Psalms 76
1 “To the chief musician on Neginoth, a psalm or song of Assaph.” In Judah hath God been made known: in Israel is his name great.
Ho an’ ny mpiventy hira. Hampiarahina amin’ ny valiha. Salamo nataon’ i Asafa. Tonon-kira. Andriamanitra dia fantatra eo amin’ ny Joda; malaza eo amin’ ny Isiraely ny anarany;
2 And in Salem was his tabernacle made, and his dwelling-place in Zion.
Naoriny ao Salema ny tranolainy, ary any Ziona ny fonenany.
3 There broke he the shining arrows of the bow, shield, and sword, and battle. (Selah)
Teo no nanapatapahany ny zana-tsipìka manelatra, sy ny ampinga sy ny sabatra ary ny fiadiana. (Sela)
4 Thou art more brilliant, more excellent than the mountains [full] of prey.
Mamirapiratra Hianao sady be voninahitra miseho avy any amin’ ny tendrombohitra fitohàna.
5 Bereft of reason are the stouthearted, they slumber their sleep: and none of the men of might have found [the use of] their hands.
Voababo ny mahery fo; renoky ny torimasony izy; ary samy ankona tsy nahahetsika ny tànany avokoa ny olo-mahery rehetra.
6 From thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, lie in deep sleep both chariot and horse.
Noho ny teny mafy nataonao, ry Andriamanitr’ i Jakoba, dia sondrian-tory ny kalesy sy ny soavaly.
7 Thou—thou art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thy anger [is kindled]?
Hianao no mahatahotra; ka iza no mahajanona eo anatrehanao, rehefa miseho ny fahatezeranao?
8 From heaven hast thou caused [thy] sentence to be heard: the earth feared, and became still,
Avy tany an-danitra no nampandrenesanao fitsaràna. Raiki-tahotra ny tany ka sina,
9 When God rose to judgment, to save all the lowly of the earth. (Selah)
Raha nitsangana hitsara Andriamanitra mba hamonjy ny mpandefitra rehetra ambonin’ ny tany. (Sela)
10 For the fury of man shall praise thee: the remainder of the fury wilt thou gird about thee.
Fa ny fahatezeran’ ny olona hidera Anao tokoa; ny fahatezerana sisa dia isikinanao.
11 Make vows, and pay [them] unto the Lord your God, all ye that are round about him: let men bring presents unto him that exciteth fear.
Mivoadia, ka efao ny voadinareo amin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrareo; aoka izay rehetra manodidina Azy hitondra fanatitra ho an’ Izay mahatahotra.
12 He will cut down the spirit of the powerful: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
Manapaka ny reharehan’ ny lehibe Izy sady tahotry ny mpanjakan’ ny tany.
