10 And Cush begot Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the land.

32 And sons of Keturah, Abraham’s concubine: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.

33 And sons of Midian: Ephah and Epher, and Enoch, and Abida, and Eldaah; all these [are] sons of Keturah.

34 And Abraham begets Isaac. Sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.

35 Sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
Enfants d’Esaü: Elifaz, Reouêl, Yeouch, Yâlam et Korah.
36 Sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.

37 Sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

38 And sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezar, and Dishan.

39 And sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam, and sister of Lotan [is] Timna.

40 Sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And sons of Zideon: Aiah and Anah.

41 The sons of Anah: Dishon. And sons of Dishon: Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

42 Sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zavan, Jakan. Sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.

43 And these [are] the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before the reigning of a king of the sons of Israel: Bela son of Beor, and the name of his city [is] Dinhabah.
Ce sont ici les rois qui régnèrent dans le pays d’Edom, avant qu’un roi régnât sur les enfants d’Israël: Béla, fils de Beor. Le nom de sa ville natale était Dinhaba.
44 And Bela dies, and Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrali reigns in his stead;

45 and Jobab dies, and Husham from the land of the Temanite reigns in his stead;

46 and Husham dies, and Hadad son of Bedad reigns in his stead (who strikes Midian in the field of Moab) and the name of his city [is] Avith;
Houcham étant mort, à sa place régna Hadad, fils de Bedad, qui défit Madiân dans la campagne de Moab. Le nom de sa ville était Avith.
47 and Hadad dies, and Samlah from Masrekah reigns in his stead;

48 and Samlah dies, and Shaul from Rehoboth of the River reigns in his stead;
Samla étant mort, à sa place régna Chaoul, de Rehoboth-sur-le-Fleuve.
49 and Shaul dies, and Ba‘al-Hanan son of Achbor reigns in his stead;
Chaoul étant mort, à sa place régna Baal-Hanân, fils d’Akhbor.
50 and Ba‘al-Hanan dies, and Hadad reigns in his stead, and the name of his city [is] Pai, and the name of his wife [is] Mehetabel daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-Zahab; Hadad also dies.
Baal-Hanân étant mort à sa place régna Hadad, dont la ville avait nom Pâï et dont la femme s’appelait Mehêtabel, fille de Matred, fille de Mê-Zahab.
51 And chiefs of Edom are: Chief Timnah, Chief Aliah, Chief Jetheth,
Hadad mourut, et voici quels furent les chefs d’Edom: le chef Timna, le chef Alva, le chef Yethêth,
52 Chief Aholibamah, Chief Elah, Chief Pinon,
le chef Oholibama, le chef Ela, le chef Pinôn,
53 Chief Kenaz, Chief Teman, Chief Mibzar,
le chef Kenaz, le chef Têmân, le chef Mibçar,
54 Chief Magdiel, Chief Iram. These [are] chiefs of Edom.
