< Psalms 9 >
1 “To the chief musician upon Muthlabben, a psalm of David.” I will thank the Lord with all my heart: I will relate all thy marvelous deeds.
Abụ Ọma. Abụ Ọma nke dịrị onyeisi abụ. Nʼusoro olu abụ “Ọnwụ nke Ọkpara.” Abụ ọma Devid. O Onyenwe anyị, aga m esite nʼala ala obi m too gị, aga m agwakwa onye ọbụla ihe ọma niile ị na-eme.
2 I will rejoice and exult in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High:
Obi ga-atọ m ụtọ; obi m ga-ejupụta nʼọṅụ nʼihi gị, aga m abụrụ gị abụ otuto, gị Onye kachasị ihe niile elu.
3 When my enemies are turned backward, [when] they fall and perish at thy presence.
Ndị iro m na-alaghachi azụ, ha na-asọ ngọngọ na-alakwa nʼiyi nʼihu gị.
4 For thou hast conducted my dispute and my cause; thou hast sat on the throne as a righteous judge.
I kpeela ikpe m nʼụzọ ziri ezi, nʼocheeze gị ka ị nọdụrụ na-ekpe ikpe ziri ezi.
5 Thou hast rebuked nations, thou hast caused the wicked to perish, their name hast thou blotted out for ever and ever.
I baarala mba niile mba ma laa ndị ajọ omume nʼiyi, hichapụkwa aha ha ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
6 O thou enemy, the ruins are passed away for ever, and the cities which thou hast destroyed, —lost is their memorial, yea, theirs.
Mbibi nke na-enweghị ọgwụgwụ adakwasịla ndị iro m, I hopukwala obodo ha niile. Ọ dịghị onye na-echetakwa ha ọzọ.
7 But the Lord will sit enthroned for ever: he hath established for giving judgment his throne.
Onyenwe anyị bụ eze ruo mgbe ebighị ebi. Ọ kwadoola ocheeze ya maka ikpe ikpe ziri ezi.
8 And he will judge the world with righteousness, he shall decide for the people, with equity.
Ọ ga-eji ezi omume kpee mba niile ikpe; jirikwa ikpe ziri ezi chịa mba niile.
9 The Lord also will be a strong-hold for the oppressed, a strong-hold in times of distress.
Onyenwe anyị bụ ebe mgbaba nye ndị niile a na-emegbu emegbu. Ọ bụụrụ ha ebe mgbaba e wusiri ike nʼoge nsogbu.
10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; for thou hast not forsaken those that seek thee, O Lord.
Onyenwe anyị, ndị niile maara aha gị ga-atụkwasị gị obi, nʼihi na ọ dịghị mgbe ị na-agbakụta ndị niile na-atụkwasị gị obi azụ.
11 Sing praises to the Lord, who dwelleth in Zion: announce among the people his deeds.
Bụkuonụ Onyenwe anyị abụ otuto, bụ onye nọ nʼocheeze ya na Zayọn. Kwusaaranụ mba niile ihe banyere ọrụ ebube ya.
12 For he, that inquireth after acts of blood, hath remembered them: he hath not forgotten the cry of the afflicted.
Nʼihi na onye ahụ na-abọrọ ndị e gburu egbu ọbọ anaghị echefu ihe; ọ dịghị elefu mkpu akwa nke ndị a na-akpagbu anya.
13 Be gracious unto me, O Lord; have regard to my affliction [coming] from those that hate me, thou who liftest me up from the gates of death:
O Onyenwe anyị, lee ka ndị iro m si akpagbu m! Meere m ebere ma napụta m site nʼọnụ ọnwụ,
14 In order that I may relate all thy praises in the gates of the daughters of Zion: I will be glad in thy salvation.
ka m nwee ike ikwusa banyere otuto gị nʼọnụ ụzọ ama niile nke ada Zayọn, nọrọkwa ebe ahụ ṅụrịa ọṅụ nʼime nzọpụta gị.
15 Sunk are nations in the ditch that they have prepared: in this net which they had laid in secret is their own foot caught.
Ndị mba niile adabala nʼime olulu ahụ ha gwuru; ọnya ahụ ha siri, zoo, amaala ha.
16 The Lord is made known: he executed justice: through the doing of his own hands is the wicked ensnared. Higgayon, (Selah)
Ihe e ji mara Onyenwe anyị bụ ikpe ya ziri ezi; ọrụ aka ndị na-emebi iwu na-ama ha dịka ọnya. (Sela)
17 The wicked shall return into hell, all the nations that are forgetful of God. (Sheol )
Ndị niile na-eme ajọ omume na-alaghachi nʼili; nke a bụkwa ọnọdụ mba niile na-echefu Chineke. (Sheol )
18 For not everlastingly shall the needy be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
Ma ọ bụghị ruo mgbe ebighị ebi ka a ga-echefu ndị nọ na mkpa; olileanya ndị a na-akpagbu agaghị abụkwa nke efu.
19 Arise, O Lord; let not the mortal boast of his strength; let nations be judged before thy face.
O Onyenwe anyị, bilie! Ekwela ka mmadụ nwee mmeri ọbụla nʼebe ị nọ; ka e kpee mba niile ikpe nʼihu gị.
20 Place, O Lord, fear over them: let nations know, that they are but mortals. (Selah)
O Onyenwe anyị! Mee ka ha maa jijiji nʼoke egwu; mee ka mba niile ghọta na ha bụ naanị mmadụ. (Sela)
