Psalms 86
1 “A prayer of David.” Incline, O Lord, thy ear, answer me; for poor and needy am I.
Oração de Davi: Inclina teus ouvidos, SENHOR, e ouve-me, porque estou aflito e necessitado.
2 Preserve my soul; for I am pious: help thy servant, O thou my God, that trusteth in thee.
Guarda minha alma, porque eu sou dedicado [a ti]; ó Deus, salva o teu servo, que confia em ti.
3 Be gracious unto me, O Lord; for unto thee I call all the time.
Tem misericórdia de mim, SENHOR, porque clamo a ti o dia todo.
4 Cause to rejoice the soul of thy servant; for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift my soul.
Alegra a alma de teu servo; porque a ti, Senhor, levanto a minha alma.
5 For thou, O Lord, art good and forgiving, and abundant in kindness unto all that call on thee.
Pois tu, Senhor, és bom, perdoador, e grande em bondade para todos os que clamam a ti.
6 Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer, and attend to the voice of my supplications.
Inclina, SENHOR, teus ouvidos à minha oração; e presta atenção à voz de minhas súplicas.
7 On the day of my distress will I call on thee; for thou wilt answer me.
No dia de minha angústia clamarei a ti, pois tu me responderás.
8 There is none like unto thee among the Gods, O Lord; and there is nothing like thy works.
Não há semelhante a ti entre os deuses, ó Senhor; e nem obras como as tuas.
9 All the nations whom thou hast made shall come and bow themselves down before thee, O Lord; and they shall ascribe honor unto thy name.
Todas as nações que tu fizeste virão e se prostrarão diante de ti, Senhor; e elas glorificarão o teu nome.
10 For great art thou, and doing wondrous things: thou art God by thyself alone.
Pois tu és grande, e fazes maravilhas; somente tu és Deus.
11 Teach me, O Lord, thy way; I will walk firmly in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.
Ensina-me, SENHOR, o teu caminho, [e] eu andarei em tua verdade; une meu coração com o temor ao teu nome.
12 I will thank thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will honor thy name for evermore.
Louvarei a ti, ó Senhor meu Deus, com todo o meu coração; e glorificarei o teu nome para sempre.
13 For thy kindness is great toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the grave of the lower world. (Sheol h7585)
Pois grande é a tua misericórdia para comigo; e livraste minha alma das profundezas do Xeol. (Sheol h7585)
14 O God, the presumptuous are risen up against me, and the assembly of the powerful wicked have sought after my life, and have not set thee before them.
Ó Deus, pessoas arrogantes têm se levantado contra mim; e muitos violentos procuram [matar] a minha alma, e te desprezam.
15 But thou, O Lord, art God, full of mercy, and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in kindness and truth.
Porém tu, Senhor, és Deus misericordioso e piedoso; tardio para se irar, e abundante em bondade e verdade.
16 Oh turn unto me, and be gracious unto me: give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thy handmaid.
Volta-te para mim, e tem piedade de mim; dá tua força a teu servo, e salva o filho de tua serva.
17 Display on me a sign for good, that those who hate me may see it, and be ashamed; because thou, Lord, hast helped me, and comforted me.
Faze-me um sinal de bondade, para que os que me odeiam vejam, e se envergonhem; porque tu, SENHOR, tens me ajudado e consolado.
