< Psalms 76 >
1 “To the chief musician on Neginoth, a psalm or song of Assaph.” In Judah hath God been made known: in Israel is his name great.
Asaf ƒe ha na hɛnɔ la. Woadzii ɖe kasaŋku ŋu. Wonya Mawu le Yuda, eye eƒe ŋkɔ lolo le Israel.
2 And in Salem was his tabernacle made, and his dwelling-place in Zion.
Eƒe agbadɔ le Salem, eye eƒe nɔƒe le Zion.
3 There broke he the shining arrows of the bow, shield, and sword, and battle. (Selah)
Afi ma wòŋe aŋutrɔ bibiwo, akpoxɔnuwo kple yiwo le, nu siwo nye aʋawɔnuwo. (Sela)
4 Thou art more brilliant, more excellent than the mountains [full] of prey.
Keklẽ geɖe ƒo xlã wò, eye nènya kpɔ sãsãsã wu to siwo me adelã le fũu la.
5 Bereft of reason are the stouthearted, they slumber their sleep: and none of the men of might have found [the use of] their hands.
Woha kalẽtɔwo, wodɔ woƒe alɔ̃ mamlɛtɔ; aʋawɔla siawo dometɔ ɖeka pɛ hã magate ŋu akɔ eƒe asiwo dzi o.
6 From thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, lie in deep sleep both chariot and horse.
O! Yakob ƒe Mawu, esi nèblu ko la, sɔ kple tasiaɖam siaa tɔ ɖe teƒe ɖeka.
7 Thou—thou art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thy anger [is kindled]?
Wò ko wòle be woavɔ̃. Ame ka ate ŋu anɔ te ɖe nuwò ne èdo dɔmedzoe?
8 From heaven hast thou caused [thy] sentence to be heard: the earth feared, and became still,
Èɖe gbeƒã wò afiatsotso tso dziƒo, anyigba vɔ̃, eye wòzi ɖoɖoe.
9 When God rose to judgment, to save all the lowly of the earth. (Selah)
O! Mawu, esi nètso be yeatso afia, aɖe anyigba la ƒe hiãtɔwo la, nu sia nu zi ɖoɖoe. (Sela)
10 For the fury of man shall praise thee: the remainder of the fury wilt thou gird about thee.
Vavã, wò dziku helĩhelĩ ɖe amewo ŋu, he kafukafu vɛ na wò, eye ame siwo tsi agbe le wò dziku la megbe la dze akɔ anyi.
11 Make vows, and pay [them] unto the Lord your God, all ye that are round about him: let men bring presents unto him that exciteth fear.
Miɖe adzɔgbe na Yehowa, miaƒe Mawu la, eye mixe adzɔgbeɖefeawo; anyigba siwo katã ƒo xlã mi la netsɔ nunanawo vɛ na Ame si wòle be woavɔ̃ la.
12 He will cut down the spirit of the powerful: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
Etsi dziɖulawo ƒe gbɔgbɔ nu; anyigbadzifiawo katã vɔ̃nɛ.
