< Psalms 84 >
1 “To the chief musician upon Gittith, by the sons of Korach, a psalm.” How lovely are thy dwelling-places, O Lord of hosts!
MEID kaselel tanpas omui kan, Maing Ieowa Sepaot!
2 My soul desired, yea, it also longed for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh shout with joy unto the living God.
Ngen i kin inong iong o anane pera en tanpas en Ieowa kan; pali war ai o ngen i kin polauleki Kot ieias.
3 Even as the sparrow hath found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young: —[have I found] thy altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.
Pwe manpir diaradar deu a, o swalpe pas a, wasa a kin naitik ia: Sapwilim omui pei saraui kan, Maing Ieowa Sepaot, ai Nanmarki o ai Kot.
4 Happy are they who dwell in thy house: they will be continually praising thee. (Selah)
Meid pai ir, me kin kauson nan tanpas omui! Re kin kapinga komui ansau karos. (Sela)
5 Happy is the man whose strong confidence is in thee, [all] whose heart reflecteth on the paths [of righteousness].
Meid pai karos, me kin keleki komui, o idedauen komui melel!
6 Passing through the valley of weeping, they will change it into a spring: also the early rain covereth it with blessings.
Me kin weweid nan sap en mamaiei, wasa re kin weirada parer ia; pil katau kin pwain kidi i pai kan.
7 They go from strength to strength, each of them appeareth before God in Zion.
Re kin kakairida ni ar manaman akan, lao re pan sansalada mon Kot nan Sion.
8 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. (Selah)
Maing Ieowa, Kot Sepaot, kom kotin ereki ai kapakap: Maing Kot en Iakop kotin mangi ia! (Sela)
9 [Thou, ] our shield, behold, O God, and look upon the face of thy anointed.
Kot pere pat, kom kotin masan dong kit; kom kotin irerong mas en sapwilim omui keidier men.
10 For better is a day in thy courts than a thousand [elsewhere]: I would rather choose to wait at the threshold of the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
Pwe ran ta ieu mon sapwilim omui pera saraui kan me mau sang ran kid; i mauki mimi pan wanim en tanpas en Kot, sang kauson nan im en me doo sang Kot akan.
11 For a sun and shield is the Lord God; grace and glory will the Lord give; he will not withhold any good from those that walk with integrity.
Pwe Kot Ieowa rasong katipin o pere, Ieowa kin kotikida mak o wau, a sota pan kotin mueid ong me lelapok kan, en anane me mau kot.
12 O Lord of hosts, happy is the man that trusteth in thee.
Maing Ieowa Sepaot, meid pai aramas amen, me kin liki komui!
