< Zechariah 3 >

1 And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and the accuser standing at his right hand to accuse him.
Afei, ɔkyerɛɛ me ɔsɔfopanin Yosua a ɔgyina Awurade ɔbɔfoɔ anim, na Satan gyina ne nifa so rebɛbɔ no soboɔ.
2 And the Lord said unto the accuser, The Lord rebuke thee, O Accuser; yea, the Lord rebuke thee that hath chosen Jerusalem: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
Na Awurade ka kyerɛɛ Satan sɛ, “Awurade nka wʼanim, Satan! Awurade a Yerusalem yɛ ne dea no nka wʼanim. Saa ɔbarima yi nyɛ gyentia a wɔatu afiri ogya mu anaa?”
3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the angel.
Na Yosua hyɛ ntadeɛ fi ɛberɛ a ɔgyina ɔbɔfoɔ no anim.
4 And he commenced and said unto those that stood before him, saying; Take away the filthy garments from him. And he said unto him, Behold, I have caused thy iniquity to pass from off thee, and I clothe thee with festive garments.
Ɔbɔfoɔ no ka kyerɛɛ wɔn a wɔgyinagyina nʼanim no sɛ, “Monnyi ne ho ntadeɛ fi no.” Afei ɔka kyerɛɛ Yosua sɛ, “Hwɛ, mayi wo bɔne afiri wo so, na mede ntadeɛ a ɛyɛ fɛ bɛhyɛ wo.”
5 And I said, Let them place a clean mitre upon his head. So they placed the clean mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments; rind the angel of the Lord stood by.
Afei, mekaa sɛ, “Momfa abotire a ani teɛ mmɔ ne ti.” Enti, wɔde abotire a ani teɛ bɔɔ no, na wɔhyɛɛ no atadeɛ, ɛberɛ a Awurade ɔbɔfoɔ no gyina hɔ.
6 And the angel of the Lord forewarned Joshua, saying,
Na Awurade ɔbɔfoɔ de saa akwankyerɛ yi maa Yosua:
7 Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then shalt thou also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
“Yei ne deɛ Asafo Awurade seɛ: ‘Sɛ wobɛyɛ ɔsetie ama me na woayɛ mʼapɛdeɛ a, ɛnneɛ wobɛdi me fie so na woahwɛ mʼabannwa so, na mɛma wo baabi atena wɔ nnipa a wɔgyinagyina ha yi mu.
8 Do but hear, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee; for distinguished men are they; for, behold, I will bring my servant Zemach [[the Sprout]].
“‘Tie, Ao ɔsɔfopanin Yosua, wo ne wo nkurɔfoɔ a wɔtete wʼanim yi, moyɛ nnipa a wɔgyina hɔ ma nneɛma a ɛrebɛsisi: Mede me ɔsomfoɔ, Dubaa, no bɛba.
9 For behold [here is] the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave thereon its inscription, saith the Lord of hosts, And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
Hwɛ, aboɔdenboɔ a mede asi Yosua anim!
10 On that day, saith the Lord of hosts, shall ye call every man to his neighbor under the vine and under the fig-tree.
“‘Saa ɛda no mo mu biara bɛto nsa afrɛ ne yɔnko ne no akɔtena ne ngo dua ne borɔdɔma dua ase,’ sɛdeɛ Asafo Awurade seɛ nie.”
