Psalms 94
1 O God, of vengeance, Lord! O God of vengeance, shine forth.
പ്രതികാരത്തിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, പ്രതികാരത്തിന്റെ ദൈവമേ, പ്രകാശിക്കേണമേ.
2 Lift up thyself, O judge of the Earth! bring a recompense upon the proud.
ഭൂമിയുടെ ന്യായാധിപതിയേ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കേണമേ; ഡംഭികൾക്കു നീ പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യേണമേ.
3 How long shall the wicked, O Lord—how long shall the wicked exult?
യഹോവേ, ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ എത്രത്തോളം, ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ എത്രത്തോളം ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും?
4 They sputter, they speak hard things: all the workers of wickedness boast themselves.
അവർ ശകാരിച്ചു ധാൎഷ്ട്യം സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; നീതികേടു പ്രവൎത്തിക്കുന്ന ഏവരും വമ്പു പറയുന്നു.
5 Thy people, O Lord! they crush, and thy heritage they afflict.
യഹോവേ, അവർ നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ തകൎത്തുകളയുന്നു; നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
6 The widow and the stranger they slay, and the fatherless they murder.
അവർ വിധവയെയും പരദേശിയെയും കൊല്ലുന്നു; അനാഥന്മാരെ അവർ ഹിംസിക്കുന്നു.
7 And they say, The Lord will not see, and the God of Jacob will not take notice of it.
യഹോവ കാണുകയില്ല എന്നും യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവം ഗ്രഹിക്കയില്ലെന്നും അവർ പറയുന്നു.
8 Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye become intelligent!
ജനത്തിൽ മൃഗപ്രായരായവരേ, ചിന്തിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ; ഭോഷന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങൾക്കു എപ്പോൾ ബുദ്ധിവരും?
9 He that hath planted the ear, shall he not hear? or he that hath formed the eye, shall he not see?
ചെവിയെ നട്ടവൻ കേൾക്കയില്ലയോ? കണ്ണിനെ നിൎമ്മിച്ചവൻ കാണുകയില്ലയോ?
10 He that admonisheth nations, shall he not correct? is it not he that teacheth man knowledge!
ജാതികളെ ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നവൻ ശാസിക്കയില്ലയോ? അവൻ മനുഷ്യൎക്കു ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നില്ലയോ?
11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are nought.
മനുഷ്യരുടെ വിചാരങ്ങളെ മായ എന്നു യഹോവ അറിയുന്നു.
12 Happy is the man whom thou admonisheth, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law:
യഹോവേ, ദുഷ്ടന്നു കുഴി കുഴിക്കുവോളം അനൎത്ഥദിവസത്തിൽ നീ അവനെ വിശ്രമിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു
13 That thou mayest grant him repose from the days of evil, until the pot be dug for the wicked.
നീ ശിക്ഷിക്കയും നിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം നീ ഉപദേശിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ.
14 For the Lord will not cast off his people, and his inheritance will he not forsake.
യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ തള്ളിക്കളകയില്ല; തന്റെ അവകാശത്തെ കൈവിടുകയുമില്ല.
15 For unto righteousness will justice return; and it shall be followed by all the upright in heart.
ന്യായവിധി നീതിയിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞുവരും; പരമാൎത്ഥഹൃദയമുള്ളവരൊക്കെയും അതിനോടു യോജിക്കും.
16 Who will rise up for me against evil-doers? or who will stand forward for me against the workers of wickedness?
ദുഷ്കൎമ്മികളുടെ നേരെ ആർ എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി എഴുന്നേല്ക്കും? നീതികേടു പ്രവൎത്തിക്കുന്നവരോടു ആർ എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി എതിൎത്തുനില്ക്കും?
17 Unless the Lord had been a help unto me, but a little would have been wanting that my soul had dwelt in the silence of death.
യഹോവ എനിക്കു സഹായമായിരുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ എന്റെ പ്രാണൻ വേഗം മൌനവാസം ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു.
18 When I said, My foot hath slipped: thy kindness, O Lord, sustained me.
എന്റെ കാൽ വഴുതുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ദയ എന്നെ താങ്ങി.
19 In the multitude of my [painful] thoughts within me, thy consolations delight my soul.
എന്റെ ഉള്ളിലെ വിചാരങ്ങളുടെ ബഹുത്വത്തിൽ നിന്റെ ആശ്വാസങ്ങൾ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ തണുപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
20 Can there be associated with thee the throne of destructive wickedness, which frameth mischief as a law?
നിയമത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി കഷ്ടത നിൎമ്മിക്കുന്ന ദുഷ്ടസിംഹാസനത്തിന്നു നിന്നോടു സഖ്യത ഉണ്ടാകുമോ?
21 They band themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and innocent blood do they condemn.
നീതിമാന്റെ പ്രാണന്നു വിരോധമായി അവർ കൂട്ടംകൂടുന്നു; കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത രക്തത്തെ അവർ ശിക്ഷെക്കു വിധിക്കുന്നു.
22 But the Lord is become my defence, and my God, the rock of my refuge.
എങ്കിലും യഹോവ എനിക്കു ഗോപുരവും എന്റെ ശരണശൈലമായ എന്റെ ദൈവവും ആകുന്നു.
23 And he will bring back upon them their own injustice, and in their own wickedness will he destroy them: [yea], he will destroy them—the Lord our God.
അവൻ അവരുടെ നീതികേടു അവരുടെമേൽ തന്നേ വരുത്തും; അവരുടെ ദുഷ്ടതയിൽ തന്നേ അവരെ സംഹരിക്കും; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവരെ സംഹരിച്ചുകളയും.
