Psalms 95
1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.
Kottaa Waaqayyoof faarfannaa; Kattaa fayyina keenyaatiifis ni ililchinaa.
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and shout joyfully unto him with psalms.
Galataan fuula isaa duratti haa dhiʼaannu; faarfannaadhaanis isa haa leellifnu.
3 For a great God is the Lord, and a great King above all Gods;
Waaqayyo Waaqa guddaadhaatii; inni waaqota hundaa olitti Mootii guddaa dha.
4 In whose hand are the deep places of the earth; and whose are the heights of mountains;
Qileewwan lafaa harka isaa keessa jiru; fiixeewwan tulluus kan isaa ti.
5 Whose is the sea, and who hath made it; and whose hands have formed the dry land.
Galaanni kan isaa ti; isatu hojjeteetii; lafa gogaa illee harka isaatu uume.
6 Oh come, let us prostrate ourselves and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.
Kottaa gad jennee sagadnaa; Uumaa keenya Waaqayyo duratti ni jilbeenfannaa;
7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the flock of his hand: yea, this day, if ye will hearken to his voice,
inni Waaqa keenyaatii; nu immoo saba eegumsa isaa jala jirruu dha; bushaayee harka isaa keessa jiruudhas. Isin harʼa yoo sagalee isaa dhageessan,
8 Harden not your heart, as at Meribah, as on the day of the temptation in the wilderness:
akka Mariibaatti gootan sana, akka gaafa gammoojjii keessatti Maasaatti gootan sanaa mataa hin jabaatinaa;
9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, although they had seen my doing.
abbootiin keessan utuma hojii koo arganuu, achitti qoranii na ilaalan.
10 Forty years long did I feel loathing on that generation, and I said, It is a people of an erring heart; and they truly acknowledged not my ways:
Dhaloota sanatti ani waggaa afurtama nan dheekkame; anis, “Isaan saba garaan isaanii karaa irraa jalʼatee dha; isaan karaa koo hin beekne” nan jedheen.
11 So that I swore in my wrath, that they should not enter into my rest.
Kanaafuu ani dheekkamsa kootiin, “Isaan boqonnaa kootti hin galan” jedhee kakadhe.
