Psalms 86
1 “A prayer of David.” Incline, O Lord, thy ear, answer me; for poor and needy am I.
Inclina, Senhor, os teus ouvidos, e ouve-me, porque estou necessitado e aflito.
2 Preserve my soul; for I am pious: help thy servant, O thou my God, that trusteth in thee.
Guarda a minha alma, pois sou santo; oh Deus meu, salva o teu servo, que em ti confia.
3 Be gracious unto me, O Lord; for unto thee I call all the time.
Tem misericórdia de mim, ó Senhor, pois a ti clamo todo o dia.
4 Cause to rejoice the soul of thy servant; for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift my soul.
Alegra a alma do teu servo, pois a ti, Senhor, levanto a minha alma.
5 For thou, O Lord, art good and forgiving, and abundant in kindness unto all that call on thee.
Pois tu, Senhor, és bom, e pronto a perdoar, e abundante em benignidade para todos os que te invocam.
6 Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer, and attend to the voice of my supplications.
Dá ouvidos, Senhor, à minha oração, e atende à voz das minhas suplicas.
7 On the day of my distress will I call on thee; for thou wilt answer me.
No dia da minha angústia clamo a ti, porquanto me respondes.
8 There is none like unto thee among the Gods, O Lord; and there is nothing like thy works.
Entre os deuses não há semelhante a ti, Senhor, nem há obras como as tuas.
9 All the nations whom thou hast made shall come and bow themselves down before thee, O Lord; and they shall ascribe honor unto thy name.
Todas as nações que fizeste virão e se prostrarão perante a tua face, Senhor, e glorificarão o teu nome
10 For great art thou, and doing wondrous things: thou art God by thyself alone.
Porque tu és grande e fazes maravilhas; só tu és Deus.
11 Teach me, O Lord, thy way; I will walk firmly in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.
Ensina-me, Senhor, o teu caminho, e andarei na tua verdade: une o meu coração ao temor do teu nome.
12 I will thank thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will honor thy name for evermore.
Louvar-te-ei, Senhor Deus meu, com todo o meu coração, e glorificarei o teu nome para sempre.
13 For thy kindness is great toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the grave of the lower world. (Sheol h7585)
Pois grande é a tua misericórdia para comigo; e livraste a minha alma da sepultura mais profunda. (Sheol h7585)
14 O God, the presumptuous are risen up against me, and the assembly of the powerful wicked have sought after my life, and have not set thee before them.
Ó Deus, os soberbos se levantaram contra mim, e as assembléias dos tiranos procuraram a minha alma; e não te puseram perante os seus olhos.
15 But thou, O Lord, art God, full of mercy, and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in kindness and truth.
Porém tu, Senhor, és um Deus cheio de compaixão, e piedoso, sofredor, e grande em benignidade e em verdade.
16 Oh turn unto me, and be gracious unto me: give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thy handmaid.
Volta-te para mim, e tem misericórdia de mim; dá a tua fortaleza ao teu servo, e salva ao filho da tua serva.
17 Display on me a sign for good, that those who hate me may see it, and be ashamed; because thou, Lord, hast helped me, and comforted me.
Mostra-me um sinal para bem, para que o vejam aqueles que me aborrecem, e se confundam; porque tu, Senhor, me ajudaste e me consolaste.
