Psalms 8

1 “To the chief musician upon Gittith, a psalm of David.” O Eternal One our Lord, how excellent is thy name on all the earth! thou who hast set thy majesty above the heavens.

၁အို ကျွန်​တော်​မျိုး​တို့​၏​ဘု​ရား​ရှင်​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၊ ကိုယ်​တော်​ကြီး​မြတ်​တော်​မူ​ပုံ​ကို ကမ္ဘာ​တစ်​ပြင်​လုံး​တွင်​တွေ့​မြင်​ရ​ကြ​ပါ​၏။ ကိုယ်​တော်​အား​ထော​မ​နာ​ပြု​သည့်​သီ​ချင်း သံ​သည် ကောင်း​ကင်​ဘ​ဝဂ်​တိုင်​အောင်​ရောက်​ရှိ​ပါ​၏။

2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou founded [thy] might, because of thy opponents, that thou mightest bring to silence the enemy and him that seeketh vengeance.

၂ယင်း​သီ​ချင်း​ကို​က​လေး​များ​နှင့်​နို့​စို့​သူ​ငယ် များ​က သီ​ဆို​ကြ​ပါ​၏။ ကိုယ်​တော်​သည်​ရန်​သူ​များ​၏​ဘေး​မှ ကင်း​လွတ်​လုံ​ခြုံ​ပါ​၏။ ကိုယ်​တော်​အား​ရန်​မူ​သူ​များ​ကို​ဆီး​တား​တော် မူ​ပါ​၏။

3 When I behold thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast established: —

၃ကိုယ်​တော်​ရှင်​ဖန်​ဆင်း​တော်​မူ​သော မိုး​ကောင်း​ကင်​ကို​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ စီ​မံ​ထား​ရှိ​တော်​မူ​သော လ​နှင့်​ကြယ်​တာ​ရာ​များ​ကို​လည်း​ကောင်း ကျွန်​တော်​မျိုး​တွေ့​မြင်​ရ​ပါ​၏။

4 What is the mortal, that thou rememberest him? and the son of man, that thou thinkest of him:

၄သို့​ဖြစ်​၍​လူ​သည်​အ​ဘယ်​သို့​သော​သူ​ဖြစ်​၍ ကိုယ်​တော်​ရှင်​သည်​သူ့​အား အောက်​မေ့​တော်​မူ​ရ​ပါ​သ​နည်း။ လူ​သား​သည်​အ​ဘယ်​သို့​သော​သူ​ဖြစ်​၍ ကိုယ်​တော်​သည်​သူ့​ကို​ကြည့်​ရှု​စောင့်​ရှောက် တော်​မူ​ရ​ပါ​သ​နည်း။

5 Yet thou hast made him but a little less than angels, and hast crowned him with honor and glory.

၅သူ့​အား​ကောင်း​ကင်​တ​မန်​တို့​ထက်​သာ နိမ့်​ကျ​စေ​တော်​မူ​လျက် သူ့​အား​ဘုန်း​အ​သ​ရေ​ကို​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ ဂုဏ်​အ​သ​ရေ​ကို​လည်း​ကောင်း​ချီး​မြှင့်​တော် မူ​၏။

6 Thou hast given him dominion over the works of thy hands; every thing hast thou placed beneath his feet:

၆သူ့​အား​ကိုယ်​တော်​ဖန်​ဆင်း​တော်​မူ​သော​အ​ရာ ရှိ​သ​မျှ​တို့​ကို​အုပ်​စိုး​ခွင့်​ပေး​တော်​မူ​၏။

7 Flocks and herds altogether, and also the beasts of the field;

၇ကိုယ်​တော်​ဖန်​ဆင်း​တော်​မူ​သော​သိုး၊နွား၊ တော​တိရစ္ဆာန်၊ငှက်၊ငါး​နှင့် ပင်​လယ်​ရေ​သတ္တ​ဝါ​တို့​ကို​အုပ်​စိုး​ခွင့်​ပေး​တော် မူ​၏။

8 The birds of heaven, and the fishes of the sea, whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

9 O Eternal One our Lord, how excellent is thy name on all the earth!

၉အို ကျွန်​တော်​မျိုး​တို့​၏​ဘု​ရား​ရှင်​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၊ ကိုယ်​တော်​ကြီး​မြတ်​တော်​မူ​ပုံ​ကို​ကမ္ဘာ​မြေ တစ်​ပြင်​လုံး​တွင်​တွေ့​မြင်​ရ​ကြ​ပါ​၏။
