< Psalms 8 >

1 “To the chief musician upon Gittith, a psalm of David.” O Eternal One our Lord, how excellent is thy name on all the earth! thou who hast set thy majesty above the heavens.
O Pakai, Ka-Pakai u, leiset chunga hi itilom loma naming loupi hitam! naloupi nahi vanho sangin asangjon ahi.
2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou founded [thy] might, because of thy opponents, that thou mightest bring to silence the enemy and him that seeketh vengeance.
Nangin chapang hole naosen ho kamsung'a nathahat naho nahil in, hiti chun nagalmi hole nangma douho nasuthipjin ahi.
3 When I behold thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast established: —
Keiman janteng vanthamjol kavet akangaito jiteng, nakhut jung ho natoh in lhathah le ahsi ho agongtoh sel ui.
4 What is the mortal, that thou rememberest him? and the son of man, that thou thinkest of him:
Mihem hi ipi hija hibanga nagelkhoh’a, Mihem Chapa hi ipi dinga hibanga hi nakhohsah ham?
5 Yet thou hast made him but a little less than angels, and hast crowned him with honor and glory.
Nang’in amaho hi Vantil sanga themchabou nemjep in nakoi jin, loupina le jana dimset in lallukhuh nakhuhpeh e.
6 Thou hast given him dominion over the works of thy hands; every thing hast thou placed beneath his feet:
Nangin nathilsemsaho jouse chunga vaihop na napen, thiljouse akhutnoija nakoitan ahi:
7 Flocks and herds altogether, and also the beasts of the field;
Kelngoiho le bong ho chule gamsahang ho jouse,
8 The birds of heaven, and the fishes of the sea, whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
Vantham jol’a vachate, twikhang len’a nga-ho chule twikhang len’a kijap jouse ahiuve.
9 O Eternal One our Lord, how excellent is thy name on all the earth!
O Pakai, Ka-Pakai u, leiset chunga hi itilom loma naming loupi hitam!
