Zechariah 13
1 On that day shall there be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for cleansing from sin and for purification.
Zu der Zeit wird das Haus David und die Bürger zu Jerusalem einen freien offenen Born haben wider die Sünde und Unreinigkeit.
2 And it shall come to pass on that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall not be remembered any more: and also the prophets and the unclean spirit will I remove out of the land.
Zu der Zeit, spricht der HERR Zebaoth, will ich der Götzen Namen ausrotten aus dem Lande, daß man ihrer nicht mehr gedenken soll; dazu will ich auch die Propheten und unreinen Geister aus dem Lande treiben,
3 And it shall come to pass, if any one should yet prophesy, that his father and his mother who have begotten him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for falsely hast thou spoken in the name of the Lord: and his father and his mother who have begotten him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.
daß also gehen soll: wenn jemand weiter weissaget, sollen sein Vater und Mutter, die ihn gezeuget haben, zu ihm sagen: Du sollst nicht leben, denn du redest falsch im Namen des HERRN; und werden also Vater und Mutter, die ihn gezeuget haben, ihn zerstechen, wenn er weissaget.
4 And it shall come to pass on that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one because of his vision, when he prophesieth; and they shall not clothe themselves with a hairy cloak in order to deceive.
Denn es soll zu der Zeit geschehen, daß die Propheten mit Schanden bestehen mit ihren Gesichten, wenn sie davon weissagen; und sollen nicht mehr einen rauchen Mantel anziehen, damit sie betrügen,
5 But he will say, I am no prophet, a man that tilleth the ground am I; for some one hath taught me to keep cattle from my youth.
sondern wird müssen sagen: Ich bin kein Prophet, sondern ein Ackermann, denn ich habe Menschen gedienet von meiner Jugend auf.
6 And should some one say unto him, What are these wounds between thy hands? Then will he say, Those with which I have been wounded in the house of my [vicious] friends.
So man aber sagen wird zu ihm: Was sind das für Wunden in deinen Händen? wird er sagen: So bin ich geschlagen im Hause derer, die mich lieben.
7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man whom I have associated with me, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered; but I will turn my hand toward the feeble ones.
Schwert, mache dich auf über meinen Hirten und über den Mann, der mir der nächste ist! spricht der HERR Zebaoth. Schlage den Hirten, so wird die Herde sich zerstreuen, so will ich meine Hand kehren zu den Kleinen.
8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts [of those] therein shall be cut off, shall perish; but the third part shall be left therein.
Und soll geschehen, in welchem Lande, spricht der HERR, zwei Teile sind; die sollen ausgerottet werden und untergehen, und das dritte Teil soll drinnen überbleiben.
9 And I will bring the third part into the fire, and I will refine them as one refineth silver, and will probe them as gold is probed: they will call on my name, and I will answer their prayer; I will say, They arc my people; and they will say, The Lord is my God.
Und will dasselbige dritte Teil durchs Feuer führen und läutern, wie man Silber läutert, und fegen, wie man Gold feget. Die werden dann meinen Namen anrufen, und ich will sie erhören. Ich will sagen: Es ist mein Volk; und sie werden sagen: HERR, mein Gott!
