Zechariah 9
1 The prophecy of the word of the Lord concerning the land of Chadrach, and Damascus his resting-place; for unto the Lord [will look] the eye of men, and [that of] all the tribes of Israel;
Okwu Amụma. Nke a bụ okwu Onyenwe anyị megide ala Hadrak, na obodo Damaskọs ka ọ ga-ezukwa ike, nʼihi nʼebe Onyenwe anyị nọ ka anya mmadụ niile na ebo niile nke Izrel dị.
2 And also concerning Chamath that is bordering thereon, Tyre, and Zidon, though it be very wise.
Otu ahụkwa ka ọ dị Hamat, nke dị ya nso; tinyekwara Taịa na Saịdọn, ọ bụ ezie na ha bụ ndị maara ihe nke ukwu.
3 And though Tyre have built herself a strong-hold, and heaped up silver as the dust, and fine gold as the mire of the streets:
Taịa ewuolara onwe ya ebe e wusiri ike, tụkọba ọlaọcha dịka aja, na ọlaedo dịka uzuzu nke okporoụzọ.
4 Behold, the Lord will drive her out, and he will strike down her power into the sea; and she herself shall be devoured with fire.
Ma Onyenwe anyị ga-anapụ ya ihe niile o nwere ọ ga-atụnye ike ya nʼoke osimiri, ọ ga-ejikwa ọkụ repịa ya.
5 Ashkelon shall see it, and fear; Gazzah also, and tremble greatly: and 'Ekron, for her trust will be made ashamed: and the king shall vanish from Gazzah, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.
Ashkelọn ga-ejupụta nʼụjọ mgbe ọ ga-ahụ ihe ndị a ka ha na-eme. Gaza kwa, ga-aṅagharị onwe ya nʼime oke ihe mgbu. Ọ bụladị Ekrọn ga-ama jijiji nʼụjọ mgbe ha hụrụ na olileanya ha agwụla. A ga-anapụ Gaza eze ya ma gbukwaa ya. Ọ dịghị onye ọbụla ga-ebikwa nʼAshkelọn.
6 And aliens shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.
Ụmụ amụtara nʼịkwa iko ga-ebichi obodo Ashdọd, aga m emekwa ka mpako ndị Filistia ndị a kwụsị.
7 And I will remove their bloody [-sacrifices] out of their mouth, and their abominations from between their teeth; and their land also shall be left for our God, and it shall be as a prince's [dwelling] in Judah, and 'Ekron shall be like Jebusi.
Aga m wezuga ọbara niile site nʼọnụ ha, wezugakwa ihe rụrụ arụ niile site nʼetiti eze ya. Ndị niile fọdụrụ ga-abụ ndị nke Chineke anyị, ha ga-adị ka otu agbụrụ na Juda. Ekrọn ga-adịkwa ka ndị Jebus.
8 And I will encamp about my house against armies, against those that pass to and fro, and there shall not pass over them any more an oppressor; for now do I look [on them] with my eyes.
Aga m echebe ụlọ m dịka onye nche, ka ndị iro ghara ịbata na ya. Ndị mkpagbu agaghị emerikwa ndị m ọzọ nʼagha, nʼihi na anọ m na nche ugbu a.
9 Be greatly glad, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! behold, thy King will come unto thee, righteous and victorious is he, lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of a she-ass.
Ṅụrịa ọṅụ nke ukwuu, gị Ada Zayọn! Tie mkpu ọṅụ, gị Ada Jerusalem! Nʼihi na lee, eze gị na-abịakwute gị, onye ezi omume na onye nwere mmeri, onye ewedara nʼala, nke na-anọkwasị nʼelu ịnyịnya ibu, ọ bụladị nʼelu nwa ịnyịnya ibu, nwa ịnyịnya na-ebu ibu.
10 And I will cut off chariots from Ephraim, and horses from Jerusalem, and there shall be cut off the battle-bow, and he shall speak peace unto the nations; and his dominion shall be from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth.
Ọ ga-ewezuga ụgbọ ịnyịnya niile nke Ifrem, na ịnyịnya agha niile nke Jerusalem; a ga-agbajikwa ụta agha. Ọ ga-ewetara mba niile udo, ọchịchị ya ga-esite nʼotu oke osimiri ruo nʼosimiri nke ọzọ, sitekwa nʼOsimiri Yufretis ruo na nsọtụ niile nke ụwa.
11 As for thee also, because of the blood of thy covenant, do I send forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein there is no water.
Ma gị onwe gị kwa, aga m eme ka ndị a tụrụ mkpọrọ nʼolulu nke mmiri na-adịghị nwere onwe ha, nʼihi ọbara nke ọgbụgba ndụ ahụ mụ na unu gbara.
12 Return you to the strong-hold, ye hopeful prisoners: even today do I declare, that I will recompense twofold [good] unto thee.
Lọghachinụ nʼebe unu niile e wusiri ike, unu bụ ndị mkpọrọ nwere olileanya. Ọ bụladị taa, ana m ekwupụta ya na m ga-eme ka unu lọta, gọziekwa unu okpukpu abụọ.
13 For I do bend Judah for me, grasp Ephraim [as] a bow; and I will stir up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Javan, and I will render thee as the sword of a mighty man.
Aga m agbagọ Juda dịka m si ekwe ụta m, tinye Ifrem dịka àkụ. Aga m akwali ụmụ gị ndị ikom, gị Zayọn, ka ha megide ụmụ ndị ikom ndị Griis. Aga m eme gị ka ị dịrị ka mma agha dị nʼaka dike nʼagha.
14 And the Lord will appear over them, and then will go forth like the lightning his arrow: and the Lord Eternal will blow on the cornet, and he will go along in the tempests of the south.
Mgbe ahụ, Onyenwe anyị ga-egosi onwe ya nʼebe dị elu karịa ha, àkụ ya ga-efekwa dịka amụma. Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị ga-afụ opi ike, ọ ga-azọkwa ije nʼoke ifufe nke si na ndịda.
15 The Lord of hosts will be a shield over them; and they shall devour [the prey], and subdue the sling-stones; and they shall drink, make a noise as one [drunken with] wine; and they shall be filled like the offering-bowls, like the corners of the altar.
Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile ga-echebe ha. Ha ga-ebibi, zọdakwa nkume ịtụ iche nʼebe niile. Ha ga-aṅụ ihe ọṅụṅụ mekwa mkpọtụ site na mmanya; ha ga-ejupụta dịka efere, dịka efere eji efesa ihe nʼakụkụ niile ebe a na-achụ aja na-ejupụta.
16 And the Lord their God will save them on that day as the flock of his people; for [like] the stones of a crown, will they elevate themselves over his land.
Mgbe ụbọchị ahụ bịara, Onyenwe anyị bụ Chineke ha ga-azọpụta ndị ya, dịka onye ọzụzụ atụrụ si azọpụta igwe ewu na atụrụ ya. Ha ga-acha, na-egbuke nʼala ya, dịka nkume dị oke ọnụahịa e tinyere nʼokpueze si na-egbuke.
17 For how great will be [that generation's] happiness, and how great its beauty! corn shall make the young men sing joyfully, and new wine the virgins.
Nʼezie, lee ka ịdị mma nke ala ahụ si dị ukwuu! Leekwa ka ịma mma ya si dị ukwuu! Mkpụrụ ubi ga-eme ka ụmụ okorobịa tozuo oke nke ọma, mmanya vaịnị ọhụrụ ga-emekwa ka ụmụ agbọghọ doo ahụ.
