Psalms 98

1 “A psalm.” Oh sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done wonderful things: his right hand and his holy arm have gotten him the victory.

Zsoltár. Énekeljetek az Örökkévalónak új éneket! Mert csodatetteket mívelt; segített neki jobbja és szentséges karja.

2 The Lord hath made known his salvation: before the eyes of the nations hath he revealed his righteousness.

Megismertette segítségét az Örökkévaló, a nemzetek szemei előtt Megnyilvání-totta igazságát.

3 He hath remembered his kindness and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Megemlékezett szeretetéről és hüségéről Izraél háza iránt, látták mind a föld népei Istenünk segítségét.

4 Shout joyfully unto the Lord, all the lands: break forth, and rejoice, and sing praises.

Riadjatok az Örökkévalónak, mind a földön levők, fakadjatok ki és ujjongjatok és zengjetek!

5 Sing praises unto the Lord with the harp, —with the harp, and the voice of psalmody.

Zengjetek az Örökkévalónak hárfával, hárfával és zeneszóval;

6 With trumpets and the sound of cornet shout joyfully before the King, the Lord.

trombitákkal és harsonaszóval, riadjatok a király, az Örökkévaló előtt!

7 Let the sea roar, with all that filleth it; the world, with those that dwell therein.

Dörögjön a tenger és teljessége, a világ és a benne lakók;

8 Let the rivers clap their hands; let the mountains be joyful together,

folyamok csapják össze tenyerüket, együttesen ujjongjanak a hegyek:

9 Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and people with equity.

az Örökkévaló előtt, mert jön itélni a földet; ítéli a világot igazsággal s a népeket egyenességgel.
