Psalms 84
1 “To the chief musician upon Gittith, by the sons of Korach, a psalm.” How lovely are thy dwelling-places, O Lord of hosts!
ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನಿಗಾಗಿರುವ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಗಿತ್ತೀ ರಾಗದಿಂದ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು. ಕೋರಹೀಯರ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿವಾಸಗಳು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ರಮ್ಯವಾಗಿವೆ!
2 My soul desired, yea, it also longed for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh shout with joy unto the living God.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಅಂಗಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಲು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಬಯಸಿ ಕುಂದುತ್ತದೆ. ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವೂ, ನನ್ನ ಶರೀರವೂ ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಕೂಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.
3 Even as the sparrow hath found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young: —[have I found] thy altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.
ಓ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಅರಸರಾಗಿರುವವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ಗುಬ್ಬಿಯು ಮನೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಬಾನಕ್ಕಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನಿಡುವ ಗೂಡನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲಿಪೀಠಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರಕಿತಲ್ಲಾ.
4 Happy are they who dwell in thy house: they will be continually praising thee. (Selah)
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವವರು ಧನ್ಯರು; ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅವರು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವರು.
5 Happy is the man whose strong confidence is in thee, [all] whose heart reflecteth on the paths [of righteousness].
ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಬಲಹೊಂದಿರುವರೋ, ಯಾರು ಯಾತ್ರಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೋ ಅವರು ಧನ್ಯರು.
6 Passing through the valley of weeping, they will change it into a spring: also the early rain covereth it with blessings.
ಬಾಕಾ ತಗ್ಗನ್ನು ದಾಟುವಾಗ ಅವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಬುಗ್ಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಮುಂಗಾರು ಮಳೆಯು ಕೊಳಗಳನ್ನು ತುಂಬುತ್ತದೆ.
7 They go from strength to strength, each of them appeareth before God in Zion.
ಅವರು ಬಲದಿಂದ ಬಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಗಿ, ಚೀಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
8 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. (Selah)
ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ಯಾಕೋಬನ ದೇವರೇ, ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ.
9 [Thou, ] our shield, behold, O God, and look upon the face of thy anointed.
ನಮ್ಮ ಗುರಾಣಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೋಡಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಭಿಷಿಕ್ತನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿರಿ.
10 For better is a day in thy courts than a thousand [elsewhere]: I would rather choose to wait at the threshold of the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಲಯದ ಅಂಗಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದ ಒಂದು ದಿನವು ಬೇರೆ ಸಹಸ್ರ ದಿನಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿದೆ. ದುಷ್ಟರ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಕಾಯುವವನಾಗಿರುವುದೇ ಲೇಸು.
11 For a sun and shield is the Lord God; grace and glory will the Lord give; he will not withhold any good from those that walk with integrity.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಸೂರ್ಯನಂತೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುವವವರೂ ಗುರಾಣಿಯೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನಿಷ್ಕಳಂಕವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ಹಿಂದೆಗೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
12 O Lord of hosts, happy is the man that trusteth in thee.
ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಡುವವನೇ ಭಾಗ್ಯವಂತನು.
