Psalms 82

1 “A psalm of Assaph.” God standeth in the congregation of God, in the midst of judges doth he judge.

परमेश्‍वर ईश्‍वरीय सभामा खडा हुनुहुन्छ । देवताहरूका माझमा उहाँले न्यायको फैसला गर्नुहुन्छ ।

2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and treat with favor the face of the wicked? (Selah)

कहिलेसम्म तिमीहरू अन्यायपुर्वक फैसला गर्छौ र दुष्‍टको पक्षलाई कृपा गर्छौ? सेला

3 Judge uprightly the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and indigent.

गरीब र अनाथहरूको बचाऊ गर । कष्‍टमा परेकाहरू र दरिद्रहरूको अधिकार कायम गर ।

4 Release the poor and needy: deliver them out of the power of the wicked.

गरीब र खाँचोमा परेकाहरूलाई बचाओ । तिनीहरूलाई दुष्‍टहरूका हातबाट छुट्टाओ ।

5 They know not, nor will they understand; in darkness do they walk on: all the foundations of the earth are moved.

तिनीहरूले न जान्दछन् न बुझ्छन् । तिनीहरू अन्धकारमा भौंतारिन्छन् । पृथ्वीका सबै जगहरू टुक्रिन्छन् ।

6 I have indeed said, Ye are gods; and children of the most High are all of you.

मै भनें, “तिमीहरू देवताहरू हौ र तिमीहरू सबै जना सर्वोच्‍चका छोराहरू हौ ।

7 But verily like men shall ye die, and like one of the princes shall ye fall.

तापनि तिमीहरू मानिसहरूझैं मर्नेछौ र शासकमध्‍ये एक जनाझैं ढल्‍नेछौ ।”

8 Arise, O God, judge the earth; for thou wilt possess all the nations.

हे परमेश्‍वर, पृथ्वीको न्याय गर्न उठ्नुहोस्, किनकि सबै जातिहरूमा तपाईंको उत्तराधिकार छ ।
