Zechariah 6
1 And I again lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold, there came out four chariots from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of copper.
Ta lại ngước mắt lên, và nhìn xem; nầy, có bốn cỗ xe ra từ giữa hai hòn núi; và những núi ấy là núi bằng đồng.
2 In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot, black horses:
Nơi cỗ xe thứ nhứt có những ngựa hồng; cổ xe thứ nhì ngựa ô;
3 And in the third chariot, white horses; and in the fourth chariot, grizzled, ash-colored horses.
cỗ xe thứ ba, ngựa trắng; cỗ xe thứ tư, ngựa xám vá.
4 And I began and said unto the angel that spoke with me, What are these, my lord?
Đoạn ta cất tiếng hỏi thiên sứ nói cùng ta, mà rằng: Thưa chúa! những vật ấy là gì?
5 And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth after having stood before the Lord of all the earth.
Thiên sứ đáp cùng ta rằng: Aáy là bốn gió trên trời, ra từ nơi mà chúng nó đứng trước mặt Chúa của khắp đất.
6 The [chariot] on which are black horses—these go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grizzled go forth toward the south country.
Những ngựa ô gác xe kia kéo ra đến xứ phương bắc, và những ngựa trắng ra theo nó; còn những ngựa vá kéo ra đến xứ phương nam.
7 And the red-colored were gone forth, and sought to traverse the earth: and he said, Go, traverse the earth. So they traversed the earth.
Kế sau những ngựa mạnh kéo ra và đòi trải đi qua lại khắp đất. Thiên sứ nói cùng chúng nó rằng: Đi đi, và hãy chạy khắp đất. Vậy chúng nó trải đi qua lại khắp đất.
8 Then cried he loudly unto me, and spoke unto me, saying, Behold, these that are going toward the north country, have quieted [the indignation of] my spirit in the north country.
Đoạn, người gọi ta và nói với ta rằng: Nầy, những ngựa ra đến phương bắc đã làm cho thần ta yên lặng ở phương bắc rồi.
9 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Có lời của Đức Giê-hô-va phán cùng ta rằng:
10 Take from the exiles, from Cheldai, from Tobiyahu, and from Yeda'yah, and thou shalt come on the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephanyah, whither they have arrived from Babylon;
Ngươi khá lấy những kẻ khỏi phu tù trở về từ Hiên-đai, từ Tô-bi-gia, từ Giê-đa-gia, nội ngày đó ngươi khá đến và vào nhà Giô-si-a, con trai Sô-phô-ni, là chỗ chúng nó từ Ba-by-lôn đã đến.
11 Take also silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua, the son of Jehozadak the high priest;
Hãy nhận lấy bạc và vàng làm mũ triều thiên đội trên đầu thầy tế lễ cả Giê-hô-sua, con trai Giô-xa-đác.
12 And thou shalt say unto him as followeth, Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold a man, Sprout is his name; since out of his own place shall he sprout up, even he shall build the temple of the Lord:
Ngươi khá nói cùng người rằng: Đức Giê-hô-va vạn quân có phán như vầy: Nầy, có một người tên là Chồi mống, sẽ nứt ra từ chỗ người, và người ấy sẽ xây đền thờ Đức Giê-hô-va.
13 Yea, he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and a priest shall be upon his own throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between both of them.
Chính người sẽ xây đền thờ Đức Giê-hô-va; và chính người sẽ được sự oai nghiêm, ngồi cai trị trên ngôi mình, làm thầy tế lễ ở trên ngôi mình; và sẽ có mưu hòa bình ở giữa cả hai.
14 And the crowns shall be for Chelem, and for Tobiyah, and for Yeda'yah, and for Chen the son of Zephanyah, as a memorial in the temple of the Lord.
Nhưng mũ triều thiên sẽ thuộc về Hê-lem, Tô-bi-gia, Giê-đa-gia, và Hên, con trai của Sô-phô-ni, để làm sự ghi nhớ trong đền thờ Đức Giê-hô-va.
15 And distant ones shall come and build on the temple of the Lord, and ye shall know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God.
Những kẻ ở xa sẽ đến, xây đền thờ Đức Giê-hô-va; và các ngươi sẽ biết rằng Đức Giê-hô-va vạn quân sai ta đến cùng các ngươi; nếu các ngươi siêng năng vâng theo tiếng Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời mình thì sự đó sẽ xảy đến.
