Zephaniah 3
1 Woe to her that is rebellious and polluted, to the oppressing city!
೧ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ಅವಿಧೇಯತೆ ಮಲಿನವೂ ಆದ ದಬ್ಬಾಳಿಕೆ ನಡೆಸುವ ನಗರದ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ!
2 She hearkened not to any voice; she accepted no correction; in the Lord she did not trust; to her God she drew not near.
೨ಅದು ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಲೀ ಆತನ ತಿದ್ದುಪಾಟಿಗಾಗಲಿ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಡಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಯೆಹೋವನಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ, ತನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಸಮೀಪಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
3 Her princes in her midst are roaring lions: her judges are evening wolves, they leave not a bone for the morning.
೩ಅವರೊಳಗಿನ ಮುಖ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಗರ್ಜಿಸುವ ಸಿಂಹಗಳು; ಅದರ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ಸಂಜೆಯ ತೋಳಗಳು; ಮರುದಿನ ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ಕಡಿಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಲುಬು ಸಹಾ ಬಿಡದ ಕ್ರೂರರು.
4 Her prophets are thoughtless men of treachery: her priests have profaned the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law.
೪ಅಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಬಡಾಯಿ ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರು, ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳು; ಅದರ ಯಾಜಕರು ಪವಿತ್ರಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಗೆಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಧರ್ಮವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಭಂಗಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
5 The just Lord is in her midst, he will not do wrong; morning after morning doth he bring his justice to the light [of day], it never faileth; but the unjust knoweth no shame.
೫ಅದರ ಮಧ್ಯ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನೀತಿಸ್ವರೂಪನು; ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡನು; ಪ್ರತಿ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ತನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪದೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಗೊಳಿಸುವನು; ಅನ್ಯಾಯಗಾರನೋ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
6 I have cut off nations; destroyed are their battlements; I have laid in ruins their streets, so that none passeth through; their cities are wasted, without a man, without an inhabitant.
೬ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ನಾನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಧ್ವಂಸಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಅವುಗಳ ಕೋಟೆ ಕೊತ್ತಲುಗಳು ಪಾಳು ಬಿದ್ದವು; ಅವುಗಳ ಬೀದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಯಾರೂ ಹಾದುಹೋಗರು; ಅವುಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ನಾಶವಾದವು, ಜನರೇ ಇಲ್ಲ, ನಿರ್ನಾಮವಾಗಿವೆ.
7 I said, Surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt accept correction; so that her dwelling should not be cut off, all that I had decreed to bring over her; but they rose up early, they acted corruptly in all their doings.
೭ಇದರಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೇ, ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಭಯಪಡುವಿ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಡುವಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ನಿವಾಸವು ನಾಶವಾಗದು, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿಧಿಸಿದ್ದೊಂದೂ ತಗಲದು” ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು; ಅವರಾದರೋ ಆತುರಗೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮ ನಡತೆಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
8 Therefore wait but for me, saith the Lord, for the day that I rise up to the prey; for my judgment [cometh] to gather the nations, for me to assemble the kingdoms, to pour over them my indignation, all the fierceness of my anger; for through the fire of my jealousy shall all the earth be devoured.
೮ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ಹೀಗಿರಲು ನನಗಾಗಿ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿರಿ, ನಾನು ಬೇಟೆಹಿಡಿಯಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಏಳುವ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಎದುರುನೋಡಿರಿ; ಜನಾಂಗರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ರೌದ್ರವನ್ನು, ಹೌದು, ನನ್ನ ಉಗ್ರಕೋಪವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊಯ್ದು ಬಿಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಆ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಲೋಕವೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗುವುದಷ್ಟೇ.
9 Yea then will I change unto the people a pure language, that they may all call on the name of the Lord, to serve him with one accord.
೯“ಆಗ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಂದೇ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಿ ಆತನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವಂತೆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳವರ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸಿ ಶುದ್ಧಿಮಾಡುವೆನು.
10 From beyond the rivers of Cush shall they bring my suppliants, even the assembly of my dispersed, as an offering unto me.
೧೦ಚದರಿಹೋಗಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಜನರು, ನನ್ನ ಭಕ್ತರು, ಕೂಷಿನ ನದಿಗಳ ಆಚೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ನನಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ತಂದು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವರು.
11 On that day shalt thou not be ashamed because of all thy doings, whereby thou hast transgressed against me; for then will I remove out of the midst of thee those that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt never more be haughty again on my holy mount.
೧೧“ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ನಾನಾ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳು ಮುಂದಿನ ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೆ ಈಡಾಗುವವು; ಆಗ ತಮ್ಮ ಅತಿಗರ್ವದಿಂದ ಮೆರೆಯುವವರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು; ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಪವಿತ್ರಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿ ಗರ್ವಪಡದೆ ಇರುವಿ.
12 And I will leave remaining in the midst of thee a humble and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the Lord.
೧೨ದೀನದರಿದ್ರ ಜನರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಸುವೆನು; ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು,
13 The remnant of Israel shall not do injustice, nor speak lies; and there shall not be found in their mouth a deceitful tongue; for they shall feed and lie down, with none to make them afraid.
೧೩ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದವರು ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡರು, ಸುಳ್ಳಾಡರು; ಅವರ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಸದ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಇರದು; ಕುರಿ ಮಂದೆಯಂತೆ ಮೇದು ಮಲಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು, ಅವರನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಹೆದರಿಸರು.”
14 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; rejoice and be glad with all thy heart, O daughter of Jerusalem!
೧೪ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಕುವರಿಯೇ, ಹರ್ಷಧ್ವನಿಗೈ! ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ಜಯಘೋಷಮಾಡು! ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ್ ಕುವರಿಯೇ, ಹೃದಯಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಆನಂದಿಸು, ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸು!
15 The Lord hath removed thy punishment, he hath cleared away thy enemy: the king of Israel, the Lord, is in the midst of thee; thou shalt not see evil any more.
೧೫ನಿನಗೆ ವಿಧಿಸಿದ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುವನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಇನ್ನು ಕೇಡಿಗೆ ಅಂಜದಿರುವಿ.
16 On that day shall it be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: [to] Zion, Let not thy hands become weak.
೧೬ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ, “ಚೀಯೋನೇ, ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳು ಜೋಲುಬೀಳದಿರಲಿ;
17 The Lord thy God is in the midst of thee, the mighty one who will save; he will be glad over thee with rejoicing; he will be silent in his love, he will exult over thee with song.
೧೭ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೂರನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವನು; ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸೇ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸುವನು; ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ನೂತನಗೊಳಿಸುವನು; ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಿಸಿ ಹರ್ಷಧ್ವನಿಗೈಯುವನು.
18 Those that mourn far away from the festive assembly do I gather, those that were separated from thee, [that have borne] for thee the burden of reproach.
೧೮ಅವಮಾನವು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರೆಯಾಗಿ ಕಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಹಬ್ಬ ಉತ್ಸವಗಳಿಗೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿ ಶೋಕಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನವರನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು.
19 Behold, I will deal [severely] with all that afflict thee at that time: and I will save her that halteth, and her that was driven off will I gather; and I will render them a praise and a famous name on all the earth where they have been put to shame.
೧೯ಆಹಾ, ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಂಟುವವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವೆನು, ಚದರಿ ಹೋದವರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವೆನು; ಅಂತು ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವಮಾನಪಟ್ಟವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುವೆನು.
20 At that time will I bring you back, even in the time that I gather you; for I will make you for a name and for a praise among all people of the earth, when I bring back again your captives before your eyes, saith the Lord.
೨೦ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ತರುವೆನು, ಹೌದು, ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸುವೆನು. ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದುರವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣೆದುರಿಗೇ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವಾಗ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಲೋಕದ ಸಕಲ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಮಾಡುವೆನು” ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
