< Zechariah 11 >

1 Open thy doors, O Lebanon, and the fire shall eat on thy cedars.
Oe Lebanon mon, nange anrikungnaw hah hmai a kak nahanelah, na takhangnaw hah paawng haw.
2 Wail, fir-tree; for fallen is the cedar; those that were mighty are despoiled: wail, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the impervious forest is come down.
Oe hmaicakung, anri kung a kamlei dawkvah khui haw. Thingkung aphu kaawmnaw teh koung a rawp toe. Oe kathenkungnaw, ratu dawk e thingkung dungradungnaw hai koung a rawp dawkvah khui haw.
3 [There is] the noise of the wailing of the shepherds; for wasted is their glory: [there is] the noise of the roaring of young lions; for wasted is the pride of the Jordan.
Tukhoumnaw ni yeirai aphu awh dawkvah a khui awh. Jordan tuipui e bawilennae a ro dawkvah sendeknaw a huk e pawlawk thai lah ao.
4 Thus hath said the Lord my God, Feed the flocks [that are destined for] the slaughter;
Kaie Jehovah Cathut ni a dei e teh, thei hanlah hmoun e hete tuhu naw hah kawk lah.
5 Whom their buyers slay, and hold themselves guiltless; and whose sellers say, Blessed be the Lord, for I am rich: and none of whose shepherds have pity on them.
Katawnkungnaw ni a thei awh teh ka yon tie kâpanuek awh hoeh. Kayawtnaw ni hai ka hmu thai e doeh ati awh teh BAWIPA teh yawhawinae awm naseh telah ati awh. Tukhoumnaw ni hai pahrenlungmanae tawn awh hoeh.
6 For I will no more have pity on the inhabitants of the land, saith the Lord: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into the hand of his neighbor, and into the hand of his king: and they shall beat down the land, and I will not deliver out of their hand.
Ahnimae a kut dawk hoi kahlout sak mahoeh a ti.
7 And I had fed the flocks [that were destined for] the slaughter, —indeed, the poorest of the flocks; and I had taken unto me two staves; the one I called Mildness [[No'am]], and the other I called Concord [[Choblim]]: and I fed the flocks.
Hottelah, thei han hmoun tangcoung e tuhu lah kaawm e ka roedeng e tu naw hah ka kawk.
8 And I removed the three shepherds in one month; and my soul was tired of them, and also their soul abhorred me.
Tukhoumkung kathum touh hai thapa yung touh dawk koung ka raphoe. Ahnimouh kecu dawk ka lungsaw thai hoeh. Ahnimouh ni hai kai teh na panuet awh.
9 Then said I, I will not feed you: what is dying may die; and what is to be lost may be lost; and those that are left may eat every one the flesh of the other.
Nangmouh teh bout na kawk awh mahoeh. Kadout e teh dout yawkaw naseh. Thei lah kaawm e hai thet a yawkaw naseh. Kacawie naw hai buet touh hoi buet touh kâkei a na yawkaw seh, telah a ti.
10 And I took my staff, namely, Mildness, and cut it to pieces, to annul my covenant which I had made with all the tribes.
Miphun puenghoi sak e lawkkamnae hah raphoe hanlah ka ngai dawkvah sonron meihawi ka la teh ka khoe.
11 And when it was annulled on that day, then knew they well, truly the poorest of the flocks that waited for me, that it was the word of the Lord.
Hote lawkkamnae teh hat hnin vah a ro dawkvah Kai na kâuep e ka roedeng e tunaw teh BAWIPA lawk a thai panuek awh.
12 And I said unto them, If it be good in your eyes, give me my reward; and if not, forbear. So they weighed out as my reward thirty pieces of silver.
13 And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the treasurer, the precious price which I am prized at by them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them in the house of the Lord unto the treasurer.
BAWIPA ni hote tangka teh hlaamkabonaw e hmalah tâkhawng pouh haw. Kai hanlah aphu na khoe a e tangka teh ek apap ati awh e patetlah, hote ngun tangka 30 touh hah ka la teh, BAWIPA e im dawk hlaamkabonaw e hmalah ka tâkhawng pouh.
14 Then I cut in pieces my second staff, namely, Concord, to annul the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
Hat navah, Judah miphun hoi Isarel miphun huiko kamyawngnae raphoe ngainae kecu dawkvah sonron alouke hah ka la teh ka khoe.
15 And the Lord said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
Hathnukkhu, BAWIPA niyah ka pathu e tukhoumkung e hnopainaw hah lat haw.
16 For, lo, I raise up a shepherd in the land, who will not think of those that are lost, nor seek for that which is gone astray, nor heal that which hath [a limb] broken; who will not care for that which hath stood still; but who will eat the flesh of the fat, and devour all even to their claws.
Bangkongtetpawiteh, hote ram dawk tukhoumkung buet touh ka tâco sak han. Ahni ni thei lah kaawm e tu hah khenyawn mahoeh. Lam ka phen e hah tawng hoeh. Ka dam hoeh e a dam nahanlah khenyawn hoeh. Kangdout e kabawm hoeh. Kathâw e naw hah a ca han. A khoksamen hai a khoe pouh awh han.
17 Woe to the worthless shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall utterly wither, and his right eye shall be completely blinded.
Tuhu hah ka pahnawt e ayawmyin e tukhoumkung teh a yawthout naseh. Ahnie a kut hoi aranglae mit dawkvah tahloi hoi hmâ a ca han. A kut thasainae teh khak a ke han. Aranglae mit hai a dawn han telah a ti.
