Psalms 84
1 “To the chief musician upon Gittith, by the sons of Korach, a psalm.” How lovely are thy dwelling-places, O Lord of hosts!
૧મુખ્ય ગવૈયાને માટે; રાગ ગિત્તિથ. કોરાના દીકરાઓનું ગીત. હે સૈન્યોના યહોવાહ, તમારું નિવાસસ્થાન કેવું મનોહર છે!
2 My soul desired, yea, it also longed for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh shout with joy unto the living God.
૨મારો આત્મા યહોવાહના આંગણાની અભિલાષા રાખે છે; જીવતા જાગતા ઈશ્વર માટે મારું હૃદય તથા મારો દેહ હર્ષનાદ કરશે.
3 Even as the sparrow hath found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young: —[have I found] thy altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.
૩ચકલીઓને ઘર મળ્યું છે અને અબાબીલને પોતાનાં બચ્ચાં રાખવા માટે માળો મળ્યો છે એટલે તમારી વેદીઓ આગળ, હે સૈન્યોના યહોવાહ, મારા રાજા તથા મારા ઈશ્વર.
4 Happy are they who dwell in thy house: they will be continually praising thee. (Selah)
૪તમારા ઘરમાં રહેનારાઓ આશીર્વાદિત છે; તેઓ સદા તમારાં સ્તુતિગાન ગાશે. (સેલાહ)
5 Happy is the man whose strong confidence is in thee, [all] whose heart reflecteth on the paths [of righteousness].
૫જે માણસનું સામર્થ્ય તમારામાં છે, જેઓનાં હૃદય સિયોનના માર્ગો ધ્યાનમાં રાખે છે, તેઓ આશીર્વાદિત છે.
6 Passing through the valley of weeping, they will change it into a spring: also the early rain covereth it with blessings.
૬રુદનના નીચાણને ઓળંગતા તેઓ તેને ઝરાની જગ્યા બનાવે છે. પ્રથમ વરસાદ તેને આશીર્વાદથી ભરપૂર કરશે.
7 They go from strength to strength, each of them appeareth before God in Zion.
૭તેઓ વધારે અને વધારે સામર્થ્યવાન થતાં જાય છે; તેઓમાંનો દરેક જણ સિયોનમાં ઈશ્વરની સમક્ષ હાજર થાય છે.
8 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. (Selah)
૮હે સૈન્યોના ઈશ્વર યહોવાહ, મારી પ્રાર્થના સાંભળો; હે યાકૂબના ઈશ્વર, હું જે પ્રાર્થના કરું, તે પર ધ્યાન આપો! (સેલાહ)
9 [Thou, ] our shield, behold, O God, and look upon the face of thy anointed.
૯હે ઈશ્વર, અમારી ઢાલને જુઓ; તમારા અભિષિક્ત માટે કાળજી રાખો.
10 For better is a day in thy courts than a thousand [elsewhere]: I would rather choose to wait at the threshold of the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
૧૦કારણ કે હજાર દિવસ કરતાં તમારા આંગણામાંનો એક દિવસ શ્રેષ્ઠ છે. દુષ્ટોના તંબુમાં રહેવું તે કરતાં મારા ઈશ્વરના ઘરના દરવાન થવું, તે મને વધારે પસંદ છે.
11 For a sun and shield is the Lord God; grace and glory will the Lord give; he will not withhold any good from those that walk with integrity.
૧૧કારણ કે યહોવાહ ઈશ્વર આપણા સૂર્ય તથા ઢાલ છે; યહોવાહ કૃપા તથા ગૌરવ આપશે; ન્યાયથી વર્તનારને માટે તે કંઈ પણ શ્રેષ્ઠ બાબત બાકી રાખશે નહિ.
12 O Lord of hosts, happy is the man that trusteth in thee.
૧૨હે સૈન્યોના યહોવાહ, જે માણસ તમારા પર ભરોસો રાખે છે તે આશીર્વાદિત છે.
