< Psalms 92 >

1 “A psalm or song for the sabbath day.” It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:
Zaburi. Wer. Ne chiengʼ Sabato. Pako Jehova Nyasaye en gima ber kendo wero wende mapako nyingi bende ber, yaye Nyasaye Man Malo Moloyo,
2 To tell in the morning of thy kindness, and of thy faithfulness in the nights.
hulo herani gokinyi kod adierani gotieno,
3 Upon a ten-stringed instrument, and upon the psaltery; and with the sweet sound of the harp.
kiwer gi nyatiti matin ma tondene apar ka wer ridore gi nyatiti maduongʼ ber adier.
4 For thou hast caused me to rejoice, O Lord, through thy doing: because of the works of thy hands will I triumph.
Nimar timbeni miya mor, yaye Jehova Nyasaye; awer gi mor nikech tije ma lweti otimo.
5 How great are thy works, O Lord! exceedingly profound are thy thoughts.
Mano kaka tijeni dongo, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, mano kaka pachi tut miwuoro!
6 A brutish man knoweth it not, and a fool cannot understand this.
Ngʼama omingʼ ok nyal ngʼeyo, joma ofuwo ok winj tiend wachno,
7 When the wicked spring up like herbs, and when all the workers of wickedness do flourish; it is that they may be destroyed evermore.
ni kata obedo ni joma timbegi richo nyalo loth kaka lum kendo joricho nyalo dhi maber, to ibiro tiekgi chuth nyaka chiengʼ.
8 But thou art exalted to eternity, O Lord!
To in, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, ibiro siko kimiyi duongʼ nyaka chiengʼ.
9 For, lo, thy enemies, O Lord, for, lo, thy enemies shall perish: all the workers of wickedness shall be scattered.
Nimar ka kuom adier, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, ka kuom adier to wasiki duto biro lal nono; joricho duto ibiro ke mel.
10 But thou exaltest my horn like that of a reem: I am anointed with fresh oil.
Isemiyo tungena odoko ma roboche ka tunge jowi; oseol kuoma modhi maliw.
11 And my eye looketh on [the punishment of] those that regard me with envy: of the evildoers that rise up against me my ears shall bear it.
Aseneno gi wengena ka iloyo wasika kendo asewinjo gi itena ka joma oramona ma timbegi richo itieko.
12 The righteous shall spring up like the palm-tree: like a cedar in Lebanon shall he grow high.
Joma kare biro loth maber ka yiend othith, gibiro dongo ka yiend sida mar Lebanon;
13 Planted in the house of the Lord, in the courts of our God shall they spring up.
Nikech opidhgi e od Jehova Nyasaye, gibiro loth e agolni mag Nyasachwa.
14 They shall still flourish in high old age; they shall be vigorous and covered with foliage;
Kata hikgi oniangʼ to pod gininyag mana olemo, kendo ginisik ka ginyien kendo gingʼich,
15 To declare that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no faultiness in him.
ka gilando niya “Jehova Nyasaye oriere tir; en e Lwandana, kendo onge richo moro amora kuome.”
