Psalms 75

1 “To the chief musician, Al-tashcheth, a psalm or song of Asaph.” We give thanks unto thee, O God, we give thanks, and nigh is thy name: men relate thy wondrous deeds.

१प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये: अलतशहेत राग में आसाप का भजन। गीत। हे परमेश्वर हम तेरा धन्यवाद करते, हम तेरा नाम धन्यवाद करते हैं; क्योंकि तेरा नाम प्रगट हुआ है, तेरे आश्चर्यकर्मों का वर्णन हो रहा है।

2 “For I will take up a fixed time when I will judge uprightly.

२जब ठीक समय आएगा तब मैं आप ही ठीक-ठीक न्याय करूँगा।

3 The earth and all her inhabitants are melting away: I myself establish firmly her pillars.” (Selah)

३जब पृथ्वी अपने सब रहनेवालों समेत डोल रही है, तब मैं ही उसके खम्भों को स्थिर करता हूँ। (सेला)

4 I said unto the arrogant, Deal not arrogantly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn.

४मैंने घमण्डियों से कहा, “घमण्ड मत करो,” और दुष्टों से, “सींग ऊँचा मत करो;

5 Lift not up on high your horn, speak not with a stiffly erect neck.

५अपना सींग बहुत ऊँचा मत करो, न सिर उठाकर ढिठाई की बात बोलो।”

6 For neither from the rising [of the sun], nor from [his] setting, nor from the wilderness of mountains [cometh this];

६क्योंकि बढ़ती न तो पूरब से न पश्चिम से, और न जंगल की ओर से आती है;

7 But God is the judge: he lowereth one, and lifteth up another,

७परन्तु परमेश्वर ही न्यायी है, वह एक को घटाता और दूसरे को बढ़ाता है।

8 For there is a cup in the hand of the Lord, and the wine foameth, it is full of mixture: and he poureth out of the same; but its lees they drain, they drink—all the wicked of the earth.

८यहोवा के हाथ में एक कटोरा है, जिसमें का दाखमधु झागवाला है; उसमें मसाला मिला है, और वह उसमें से उण्डेलता है, निश्चय उसकी तलछट तक पृथ्वी के सब दुष्ट लोग पी जाएँगे।

9 But I will declare for ever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

९परन्तु मैं तो सदा प्रचार करता रहूँगा, मैं याकूब के परमेश्वर का भजन गाऊँगा।

10 And all the horns of the wicked will I hew off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.

१०दुष्टों के सब सींगों को मैं काट डालूँगा, परन्तु धर्मी के सींग ऊँचे किए जाएँगे।
