Psalms 93

1 The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with excellency; the Lord is clothed, he hath girded himself with strength: [therefore] also the world is firmly established, that it cannot be moved.

Il Signore regna, si ammanta di splendore; il Signore si riveste, si cinge di forza; rende saldo il mondo, non sarà mai scosso.

2 Firmly established is thy throne from the beginning: from everlasting art thou [God].

Saldo è il tuo trono fin dal principio, da sempre tu sei.

3 The rivers have lifted up, O Lord, the rivers have lifted up their voice; the rivers lift up their waves.

Alzano i fiumi, Signore, alzano i fiumi la loro voce, alzano i fiumi il loro fragore.

4 [But] more than the noise of great waters, than the mighty billows of the sea, is the Lord excellent on high.

Ma più potente delle voci di grandi acque, più potente dei flutti del mare, potente nell'alto è il Signore.

5 Thy testimonies are exceedingly steadfast: in thy house abideth holiness, O Lord! to the utmost length of days.

Degni di fede sono i tuoi insegnamenti, la santità si addice alla tua casa per la durata dei giorni, Signore.
