< Psalms 85 >

1 “To the chief musician, by the sons of Korach, a psalm.” Thou hast been favorable, O Lord, unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
Korah ƒe viwo ƒe ha na hɛnɔ la. O! Yehowa, èɖe amenuveve fia wò anyigba; ègaɖo Yakob ƒe nunyonamewo te.
2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people: thou hast covered over all their sin. (Selah)
Ètsɔ wò dukɔ la ƒe vodada kee, eye nètsyɔ nu woƒe nu vɔ̃wo katã dzi. (Sela)
3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast relinquished the fierceness of thy anger.
Èɖe asi le wò dzikudodo helĩhelĩ ŋuti eye nèdzudzɔ dɔmedzoe kaɖikaɖi dodo.
4 Return to us, O God of our salvation, and cause thy ill-will toward us to cease.
O! Mawu, míaƒe Ɖela, gaɖo mí te, míaƒe nu meganɔ dzi kum na wò o.
5 Wilt thou be wroth with us for ever? wilt thou extend thy anger from generation to generation?
Ɖe nàdo dɔmedzoe ɖe mía ŋu ɖikaa? Ɖe nàdidi wò dɔmedzoe la wòazɔ ato dzidzimewo katã mea?
6 Wilt thou not [now] revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in thee?
Màgagbɔ agbe mí, be wò dukɔ nàkpɔ dzidzɔ ɖe ŋuwò oa?
7 Show us thy kindness, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.
O! Yehowa, ɖe wò lɔlɔ̃ si meʋãna o la fia mí, eye nàna wò xɔname mí.
8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak; for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his pious ones: only let them not turn again to folly.
Maɖo to ase nya si Yehowa Mawu agblɔ; edo ŋutifafa ƒe ŋugbe na eƒe dukɔ, eƒe ame kɔkɔewo, gake ɖeko mègana woatrɔ ayi bometsitsi gbɔ o.
9 Surely, nigh is his salvation unto those that fear him: that glory may dwell in our land.
Vavã eƒe ɖeɖe tsɔ ɖe ame siwo vɔ̃nɛ la gbɔ, ale be eƒe ŋutikɔkɔe nanɔ míaƒe anyigba dzi.
10 Kindness and truth are met together: righteousness and peace kiss each other.
Lɔlɔ̃ kple nuteƒewɔwɔ do go wo nɔewo, eye dzɔdzɔenyenye kple ŋutifafa gbugbɔ nu na wo nɔewo.
11 Truth will grow up out of the earth, and righteousness will look down from heaven.
Nuteƒewɔwɔ mie tso anyigba me, eye dzɔdzɔenyenye do mo ɖa kpɔ anyigba tso dziƒo.
12 Yea, the Lord will also give the good, and our land will yield its products.
Yehowa ana nu si nyo la mí vavã, eye míaƒe anyigba atse eƒe ku.
13 Righteousness will walk firmly before him, and will make [level] the way by its steps.
Dzɔdzɔenyenye le eŋgɔ, eye wòle mɔ tam na eƒe afɔtoƒewo.
