Zechariah 3

1 And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and the accuser standing at his right hand to accuse him.

Depois ele me mostrou o sumo sacerdote Josué, que estava diante do anjo do SENHOR; e Satanás estava à sua direita para o acusar.

2 And the Lord said unto the accuser, The Lord rebuke thee, O Accuser; yea, the Lord rebuke thee that hath chosen Jerusalem: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

Mas o SENHOR disse a Satanás: O SENHOR te repreenda, Satanás; o SENHOR, que escolheu a Jerusalém, te repreenda. Não é este [homem] um tição tirado do fogo?

3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the angel.

E Josué estava vestido com roupas impuras enquanto estava diante do anjo.

4 And he commenced and said unto those that stood before him, saying; Take away the filthy garments from him. And he said unto him, Behold, I have caused thy iniquity to pass from off thee, and I clothe thee with festive garments.

Então [o anjo] falou aos que estavam diante de dele, dizendo: Tirai dele essas roupas impuras. E a ele disse: Eis que tirei de ti tua perversidade, e te vestirei de roupas refinadas.

5 And I said, Let them place a clean mitre upon his head. So they placed the clean mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments; rind the angel of the Lord stood by.

Depois disse: Ponham um turbante limpo sobre sua cabeça. E puseram um turbante limpo sobre sua cabeça, e puseram-lhe roupas, enquanto o anjo do SENHOR estava [junto].

6 And the angel of the Lord forewarned Joshua, saying,

E o anjo do SENHOR exortou a Josué, dizendo:

7 Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then shalt thou also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.

Assim diz o SENHOR dos exércitos: Se andares em meus caminhos, e guardares minha ordenança, também tu julgarás minha casa e guardarás meus pátios; e te darei passagem entre os que [aqui] estão.

8 Do but hear, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee; for distinguished men are they; for, behold, I will bring my servant Zemach [[the Sprout]].

Ouvi, pois, Josué sumo sacerdote, tu, e teus colegas que se sentam diante de ti; porque são um sinal; pois eis que eu trarei a meu servo, o Renovo.

9 For behold [here is] the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave thereon its inscription, saith the Lord of hosts, And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

Porque eis que, quanto à pedra que pus diante de Josué, sobre esta pedra há sete olhos; eis que gravarei nela uma inscrição, diz o SENHOR dos exércitos, e tirarei a injustiça desta terra em um dia.

10 On that day, saith the Lord of hosts, shall ye call every man to his neighbor under the vine and under the fig-tree.

Naquele dia, diz o SENHOR dos exércitos, cada um de vós convidará a seu próximo para debaixo da videira, e para debaixo da figueira.
