Psalms 88
1 “A song or psalm of the sons of Korach, to the chief musician upon Machalath-le'annoth, a Maskil of Heman the Ezrachite.” O Lord the God of my salvation, by day do I cry, [and] at night I am before thee.
Tonon-kira. Salamo nataon’ ny Koraïta. Ho an’ ny mpiventy hira. Almahalath-leanoth. Maskila nataon’ i Hemana Ezrahita. Jehovah ô, Andriamanitry ny famonjena ahy, Andro aman’ alina no itarainako eo anatrehanao;
2 Let my prayer come unto thy presence; incline thy ear unto my entreaty.
Aoka ny fivavako ho tonga eo anatrehanao; Atongilano amin’ ny fitarainako ny sofinao;
Fa diboka ny fahoriana ny fanahiko; Ary ny aiko manakaiky ny fiainan-tsi-hita. (Sheol h7585)
4 I am counted with those that descend into the pit; I am become as a man without vigor:
Natao ho isan’ izay midìna any an-davaka aho Ary efa tahaka izay tsy manan-kery;
5 Free among the dead, like the slain that dwell in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more; and those that are cut off by thy hand.
Efa nafoy ho any amin’ ny maty aho, Tahaka izay voavono, mandry ao am-pasana, Izay tsy tsarovanao intsony, Fa voafongotry ny tananao.
6 Thou hast laid me in the pit of the lower world, in darkness, in the depths.
Efa nametraka ahy any an-davaka ambany indrindra Hianao, Ao amin’ ny maizina, dia ao amin’ ny lalina.
7 Upon me lieth heavily thy fury, and with all thy billows hast thou afflicted me. (Selah)
Ny fahatezeranao manindry ahy mafy, Ary ny alon-dranonao rehetra azeranao amiko. (Sela)
8 Thou hast removed my acquaintances far from me; thou hast rendered me an abomination unto them: I am imprisoned, and I cannot go forth.
Efa nampanalavirinao ahy ny olona nahazatra ahy; Efa nataonao fahavetavetana eo imasony aho; Voahidy aho ka tsy afa-mivoaka.
9 My eye languisheth by reason of affliction: I call on thee, O Lord, every day, I stretch out unto thee my hands.
Ny masoko efa pahina noho ny fahoriana; Jehovah ô, miantso Anao isan’ andro aho, Mamefy tanana aminao aho.
10 Wilt thou display wonders to the dead? shall the departed arise [and] thank thee? (Selah)
Haneho fahagagana amin’ ny maty va Hianao? Ny matoatoa va no hitsangana hidera Anao?
11 Shall thy kindness be related in the grave? thy faithfulness in the place of corruption?
Hotorina any am-pasana va ny famindram-ponao, Ary ny fahamarinanao any amin’ ny fandringanana?
12 Shall thy wonders be acknowledged in the darkness? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
Ho fantatra ao amin’ ny maizina va ny fahagagana ataonao, Ary ny fahamarinanao ao amin’ ny tany fanadinoana?
13 Yet I cry indeed aloud unto thee, O Lord; and in the morning shall my prayer come before thee.
Fa raha izaho, dia Hianao no itarainako, Jehovah ô; Ary ny fivavako tonga eo anatrehanao nony maraina.
14 Why, O Lord, wilt thou cast off my soul? [why] wilt thou hide thy face from me?
Jehovah ô, nahoana no manary ny fanahiko Hianao Ka manafina ny tavanao amiko?
15 I am afflicted and perishing from my youth up: I bear thy terrors, I am distracted.
Ory aho ka efa ho faty hatramin’ ny fahazazako; Raha itambesa-ran’ ny fampitahoranao aho, dia very hevitra;
16 Over me have the fires of thy wrath passed; thy terrors have destroyed me;
Manafotra ahy ny fahatezeranao; Matin’ ny fampitahoranao aho;
17 They encompass me like water all the time; they have closed in round about me together.
Mandifotra ahy mandrakariva tahaka ny rano ireny; Miara-manodidina ahy izy.
18 Thou hast removed far from me lover and friend, my acquaintances [are in] darkness.
Efa nampanalavirinao ahy ny olona tia ahy sy ny sakaizako; Ireo nahazatra ahy dia fahamaizinana.
