< Psalms 83 >

1 “A song or psalm of Assaph.” O God, take no rest for thyself: be not silent and keep not still, O God!
[Psalm lal Asaph] O God, nik kom misla, Nik kom sukas ac tia sramsram.
2 For, lo, thy enemies make a tumult, and they that hate thee have lifted up their head.
Liye! Mwet lokoalok lom elos alein, Ac elos su srungakom elos orek fohs.
3 Against thy people they take crafty secret device, and they consult against those whom thou protectest.
Elos orek pwapa lukma in lain mwet lom; Elos pwapa in lainulos su kom karingin.
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; and the name of Israel shall be remembered no more.
Elos fahk, “Fahsru, lela kut in kunausla mutunfacl selos, Tuh inen Israel in mulkinyukla nwe tok.”
5 For they have consulted cordially together; against thee they make a covenant:
Elos insese ke pwapa lalos Ac tukeni orala oakwuk se in lain kom.
6 The tents of Edom, and the Ishmaelites: Moab, and the Hagarenes;
Elos mwet Edom ac mwet Ishmael, Mwet Moab ac mwet Hagar,
7 Gebal, and 'Ammon, and 'Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
Mwet Gebal, Ammon ac Amalek, Ac mwet Philistia ac Tyre.
8 Also Asshur is joined with them; they have become an arm unto the children of Lot. (Selah)
Mwet Assyria oayapa welulosyang, Elos arulana asruoki ku nu sin mwet Ammon ac mwet Moab, su ma in fwil natul Lot.
9 Do unto them as [unto] Midian; as to Sissera, as to Jabin, at the brook Kishon:
Oru nu selos oana kom tuh oru nu sin mwet Midian, Ac nu sel Sisera ac Jabin sisken Infacl Kishon.
10 Who were annihilated at 'En-dor; they became as dung for the ground.
Kom kutangulosla in acn Endor, Ac manolos kulawi fin fohk uh.
11 Render them, their nobles, like 'Oreb, and like Zeeb; yea, like Zebach and like Zalmunna' all their princes;
Oru nu sin mwet kol lalos oana kom tuh oru nu sel Oreb ac Zeeb. Kutangla mwet kol lalos nukewa, oana ma sikyak nu sel Zebah ac Zalmunna,
12 Who said, Let us conquer for ourselves the dwellings of God,
Su tuh fahk, “Acn inge, su ma lun God, Kut ac eisla lasr.”
13 O my God, render them like the thistle-down, like stubble before the wind.
O God, siseloselik oana kutkut — Oana kulun wheat su ukukla ke eng uh.
14 As the fire burneth up a forest, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire:
In oana ke e uh esukak insak uh, Ac furreak eol uh,
15 So pursue them with thy storm, and with thy whirlwind do thou terrify them.
Ukwalosyak ke paka lom, Ac aksangengyalos ke eng upa lom.
16 Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek thy name, O Lord!
O LEUM GOD, afinya mutalos ke mwekin, Ac oru tuh elos in akfulatye ku lom.
17 Let them be made ashamed and terrified for ever and aye; yea, let them be put to the blush and perish:
Lela elos in kutangyukla ac sangengla nwe tok. Lela misa lalos in sie mwe mwekin lulap.
18 That they may know that thou, whose name is the Eternal, art by thyself alone, the Most High over all the earth.
Lela elos in etu lah kom mukena pa LEUM GOD— Kom pa Leum fulatlana fin faclu nufon.
