Psalms 84

1 “To the chief musician upon Gittith, by the sons of Korach, a psalm.” How lovely are thy dwelling-places, O Lord of hosts!

۱ برای سالار مغنیان برجتیت. مزمور بنی قورح ای یهوه صبایوت، چه دل پذیر است مسکنهای تو!

2 My soul desired, yea, it also longed for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh shout with joy unto the living God.

۲ جان من مشتاق بلکه کاهیده شده است برای صحنهای خداوند. دلم وجسدم برای خدای حی صیحه می‌زند.

3 Even as the sparrow hath found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young: —[have I found] thy altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.

۳ گنجشک نیز برای خود خانه‌ای پیدا کرده است و پرستوک برای خویشتن آشیانه‌ای تا بچه های خود را در آن بگذارد، در مذبح های تو‌ای یهوه صبایوت که پادشاه من و خدای من هستی.

4 Happy are they who dwell in thy house: they will be continually praising thee. (Selah)

۴ خوشابحال آنانی که در خانه تو ساکنند که تو رادائم تسبیح می‌خوانند، سلاه.

5 Happy is the man whose strong confidence is in thee, [all] whose heart reflecteth on the paths [of righteousness].

۵ خوشابحال مردمانی که قوت ایشان در تو است و طریق های تو در دلهای ایشان.

6 Passing through the valley of weeping, they will change it into a spring: also the early rain covereth it with blessings.

۶ چون از وادی بکا عبورمی کنند، آن را چشمه می‌سازند و باران آن را به برکات می‌پوشاند.

7 They go from strength to strength, each of them appeareth before God in Zion.

۷ از قوت تا قوت می‌خرامند وهر یک از ایشان در صهیون نزد خدا حاضرمی شوند.

8 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. (Selah)

۸ ‌ای یهوه خدای لشکرها! دعای مرا بشنو! ای خدای یعقوب گوش خود را فراگیر! سلاه.

9 [Thou, ] our shield, behold, O God, and look upon the face of thy anointed.

۹ ‌ای خدایی که سپر ما هستی، ببین و به روی مسیح خود نظر انداز.

10 For better is a day in thy courts than a thousand [elsewhere]: I would rather choose to wait at the threshold of the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

۱۰ زیرا یک روز درصحنهای تو بهتر است از هزار. ایستادن بر آستانه خانه خدای خود را بیشتر می‌پسندم از ساکن شدن در خیمه های اشرار.

11 For a sun and shield is the Lord God; grace and glory will the Lord give; he will not withhold any good from those that walk with integrity.

۱۱ زیرا که یهوه خداآفتاب و سپر است. خداوند فیض و جلال خواهدداد. و هیچ‌چیز نیکو را منع نخواهد کرد از آنانی که به راستی سالک باشند.

12 O Lord of hosts, happy is the man that trusteth in thee.

۱۲ ‌ای یهوه صبایوت، خوشابحال کسی‌که بر تو توکل دارد.
