Psalms 96
1 Oh sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the lands.
| שִׁ֣ירוּ לַ֭יהוָה שִׁ֣יר חָדָ֑שׁ שִׁ֥ירוּ לַ֝יהוָ֗ה כָּל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ |
2 Sing unto the Lord, bless his name: announce from day to day his salvation.
| שִׁ֣ירוּ לַ֭יהוָה בָּרֲכ֣וּ שְׁמֹ֑ו בַּשְּׂר֥וּ מִיֹּֽום־לְ֝יֹ֗ום יְשׁוּעָתֹֽו׃ |
3 Relate among the nations his honor, among all the people his wonders.
| סַפְּר֣וּ בַגֹּויִ֣ם כְּבֹודֹ֑ו בְּכָל־הָֽ֝עַמִּ֗ים נִפְלְאֹותָֽיו׃ |
4 For the Lord is great, and greatly praised: he is to be feared above all gods.
| כִּ֥י גָ֘דֹ֤ול יְהוָ֣ה וּמְהֻלָּ֣ל מְאֹ֑ד נֹורָ֥א ה֝֗וּא עַל־כָּל־אֱלֹהִֽים׃ |
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols; but the Lord hath made the heavens.
| כִּ֤י ׀ כָּל־אֱלֹהֵ֣י הָעַמִּ֣ים אֱלִילִ֑ים וַֽ֝יהוָ֗ה שָׁמַ֥יִם עָשָֽׂה׃ |
6 Glory and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
| הֹוד־וְהָדָ֥ר לְפָנָ֑יו עֹ֥ז וְ֝תִפְאֶ֗רֶת בְּמִקְדָּשֹֽׁו׃ |
7 Ascribe unto the Lord, O ye families of the people, ascribe unto the Lord honor and strength.
| הָב֣וּ לַ֭יהוָה מִשְׁפְּחֹ֣ות עַמִּ֑ים הָב֥וּ לַ֝יהוָ֗ה כָּבֹ֥וד וָעֹֽז׃ |
8 Ascribe unto the Lord the honor [due unto] his name: bear hither a present, and come unto his courts.
| הָב֣וּ לַ֭יהוָה כְּבֹ֣וד שְׁמֹ֑ו שְׂאֽוּ־מִ֝נְחָ֗ה וּבֹ֥אוּ לְחַצְרֹותָֽיו׃ |
9 Bow down unto the Lord in the beauty of holiness: tremble before him, all ye lands.
| הִשְׁתַּחֲו֣וּ לַ֭יהוָה בְּהַדְרַת־קֹ֑דֶשׁ חִ֥ילוּ מִ֝פָּנָ֗יו כָּל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ |
10 Say among the nations, “The Lord reigneth;” [therefore] also the world is ever firmly established that it shall hot be moved: he will judge the people in equity.
| אִמְר֤וּ בַגֹּויִ֨ם ׀ יְה֘וָ֤ה מָלָ֗ךְ אַף־תִּכֹּ֣ון תֵּ֭בֵל בַּל־תִּמֹּ֑וט יָדִ֥ין עַ֝מִּ֗ים בְּמֵישָׁרִֽים׃ |
11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad: let the sea roar, with all that filleth it.
| יִשְׂמְח֣וּ הַ֭שָּׁמַיִם וְתָגֵ֣ל הָאָ֑רֶץ יִֽרְעַ֥ם הַ֝יָּ֗ם וּמְלֹאֹֽו׃ |
12 Let the field exult, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy,
| יַעֲלֹ֣ז שָׂ֭דַי וְכָל־אֲשֶׁר־בֹּ֑ו אָ֥ז יְ֝רַנְּנ֗וּ כָּל־עֲצֵי־יָֽעַר׃ |
13 Before the Lord; for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and people in his truth.
| לִפְנֵ֤י יְהוָ֨ה ׀ כִּ֬י בָ֗א כִּ֥י בָא֮ לִשְׁפֹּ֪ט הָ֫אָ֥רֶץ יִשְׁפֹּֽט־תֵּבֵ֥ל בְּצֶ֑דֶק וְ֝עַמִּ֗ים בֶּאֱמוּנָתֹֽו׃ |
