Psalms 92
1 “A psalm or song for the sabbath day.” It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:
Un psalm sau o cântare pentru ziua de sabat. Este un lucru bun să aduci mulțumiri DOMNULUI și să cânți laude numelui tău, cel Preaînalt,
2 To tell in the morning of thy kindness, and of thy faithfulness in the nights.
Să se arate bunătatea ta iubitoare dimineața și credincioșia ta în fiecare noapte;
3 Upon a ten-stringed instrument, and upon the psaltery; and with the sweet sound of the harp.
Pe un instrument cu zece coarde și pe psalterion, pe harpa cu sunet solemn.
4 For thou hast caused me to rejoice, O Lord, through thy doing: because of the works of thy hands will I triumph.
Pentru că tu, DOAMNE, m-ai înveselit prin lucrarea ta, voi triumfa în lucrările mâinilor tale.
5 How great are thy works, O Lord! exceedingly profound are thy thoughts.
DOAMNE, cât de mari sunt lucrările tale! Și gândurile tale sunt foarte adânci.
6 A brutish man knoweth it not, and a fool cannot understand this.
Un om neghiob nu știe; niciun prost nu înțelege aceasta.
7 When the wicked spring up like herbs, and when all the workers of wickedness do flourish; it is that they may be destroyed evermore.
Când cel stricat răsare ca iarba și când toți lucrătorii nelegiuirii înfloresc, este pentru a fi nimiciți pentru totdeauna,
8 But thou art exalted to eternity, O Lord!
Dar tu, DOAMNE, ești cel mai înalt pentru totdeauna.
9 For, lo, thy enemies, O Lord, for, lo, thy enemies shall perish: all the workers of wickedness shall be scattered.
Căci, iată, dușmanii tăi, DOAMNE, căci, iată, dușmanii tăi vor pieri; toți lucrătorii nelegiuirii vor fi împrăștiați.
10 But thou exaltest my horn like that of a reem: I am anointed with fresh oil.
Dar tu vei înălța cornul meu ca al unicornului, voi fi uns cu untdelemn proaspăt.
11 And my eye looketh on [the punishment of] those that regard me with envy: of the evildoers that rise up against me my ears shall bear it.
Ochiul meu de asemenea va vedea dorința mea împlinită asupra dușmanilor mei și urechile mele vor auzi dorința mea împlinită asupra celor stricați ce se ridică împotriva mea.
12 The righteous shall spring up like the palm-tree: like a cedar in Lebanon shall he grow high.
Cel drept va înflori ca palmierul, va crește ca un cedru în Liban.
13 Planted in the house of the Lord, in the courts of our God shall they spring up.
Cei sădiți în casa DOMNULUI vor înflori în curțile Dumnezeului nostru.
14 They shall still flourish in high old age; they shall be vigorous and covered with foliage;
Ei vor aduce rod și la bătrânețe; vor fi grași și înfloritori;
15 To declare that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no faultiness in him.
Ca să arate că DOMNUL este integru; el este stânca mea și nu este nedreptate în el.
