Psalms 76
1 “To the chief musician on Neginoth, a psalm or song of Assaph.” In Judah hath God been made known: in Israel is his name great.
ख़ुदा यहूदाह में मशहूर है, उसका नाम इस्राईल में बुजु़र्ग है।
2 And in Salem was his tabernacle made, and his dwelling-place in Zion.
सालिम में उसका खे़मा है, और सिय्यून में उसका घर।
3 There broke he the shining arrows of the bow, shield, and sword, and battle. (Selah)
वहाँ उसने बर्क़ — ए — कमान की और ढाल और तलवार, और सामान — ए — जंग को तोड़ डाला।
4 Thou art more brilliant, more excellent than the mountains [full] of prey.
तू जलाली है, और शिकार के पहाड़ों से शानदार है।
5 Bereft of reason are the stouthearted, they slumber their sleep: and none of the men of might have found [the use of] their hands.
मज़बूत दिल लुट गए, वह गहरी नींद में पड़े हैं, और ज़बरदस्त लोगों में से किसी का हाथ काम न आया।
6 From thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, lie in deep sleep both chariot and horse.
ऐ या'क़ूब के ख़ुदा, तेरी झिड़की से, रथ और घोड़े दोनों पर मौत की नींद तारी है।
7 Thou—thou art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thy anger [is kindled]?
सिर्फ़ तुझ ही से डरना चाहिए; और तेरे क़हर के वक़्त कौन तेरे सामने खड़ा रह सकता है?
8 From heaven hast thou caused [thy] sentence to be heard: the earth feared, and became still,
तूने आसमान पर से फ़ैसला सुनाया; ज़मीन डर कर चुप हो गई।
9 When God rose to judgment, to save all the lowly of the earth. (Selah)
जब ख़ुदा 'अदालत करने को उठा, ताकि ज़मीन के सब हलीमों को बचा ले। (सिलाह)
10 For the fury of man shall praise thee: the remainder of the fury wilt thou gird about thee.
बेशक इंसान का ग़ज़ब तेरी सिताइश का ज़रिए' होगा, और तू ग़ज़ब के बक़िये से कमरबस्ता होगा।
11 Make vows, and pay [them] unto the Lord your God, all ye that are round about him: let men bring presents unto him that exciteth fear.
ख़ुदावन्द अपने ख़ुदा के लिए मन्नत मानो, और पूरी करो, और सब जो उसके गिर्द हैं वह उसी के लिए जिससे डरना वाजिब है, हदिए लाएँ।
12 He will cut down the spirit of the powerful: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
वह हाकिम की रूह को क़ब्ज़ करेगा; वह ज़मीन के बादशाहों के लिए बड़ा है।
