Psalms 76
1 “To the chief musician on Neginoth, a psalm or song of Assaph.” In Judah hath God been made known: in Israel is his name great.
Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ. Wɔde sankuo na ɛtoɔ. Asaf dwom. Wɔnim Onyankopɔn wɔ Yuda; ne din so wɔ Israel.
2 And in Salem was his tabernacle made, and his dwelling-place in Zion.
Ne ntomadan si Salem, ne tenaberɛ wɔ Sion.
3 There broke he the shining arrows of the bow, shield, and sword, and battle. (Selah)
Ɛhɔ na ɔbubuu mmemma a ɛte ogya, ɛkyɛm ne akofena, akodeɛ nyinaa mu.
4 Thou art more brilliant, more excellent than the mountains [full] of prey.
Wo ho hann no hyerɛn, na wo so sene mmepɔ a mmoadoma ahyɛ mu ma no.
5 Bereft of reason are the stouthearted, they slumber their sleep: and none of the men of might have found [the use of] their hands.
Mmarima akokoɔdurufoɔ deda hɔ a wɔagye wɔn ho nneɛma, wɔadeda awufoɔ nna; na akofoɔ no mu baako mpo ntumi mpagya ne nsa.
6 From thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, lie in deep sleep both chariot and horse.
Ao Yakob Onyankopɔn, wokaa wɔn anim no apɔnkɔ no ne nteaseɛnam no adeda dinn.
7 Thou—thou art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thy anger [is kindled]?
Wo nko ara na ɛsɛ sɛ wɔsuro woɔ. Sɛ wo bo fu a, hwan na ɔbɛtumi agyina wʼanim?
8 From heaven hast thou caused [thy] sentence to be heard: the earth feared, and became still,
Wobuu atɛn firii soro, asase suroeɛ na ɛyɛɛ dinn,
9 When God rose to judgment, to save all the lowly of the earth. (Selah)
ɛberɛ a wosɔre buu atɛn, Ao Onyankopɔn, de gyee amanehunufoɔ wɔ asase no so.
10 For the fury of man shall praise thee: the remainder of the fury wilt thou gird about thee.
Ampa ara wʼabufuhyeɛ a ɛtia nnipa no de ayɛyie brɛ wo, na wɔn a wɔtumi gyina ano no nya kɔkɔbɔ.
11 Make vows, and pay [them] unto the Lord your God, all ye that are round about him: let men bring presents unto him that exciteth fear.
Monhyɛ Awurade mo Onyankopɔn no bɔ na monni so; momma nsase a atwa ne ho ahyia mfa ayɛyɛdeɛ mmrɛ Ɔbaako a ɛsɛ sɛ wɔsuro noɔ no.
12 He will cut down the spirit of the powerful: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
Ɔbrɛ sodifoɔ honhom ase; na asase so ahemfo suro no.
