Psalms 75

1 “To the chief musician, Al-tashcheth, a psalm or song of Asaph.” We give thanks unto thee, O God, we give thanks, and nigh is thy name: men relate thy wondrous deeds.

౧ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుని కోసం. అల్ తష్హేత్ అనే రాగంలో పాడేది. ఆసాపు కీర్తన, ఒక పాట. దేవా, మేము నీకు కృతజ్ఞతలు అర్పిస్తున్నాము. నువ్వు నీ సన్నిధిని మాకు వెల్లడించావని నీకు కృతజ్ఞతలు అర్పిస్తున్నాము. మనుషులు నీ ఆశ్చర్యకార్యాలు వివరిస్తారు.

2 “For I will take up a fixed time when I will judge uprightly.

౨నియామక కాలంలో నేను నిష్పక్షపాతంగా తీర్పు తీరుస్తాను.

3 The earth and all her inhabitants are melting away: I myself establish firmly her pillars.” (Selah)

౩భూమి, దాని నివాసులంతా భయంతో వణుకుతున్నప్పుడు నేనే ఈ భూమి స్థంభాలను నిలబెడతాను. (సెలా)

4 I said unto the arrogant, Deal not arrogantly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn.

౪అహంకారంగా ఉండవద్దు అని గర్విష్టులకు ఆజ్ఞాపిస్తున్నాను.

5 Lift not up on high your horn, speak not with a stiffly erect neck.

౫విజయం దొరుకుతుందని అంతగా నమ్మకం పెట్టుకోవద్దు. మీ తలలు పైకెత్తి మాట్లాడవద్దు అని దుర్మార్గులతో చెప్పాను.

6 For neither from the rising [of the sun], nor from [his] setting, nor from the wilderness of mountains [cometh this];

౬తూర్పునుండి గానీ పడమటి నుండి గానీ అరణ్యం నుండి గానీ విజయం రాదు.

7 But God is the judge: he lowereth one, and lifteth up another,

౭దేవుడే తీర్పు తీర్చేవాడు. ఆయన ఒకణ్ణి తగ్గిస్తాడు, ఒకణ్ణి హెచ్చిస్తాడు.

8 For there is a cup in the hand of the Lord, and the wine foameth, it is full of mixture: and he poureth out of the same; but its lees they drain, they drink—all the wicked of the earth.

౮యెహోవా చేతిలో ఒక పాత్ర ఉంది. అందులోని ద్రాక్షారసం పొంగుతూ ఉంది. అది సుగంధ ద్రవ్యాలతో నిండి ఉంది. ఆయన దాన్ని పోస్తున్నాడు. భూమిమీద ఉన్న దుర్మార్గులంతా ఆఖరు బొట్టు వరకు దాన్ని తాగాలి.

9 But I will declare for ever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

౯నేనైతే ఎప్పుడూ నువ్వు చేసిన కార్యాలను ప్రచారం చేస్తాను. యాకోబు దేవుణ్ణి నేను నిత్యమూ కీర్తిస్తాను.

10 And all the horns of the wicked will I hew off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.

౧౦నేను భక్తిహీనుల కొమ్ములను విరగగొడతాను. నీతిమంతుల కొమ్ములు పైకెత్తుతాను అని ఆయన అన్నాడు.
