Zechariah 11
1 Open thy doors, O Lebanon, and the fire shall eat on thy cedars.
൧ലെബാനോനേ, നിന്റെ ദേവദാരുക്കൾ തീക്ക് ഇരയായിത്തീരേണ്ടതിനു വാതിൽ തുറന്നുവക്കുക.
2 Wail, fir-tree; for fallen is the cedar; those that were mighty are despoiled: wail, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the impervious forest is come down.
൨ദേവദാരു വീണും മഹത്തായ മരങ്ങൾ നശിച്ചും ഇരിക്കയാൽ സരളവൃക്ഷമേ, വിലപിക്കുക; ഘോരവനം വീണിരിക്കുകയാൽ ബാശാനിലെ കരുവേലങ്ങളേ, വിലപിക്കുവിൻ!
3 [There is] the noise of the wailing of the shepherds; for wasted is their glory: [there is] the noise of the roaring of young lions; for wasted is the pride of the Jordan.
൩ഇടയന്മാരുടെ മഹത്വം നശിച്ചിട്ട് അവർ മുറയിടുന്നതു കേട്ടുവോ? യോർദ്ദാന്റെ മുറ്റു കാട് നശിച്ചിട്ട് ബാലസിംഹങ്ങളുടെ ഗർജ്ജനം കേട്ടുവോ?
4 Thus hath said the Lord my God, Feed the flocks [that are destined for] the slaughter;
൪എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “അറുക്കുവാനുള്ള ആടുകളെ മേയ്ക്ക.
5 Whom their buyers slay, and hold themselves guiltless; and whose sellers say, Blessed be the Lord, for I am rich: and none of whose shepherds have pity on them.
൫അവയെ വാങ്ങുന്നവർ കുറ്റം എന്ന് കരുതാതെ അവയെ അറുക്കുന്നു; അവയെ വില്‍ക്കുന്നവരോ: ‘ഞാൻ ധനവാനായിത്തീർന്നതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയ്ക്കു സ്തോത്രം’ എന്നു പറയുന്നു; അവയുടെ ഇടയന്മാർ അവയെ ആദരിക്കുന്നില്ല”.
6 For I will no more have pity on the inhabitants of the land, saith the Lord: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into the hand of his neighbor, and into the hand of his king: and they shall beat down the land, and I will not deliver out of their hand.
൬“ഞാൻ ഇനി ദേശനിവാസികളെ ആദരിക്കുകയില്ല” എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട്; “ഞാൻ മനുഷ്യരെ ഓരോരുത്തനെ അവനവന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ കൈയിലും അവനവന്റെ രാജാവിന്റെ കൈയിലും ഏല്പിക്കും; അവർ ദേശത്തെ തകർത്തുകളയും; അവരുടെ കൈയിൽനിന്നു ഞാൻ അവരെ രക്ഷിക്കുകയുമില്ല.
7 And I had fed the flocks [that were destined for] the slaughter, —indeed, the poorest of the flocks; and I had taken unto me two staves; the one I called Mildness [[No'am]], and the other I called Concord [[Choblim]]: and I fed the flocks.
൭അങ്ങനെ അറുക്കുവാനുള്ള ആടുകളെ, കൂട്ടത്തിൽ അരിഷ്ടത ഏറിയവയെ തന്നെ, മേയിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ രണ്ടു കോൽ എടുത്ത് ഒന്നിന് ഇമ്പം എന്നും മറ്റേതിന് ഒരുമ എന്നും പേരിട്ടു; അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ ആടുകളെ മേയിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
8 And I removed the three shepherds in one month; and my soul was tired of them, and also their soul abhorred me.
൮എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ ഒരു മാസത്തിൽ മൂന്ന് ഇടയന്മാരെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; എനിക്ക് അവരോടു വെറുപ്പുതോന്നി, അവർക്ക് എന്നോടും നീരസം തോന്നിയിരുന്നു.
9 Then said I, I will not feed you: what is dying may die; and what is to be lost may be lost; and those that are left may eat every one the flesh of the other.
൯ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ മേയ്ക്കുകയില്ല; മരിക്കുന്നത് മരിക്കട്ടെ, കാണാതെപോകുന്നത് കാണാതെ പോകട്ടെ; ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവ ഒന്ന് ഒന്നിന്റെ മാംസം തിന്നുകളയട്ടെ” എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
10 And I took my staff, namely, Mildness, and cut it to pieces, to annul my covenant which I had made with all the tribes.
൧൦അനന്തരം ഞാൻ ഇമ്പം എന്ന കോൽ എടുത്തു: ഞാൻ സകലജനതകളോടും ചെയ്തിരുന്ന എന്റെ നിയമത്തെ മുറിക്കേണ്ടതിന് കോലിനെ മുറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
11 And when it was annulled on that day, then knew they well, truly the poorest of the flocks that waited for me, that it was the word of the Lord.
൧൧അത് ആ ദിവസത്തിൽ തന്നെ മുറിഞ്ഞുപോയി; അങ്ങനെ, എന്നെ നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന കൂട്ടത്തിൽ അരിഷ്ടതയേറിയവ അത് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട് എന്നു ഗ്രഹിച്ചു.
12 And I said unto them, If it be good in your eyes, give me my reward; and if not, forbear. So they weighed out as my reward thirty pieces of silver.
൧൨ഞാൻ അവരോട്: “നിങ്ങൾക്ക് മനസ്സുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ എന്റെ കൂലിതരുവിൻ; ഇല്ലെന്നുവരുകിൽ തരേണ്ടാ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അങ്ങനെ അവർ എന്റെ കൂലിയായി മുപ്പതു വെള്ളിക്കാശ് തൂക്കിത്തന്നു.
13 And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the treasurer, the precious price which I am prized at by them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them in the house of the Lord unto the treasurer.
൧൩എന്നാൽ യഹോവ എന്നോട്: “അത് ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിൽ ഇട്ടുകളയുക; അവർ എന്നെ മതിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന മനോഹരമായൊരു വില തന്നെ” എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ ആ മുപ്പത് വെള്ളിക്കാശു വാങ്ങി യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിൽ ഇട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.
14 Then I cut in pieces my second staff, namely, Concord, to annul the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
൧൪അനന്തരം ഞാൻ, യെഹൂദയും യിസ്രായേലും തമ്മിലുള്ള സഹോദരത്വം ഭിന്നിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഒരുമ എന്ന മറ്റേ കോൽ മുറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
15 And the Lord said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
൧൫എന്നാൽ യഹോവ എന്നോട് കല്പിച്ചത്: “നീ ഇനി ഒരു ബുദ്ധിശൂന്യനായ ഇടയന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ എടുത്തുകൊള്ളുക.
16 For, lo, I raise up a shepherd in the land, who will not think of those that are lost, nor seek for that which is gone astray, nor heal that which hath [a limb] broken; who will not care for that which hath stood still; but who will eat the flesh of the fat, and devour all even to their claws.
൧൬ഞാൻ ദേശത്തിൽ ഒരു ഇടയനെ എഴുന്നേല്പിക്കും; അവൻ കാണാതെപോയവയെ നോക്കുകയോ ചിതറിപ്പോയവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കുകയോ മുറിവേറ്റവയെ സുഖപ്പെടുത്തുകയോ ദീനമില്ലാത്തവയെ പോറ്റുകയോ ചെയ്യാതെ തടിച്ചവയുടെ മാംസം തിന്നുകയും കുളമ്പുകളെ കീറിക്കളയുകയും ചെയ്യും.
17 Woe to the worthless shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall utterly wither, and his right eye shall be completely blinded.
൧൭ആട്ടിൻകൂട്ടത്തെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചുകളയുന്ന വിലകെട്ട ഇടയന് അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! അവന്റെ ഭുജത്തിനും വലംകണ്ണിനും നേരെ വാൾ! അവന്റെ ഭുജം അശേഷം വരണ്ടും വലംകണ്ണ് അശേഷം ഇരുണ്ടും പോകട്ടെ”.
