< Psalms 84 >

1 “To the chief musician upon Gittith, by the sons of Korach, a psalm.” How lovely are thy dwelling-places, O Lord of hosts!
Kumutungamiri wokuimba namaimbirwo egititi. Pisarema ravanakomana vaKora. Ugaro hwenyu hwakanaka sei, imi Jehovha Wamasimba Ose!
2 My soul desired, yea, it also longed for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh shout with joy unto the living God.
Mweya wangu unopanga, uye unotoziya, nokuda kwezvivanze zvaJehovha; mwoyo wangu nenyama yangu zvinodana kuna Mwari mupenyu.
3 Even as the sparrow hath found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young: —[have I found] thy altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.
Kunyange shiri diki yakazviwanira imba, nenyenganyenga yakazviwanirawo dendere kwaingachochonyera vana vayo, iyo nzvimbo iri pedyo nearitari yenyu, imi Jehovha Wamasimba Ose, Mambo wangu naMwari wangu.
4 Happy are they who dwell in thy house: they will be continually praising thee. (Selah)
Vakaropafadzwa avo vanogara mumba menyu; vanogara vachikurumbidzai. Sera
5 Happy is the man whose strong confidence is in thee, [all] whose heart reflecteth on the paths [of righteousness].
Vakaropafadzwa avo vane simba ravo mamuri, vakaisa mwoyo yavo parwendo rweZioni.
6 Passing through the valley of weeping, they will change it into a spring: also the early rain covereth it with blessings.
Pavanopfuura nomuMupata weBhaka, vanouita nzvimbo yamatsime; mvura yomuzhizha inouzadzawo namadziva.
7 They go from strength to strength, each of them appeareth before God in Zion.
Vanowedzera simba pasimba, kusvikira mumwe nomumwe wavo amira pamberi paMwari muZioni.
8 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. (Selah)
Inzwai munyengetero wangu, imi Jehovha Mwari Wamasimba Ose; rerekerai nzeve yenyu kwandiri, imi Mwari waJakobho. Sera
9 [Thou, ] our shield, behold, O God, and look upon the face of thy anointed.
Haiwa Mwari, tariraiwo nhoo yedu; ringirai nenyasha dzenyu pamuzodziwa wenyu.
10 For better is a day in thy courts than a thousand [elsewhere]: I would rather choose to wait at the threshold of the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
Zviri nani kuva pavazhe dzenyu kwezuva rimwe chete, kupfuura mazuva zviuru ndiri kumwe; ndingada zvangu kuva murindi womukova weimba yaMwari wangu kukunda kugara mumatende avakaipa.
11 For a sun and shield is the Lord God; grace and glory will the Lord give; he will not withhold any good from those that walk with integrity.
Nokuti Jehovha Mwari ndiye zuva nenhoo; Jehovha anopa nyasha nokukudzwa; hapana chinhu chakanaka chaanganyima avo vanofamba zvakarurama.
12 O Lord of hosts, happy is the man that trusteth in thee.
Haiwa Jehovha Wamasimba Ose, akaropafadzwa munhu anovimba nemi.
