Psalms 99

1 The Lord reigneth; people tremble: he sitteth enthroned over the cherubim; the earth is moved.

RAB egemenlik sürüyor, titresin halklar! Keruvlar arasında tahtına oturmuş, Sarsılsın yeryüzü!

2 The Lord is great in Zion; and he is exalted above all the people.

RAB Siyon'da uludur, Yücedir O, bütün halklara egemendir.

3 They will give thanks to thy name, great, and terrible, [and] holy it is.

Övsünler büyük, müthiş adını! O kutsaldır.

4 And to the power of the king who loveth justice and righteousness hast thou truly executed in Jacob.

Ey adaleti seven güçlü kral, Eşitliği sen sağladın, Yakup soyunda doğru ve adil olanı sen yaptın.

5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and bow yourselves down before his footstool: he is holy.—

Yüceltin Tanrımız RAB'bi, Ayaklarının taburesi önünde tapının! O kutsaldır.

6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests, and Samuel among those that call on his name; they called on the Lord, and he answered them.

Musa'yla Harun O'nun kâhinlerindendi, Samuel de O'nu adıyla çağıranlar arasındaydı. RAB'be seslenirlerdi, O da yanıtlardı.

7 In the pillar of cloud he used to speak unto them: they kept his testimonies, and the statutes which he had given unto them.

Bulut sütunu içinden onlarla konuştu, Uydular O'nun buyruklarına, Kendilerine verdiği kurallara.

8 O Lord, our God, thou didst answer them: thou wast a forgiving God unto them, yet also an avenger for their wrong doings.

Ya RAB Tanrımız, yanıt verdin onlara; Bağışlayıcı bir Tanrı oldun, Ama yaptıkları kötülüğü cezasız bırakmadın.

9 Exalt the Lord our God, and bow yourselves down before his holy mount; for holy is the Lord our God.

Tanrımız RAB'bi yüceltin, Tapının O'na kutsal dağında! Çünkü Tanrımız RAB kutsaldır.
