your helper, for your God has helped you”; and David receives them, and puts them among the heads of the troop.
Ergasiis Hafuurri Qulqulluun Amaasaayi hoogganaa namoota Soddomman sanaa irra buʼe; innis akkana jedhe: “Yaa Daawit, nu kan kee ti! Yaa ilma Isseey, nu suma wajjin jirra! 19 And [some] from Manasseh have defected to David in his coming with the Philistines against Israel to battle—and they did not help them, for by counsel the princes of the Philistines sent him away, saying, “He defects with our heads to his master Saul.”
Yeroo Daawit Saaʼolin loluuf jedhee Filisxeemota wajjin duuletti namoonni Minaasee tokko tokko fottoqanii gara Daawititti ni goran. 20 In his going to Ziglag there have fallen to him from Manasseh: Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zillthai, heads of the thousands who [are] of Manasseh;
Yeroo Daawit gara Siiqlaag deemetti namoonni Minaasee warri fottoqanii gara isaa goran kanneenii dha: Adinaahi, Yoozaabaad, Yediiʼeel, Miikaaʼel, Yoozaabaad, Eliihuu fi Ziletaayi; isaan kunneen gosa Minaasee keessatti ajajjuuwwan kumaa turan.
21 and they have helped with David over the troop, for all of them [are] mighty men of valor, and they are captains in the host,
Isaanis balaa buuftota dhaʼuu irratti Daawitin ni gargaaran; hundi isaanii loltoota jajjaboo fi ajajjoota loltoota isaa turaniitii.
22 for at that time, day by day, they come to David to help him, until it is a great camp, like a camp of God.
Hamma inni loltoota guddaa akka loltoota Waaqaa qabaatutti, namoonni Daawitin gargaaruudhaaf guyyaa guyyaadhaan gara isaa dhufaa ture.
23 And these [are] the numbers of the head, of the armed men of the host; they have come to David at Hebron to turn around the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the mouth of YHWH.
Baayʼinni namoota lolaaf hidhatanii akkuma Waaqayyo dubbatee turetti mootummaa Saaʼol gara Daawitiitti dabarsuudhaaf jedhanii Daawit bira gara Kebroonii dhufanii kanneenii dha:
24 The sons of Judah, carrying buckler and spear, [are] six thousand and eight hundred, armed ones of the host.

25 Of the sons of Simeon, mighty men of valor for the host, [are] seven thousand and one hundred.
namoonni Simiʼoonii loltoonni waraanaaf qophaaʼan 7,100;
26 Of the sons of Levi [are] four thousand and six hundred;
namoonni Lewwii 4,600;
27 and Jehoiada [is] the leader of the Aaronite, and with him [are] three thousand and seven hundred,
Yehooyaadaan hoogganaa maatii Aroon ture; namoonni 3,700 isa wajjin turan;
28 and Zadok, a young man, a mighty man of valor, and of the house of his father [are] twenty-two heads.
Zaadoq dargaggeessa loltuu jagnaa sanaa fi maatii isaa keessaa ajajjoota waraanaa 22;
29 And of the sons of Benjamin, brothers of Saul, [are] three thousand, and until now their greater part are keeping the charge of the house of Saul.
namoonni Beniyaam kanneen firoota Saaʼolii taʼan 3,000; isaan keessaas hedduun isaanii hamma yeroo sanaatti mana Saaʼoliitiif amanamoo turan;
30 And of the sons of Ephraim [are] twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty men of valor, men of renown, according to the house of their fathers.
namoonni Efreem warri lolatti ciccimoo fi balbala isaanii keessatti bebeekamoo taʼan 20,800;
31 And of the half of the tribe of Manasseh [are] eighteen thousand, who have been defined by name, to come to cause David to reign.
walakkaa gosa Minaasee keessaa namoonni Daawitin mootii gochuudhaaf maqaan isaanii galmaaʼee dhufan 18,000;
32 And of the sons of Issachar, having understanding for the times, to know what Israel should do; their heads [are] two hundred, and all their brothers [are] at their command.
namoota Yisaakor keessaa warra haala yeroo hubatanii waan Israaʼeloonni gochuu qaban beekan hangafoota 200, firoota isaanii kanneen isaan jalatti bulan hunda wajjin;
33 Of Zebulun, going forth to the host, arranging battle with all instruments of battle, [are] fifty thousand, and keeping rank without a double heart.
namoota Zebuuloon keessaa loltoonni muuxannoo qaban warri meeshaa lolaa kamiin iyyuu loluuf qophaaʼan kanneen Daawitin gargaaruuf garaan isaanii tokko taʼe 50,000;
34 And of Naphtali, one thousand heads, and with them, with buckler and spear, [are] thirty-seven thousand.
namoota Niftaalem keessaa ajajjoota 1,000; namoota gaachanaa fi eeboo qabatan 37,000 wajjin;
35 And of the Danite, arranging battle, [are] twenty-eight thousand and six hundred.
namoota Daan kanneen lolaaf qophaaʼan 28,600;
36 And of Asher, going forth to the host, to arrange battle, [are] forty thousand.
namoota Aasheer keessaa loltoonni muuxannoo qaban kanneen lolaaf qophaaʼan 40,000;
37 And from beyond the Jordan, of the Reubenite, and of the Gadite, and of the half of the tribe of Manasseh, with all instruments of the host for battle, [are] one hundred and twenty thousand.
gama baʼa Yordaanosiitii namoota Ruubeen, namoota Gaadiitii fi walakkaa gosa Minaasee keessaa namoota miʼa lolaa kan gosa hundaa hidhatan 120,000.
38 All these [are] men of war, keeping rank—they have come to Hebron with a perfect heart, to cause David to reign over all Israel, and also all the rest of Israel [are] of one heart, to cause David to reign,

39 and they are there, with David, three days, eating and drinking, for their brothers have prepared for them.
Namoonnis sababii maatiin isaanii waan hunda isaaniif qopheessaniif nyaachaa dhugaa guyyaa sadii Daawit wajjin achi turan.
40 And also those near to them—to Issachar, and Zebulun, and Naphtali—are bringing in bread on donkeys, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen—food of fine flour, fig-cakes and grape-cakes, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep, in abundance, for joy [is] in Israel.
Akkasumas olloonni isaanii kanneen hamma Yisaakoriitti, Zebuuloonittii fi Niftaalemiitti jiran harrootatti, gaalawwanitti, gaangolii fi sangootatti nyaata feʼanii fidanii ni dhufan. Sababii Israaʼel keessa gammachuun guddaan tureefis daakuun, bixxilleen ija harbuutii fi bixxilleen ija wayinii, daadhiin wayinii, zayitiin, loonii fi hoolonni akka malee baayʼeen dhiʼeeffamanii turan.
