< Psalms 92 >

1 “A psalm or song for the sabbath day.” It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:

2 To tell in the morning of thy kindness, and of thy faithfulness in the nights.

3 Upon a ten-stringed instrument, and upon the psaltery; and with the sweet sound of the harp.
a pahrennae hoi yuemkamcunae naw teh, amom karoitawi tangmin karoitawi pâpho hanelah ahawi tangngak.
4 For thou hast caused me to rejoice, O Lord, through thy doing: because of the works of thy hands will I triumph.
Oe BAWIPA, na hnosak e naw ni banghloimaw lung na hawi sak. na kutsaknaw dawk lunghawi hoi la ka sak han.
5 How great are thy works, O Lord! exceedingly profound are thy thoughts.
Oe BAWIPA na tawk e hah banghloimaw a len. Na pouknae naw teh adung tangngak.
6 A brutish man knoweth it not, and a fool cannot understand this.
Tamipathu ni teh panuek hoeh, thaipanuek hoeh.
7 When the wicked spring up like herbs, and when all the workers of wickedness do flourish; it is that they may be destroyed evermore.
Tamikathoutnaw teh phokahring patetlah a cawn awh teh, ka payonnaw pueng a tawnta awh toteh, a yungyoe a rawk awh nahanelah, letlang a coung.
8 But thou art exalted to eternity, O Lord!
Hatei, BAWIPA nang teh a rasangnae koe na o yungyoe.
9 For, lo, thy enemies, O Lord, for, lo, thy enemies shall perish: all the workers of wickedness shall be scattered.
Oe BAWIPA, na tarannaw heh khenhaw! Bangkongtetpawiteh, khenhaw! na tarannaw koung a kahma han. Payonnae ka sak e naw pueng teh, koung kayei lah ao han.
10 But thou exaltest my horn like that of a reem: I am anointed with fresh oil.
Hatei, ka ki heh sakrak e ki patetlah na saw sak teh, satui katha hoi awi lah ka o.
11 And my eye looketh on [the punishment of] those that regard me with envy: of the evildoers that rise up against me my ears shall bear it.
Ka tarannaw koe phat seh ka tie hah ka mit ni a hmu toe. Na ka taran e tamikathout koe ka pouk e a kuep teh, ka hnâ ni a thai.
12 The righteous shall spring up like the palm-tree: like a cedar in Lebanon shall he grow high.
Tamikalan teh samtue patetlah kâhuen vaiteh, Lebanon mon e Sidar thing patetlah a roung han.
13 Planted in the house of the Lord, in the courts of our God shall they spring up.
BAWIPA im dawk ung e naw teh, Cathut thongma dawk a kâhuet awh han.
14 They shall still flourish in high old age; they shall be vigorous and covered with foliage;
A matawng totouh a pawhik katha lah tâcawt vaiteh, pou a kâhuet awh han.
15 To declare that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no faultiness in him.
BAWIPA teh a lan tie kamnue saknae lah, ama teh lungsong lah ao teh, ama dawk lanhoehnae banghai awm hoeh.
