< Zechariah 13 >
1 On that day shall there be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for cleansing from sin and for purification.
I A LA hoi, e hoohuaiia auanei he punawai no ka ohana a Davida, a no na kanaka o Ierusalema, No ka hewa a me ka haumia.
2 And it shall come to pass on that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall not be remembered any more: and also the prophets and the unclean spirit will I remove out of the land.
Eia hoi kekahi ia la, wahi a Iehova o na kaua, E anai aku au i na inoa o na kii mai ka aina aku, I hoomanao hou ole ia lakou; A e hookuke aku hoi au i na kaula a me ka uhane haukae mai ka aina aku.
3 And it shall come to pass, if any one should yet prophesy, that his father and his mother who have begotten him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for falsely hast thou spoken in the name of the Lord: and his father and his mother who have begotten him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.
A e hiki auanei, ina e wanana kekahi kanaka, Alaila e i aku ai kona makuakane a me kona makuwahine nana ia i hanau, Aole oe e ola; no ka mea, he olelo hoopunipuni kau ma ka inoa o Iehova: A o kona makuakane a me kona makuwahine nana ia i hanau, E hou iho laua ia ia, i kana wanana ana.
4 And it shall come to pass on that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one because of his vision, when he prophesieth; and they shall not clothe themselves with a hairy cloak in order to deceive.
Eia hoi kekahi ia la, e hilahila no kela kaula keia kaula, I kona hihio, ia ia i wanana mai ai; Aole hoi ia e hoaahu ae i ka aahu hulu i mea e hoopunipuni ai:
5 But he will say, I am no prophet, a man that tilleth the ground am I; for some one hath taught me to keep cattle from my youth.
Aka, e olelo auanei oia, Aole au he kaula, Aka, he kanaka mahiai au, No ka mea, na ke kanaka au i kuai ai mai kuu wa kamalii mai.
6 And should some one say unto him, What are these wounds between thy hands? Then will he say, Those with which I have been wounded in the house of my [vicious] friends.
A e olelo aku kekahi ia ia, O ke aha keia mau wahi eha ma kou mau lima? E i mai kela, Oia kahi a'u i hoehaia'i, Iloko o ka hale o ka poe i aloha mai ia'u.
7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man whom I have associated with me, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered; but I will turn my hand toward the feeble ones.
E ka pahikaua, e ala ku e oe i kuu Kahuhipa, I ke kanaka Hoa o'u, wahi a Iehova o na kaua. E hahau i ke Kahuhipa, a e hooauheeia na hipa; E hoohuli aku au i kuu lima maluna o ka poe liilii.
8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts [of those] therein shall be cut off, shall perish; but the third part shall be left therein.
A iloko o ka aina a pau, wahi a Iehova, E hookiia'i na hapakolu elua o ka poe iloko, a make; Aka, e hookoeia kekahi hapa ilaila.
9 And I will bring the third part into the fire, and I will refine them as one refineth silver, and will probe them as gold is probed: they will call on my name, and I will answer their prayer; I will say, They arc my people; and they will say, The Lord is my God.
A e alakai au i kekahi hapakolu iwaena o ke ahi, A e hoohehee au ia lakou e like me ka hooheheeia ana o ke kala, E hoao hoi au ia lakou e like me ka hoao ana i ke gula: E kahea mai ia poe i kuu inoa, a e hoolohe au ia lakou: E olelo auanei au, O ko'u poe kanaka keia; A e olelo hoi lakou, O Iehova ko'u Akua.
