< Psalms 94 >

1 O God, of vengeance, Lord! O God of vengeance, shine forth.
Yaye Jehova Nyasaye en Nyasaye ma jachul kuor, yaye Nyasaye ma jachul kuor, nyis lerni.
2 Lift up thyself, O judge of the Earth! bring a recompense upon the proud.
Aa malo, yaye Jangʼad bura mar piny; chul josunga gima owinjore kodgi.
3 How long shall the wicked, O Lord—how long shall the wicked exult?
Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, nyaka karangʼo ma joma timbegi richo, nyaka karangʼo ma joma timbegi richo biro goyo siboi?
4 They sputter, they speak hard things: all the workers of wickedness boast themselves.
Gidiro weche mag wich teko; joma timbegi richo duto opongʼ gi sunga.
5 Thy people, O Lord! they crush, and thy heritage they afflict.
Gikidho jogi, yaye Jehova Nyasaye; gidiyo girkeni mari.
6 The widow and the stranger they slay, and the fatherless they murder.
Ginego dhako ma chwore otho gi jadak; gideyo ngʼama onge gi wuon.
7 And they say, The Lord will not see, and the God of Jacob will not take notice of it.
Giwacho niya, “Jehova Nyasaye ok ne; Nyasach Jakobo ok dew gik ma watimo.”
8 Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye become intelligent!
To winjuru, un joma omingʼ e dier ji; un joma ofuwogi, ubiro bedo mariek karangʼo?
9 He that hath planted the ear, shall he not hear? or he that hath formed the eye, shall he not see?
Donge ngʼama nochomo it winjo wach? Donge ngʼat manoloso wangʼ neno?
10 He that admonisheth nations, shall he not correct? is it not he that teacheth man knowledge!
Donge ngʼat marieyo ogendini kumo ji? Bende ngʼat mapuonjo dhano dibed maonge rieko?
11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are nought.
Jehova Nyasaye ongʼeyo pach dhano; ongʼeyo ni gionge tich.
12 Happy is the man whom thou admonisheth, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law:
Ogwedh ngʼat mikumo, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, ma en ngʼama ipuonjo koa e chikeni;
13 That thou mayest grant him repose from the days of evil, until the pot be dug for the wicked.
imiyo ngʼama kamano resruok e ndalo chandruok, nyaka chop kuny bur ne joma richo.
14 For the Lord will not cast off his people, and his inheritance will he not forsake.
Nimar Jehova Nyasaye ok bi dagi joge; ok obi jwangʼo girkeni mare.
15 For unto righteousness will justice return; and it shall be followed by all the upright in heart.
Yor adiera biro yudore kendo ne joma kare, kendo joma oriere gie chunygi biro luwe.
16 Who will rise up for me against evil-doers? or who will stand forward for me against the workers of wickedness?
En ngʼa mabiro radona gi joma timbegi richo? Ngʼatno mabiro chwaka kakedo gi joricho?
17 Unless the Lord had been a help unto me, but a little would have been wanting that my soul had dwelt in the silence of death.
Ka dine Jehova Nyasaye ok omiya kony, to dikoro asedhi dak e piny ma ji olingʼe thi.
18 When I said, My foot hath slipped: thy kindness, O Lord, sustained me.
Kane awacho niya, “Tienda kier,” to herani nojola, yaye Jehova Nyasaye.
19 In the multitude of my [painful] thoughts within me, thy consolations delight my soul.
Ka achiedh-nade nopongʼo chunya, to hochni noduogo mor e ngimana.
20 Can there be associated with thee the throne of destructive wickedness, which frameth mischief as a law?
Loch marach bende inyalo riworigo adier, loch mamiyo ji chandore malit nikech chikene maricho?
21 They band themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and innocent blood do they condemn.
Ginywako ne joma kare kendo gingʼadone joma onge ketho buch tho.
22 But the Lord is become my defence, and my God, the rock of my refuge.
To Jehova Nyasaye osebedo ohingana, kendo Nyasacha en lwanda ma aponde.
23 And he will bring back upon them their own injustice, and in their own wickedness will he destroy them: [yea], he will destroy them—the Lord our God.
Obiro chulogi nikech richogi kendo obiro tiekogi nikech timbegi maricho; Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachwa biro tiekogi.
