< Psalms 87 >

1 “By the sons of Korach; a psalm or song.” It is founded by him on holy mountains.
Koramma dwom. Wato ne fapem wɔ bepɔw kronkron no so;
2 The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
Awurade dɔ Sion apon no sen Yakob atenae nyinaa.
3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. (Selah)
Wɔka wo ho anuonyamsɛm Onyankopɔn kuropɔn:
4 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as those that know me; behold, here is Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia: “This man was born there.”
“Mede Rahab ne Babilonia bɛka wɔn a wɔyɛ osetie ma me no ho, Filistia, Tiro ne Kus nso na maka se, ‘Wɔwoo eyinom wɔ Sion.’”
5 But of Zion will it be said, “This and that man were born in her:” and the Most High himself doth establish her.
Ampa ara wɔbɛka afa Sion ho se, “Wɔwoo oyi ne ɔno wɔ no mu, na Ɔsorosoroni no ankasa de no betim hɔ.”
6 The Lord will number when he writeth down nations. “This man was born there.” (Selah)
Awurade bɛkyerɛw wɔ nnipa dinkyerɛw nhoma no mu se, “Wɔwoo oyi wɔ Sion.”
7 And the singers as well as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs [of joy] are in thee.
Na wɔbɛto dwom se, “Me ntin nyinaa wɔ wo mu.” Kora mma dwom a wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo sɛ wɔnto no “Mahalat Leannot” sanku so.
